One Piece, calendar: June 1512.
West Blue, Kingdom of Prek.
The Kingdom of Prek is one of the few kingdoms in West Blue that qualifies to be a member of the World Government and participate in the World Conference. This kingdom is one of the most prosperous around.
There was a large arena with a Roman architectural style to the west of the island (therefore of the kingdom) (almost like that of Dressrosa).
By this time, the arena was almost complete, with at least 15,000 spectators.
This arena was run by the royal family and was one of the great features of the kingdom of Prek. Many tourists come every year to witness this great event.
The host, who was on a high platform at the side of the arena, glanced at the audience and shouted into the speaker: "Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to this great event."
The sound spread quickly throughout the arena.
A few seconds after hearing the voice, the cries of the spectators echoed in the arena.
The audience was excited!
"Look, here are the first guests of this ball," said the host, pointing to the people in the arena.
In the arena, there were about twenty people who were shaking. They looked desperate.
The audience looked at these people with excitement, and their eyes were red.
Regulars knew that at the start of every event in the Colosseum, they (the arena managers) would bring a group of slaves to fight a ferocious beast.
Finally, to feed the beast!
These slaves were ordinary people with no power or influence.
How could they defend themselves against ferocious beasts?
The blood and the dead stirred the most profound emotions of human beings, and it was like horror movies. Seeing such scenes, the spectators felt more than alive.

However, no one noticed that among this group of slaves, one man was not afraid but was happy.
He looked like he was in his twenties; his face was fierce and charismatic. He was 2.5 meters tall, if it had been in his old world, he would be considered one of the tallest, if not the most elevated, but here in the world of One Piece, that size was ordinary.
Contrary to popular belief, this man was from a small blue planet.
"So it was true... I walked through," Joz muttered, his body twitching with excitement.
Before being here, he had received a strange questionnaire asking him which world he would like to go to? Who would he want to be? And what power would he like to have in addition?
But he quickly came to his senses because he knew that his situation was not ideal.
..
"OPEN THE DOOR" shouted the host at this point.
The audience had an injection of adrenaline in their veins, and they began to scream.
Shit!
The colossal door had risen, letting the creature enter the arena. The slaves had straight pale faces.
ROOOOAR !!!!!!
A roar sounded, and a red figure covered in black stripes entered. This creature was imposing, and it had sturdy legs, sharp fangs, and a trickle of drool at the corners of its lips.
A tiger!! A huge Tiger !!
Joz was sure he had never seen such a giant tiger in his former life, almost as huge as an adult elephant.
The tiger looked at the slaves and walked gently around them.
Just a tiger's paw made several times the hand of an adult man. Hearing his footsteps made the slaves sweat cold.
The slaves moved closer to each other, and they felt more secure in a group. They backed up together as the tiger moved forward.

But they were shocked to see that one person was not following them; She had not moved from the initial location.
It was Joz, and the slaves didn't know anything about him.
They thought he was too scared to move, they motioned to follow them, but he didn't move.
The tiger that hadn't eaten for a long time rushed at Joz without any compassion. Joz was closest to him but also isolated from the group.
"KILL HIM!!!"
"BIT HIS HEAD !!!"
"SHRED-IT UP !!!"
"YESIIIIII FINALLY BLOOD !!!"
The audience was screaming with joy seeing this and hoping for a bloodbath.
Some people were screaming and covering their eyes with their hands but still leaving an opening to see the scene that was to follow—no compassion in their looks but excitement.
The slaves looked at Joz with sadness.
"Hmm ... diamond, so that worked out," Joz said, looking at the tiger in front of him. He was happy to know that his incarnation did indeed have the fruit he wanted: Kira Kira no mi.
His incarnation wouldn't usually be here, but thanks to his wish, This character was there. Joz lived in poverty and had to fly to survive, especially since he was an orphan. Unfortunately, he was caught by several traffickers and had arrived here. Joz did not know he had eaten a devil's fruit; the devil's fruits were only of a simple legend like the dragons on the four seas.
But this Joz knew that the original host had eaten a Devil Fruit and the type and those abilities.
Paramecia type Diamond.

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
