《Sword and Bloodline》Double Breakthrough II

A breakthrough! at this moment!
Lee was shocked stiff, though he wasn't entirely sure, he could only relate the strange energy building up in his body as a means of breakthrough.
As he continued to absorb the mystical core the strange energy began to grow. Lee gently began to direct the energy from the mystical core to force open his unopened spiritual path, like this, all the energy began to slam on the barrier in the spiritual paths.
The barrier in the spiritual paths which in the past few weeks had been constantly hammered by the energy from the mystical core, had lost some of its resistance.
The protracted action didn't seem to affect the serene Lee who just sat gently on rock.
Everything felt normal until suddenly, Lee felt his surroundings change, though his eyes were closed his spiritual perception was on a high level.
He opened his eyes and to his shock, he found himself in the ice world, the spiritual space which connected him and the sword totem which had had merged with the previously ordinary Blueflame, Lee stared at a distance, and his gaze caught Blueflame flame gently floating in the ice world.
"Why am I here again?" Lee couldn't help but ponder, he was dwelling on this thought when he suddenly caught with his eyes a strange movement under Blueflame.
Lee flew towards Blueflame with his transparent spiritual body. It didn't take much breath before Lee's spiritual body appeared before Blueflame. Lee floated around Blueflame and found on the tip of it's blade, silver coloured liquids that looked like drops of water. "Wow!" Lee gasped on seeing the foreign body in his spiritual space.
Each of this silver energy drops had dense energy fluctuating inside of it, the aura bursting out of it was tyrannical!

"What are this?" Lee wondered, his spiritual space was very crucial in his cultivation and any strange signs should be dealt with cautiously.
Lee stared at the silver energy drops curiously. "Could this be the strange entity I felt" Lee thought aloud, what baffled him the most was that he somehow felt attuned to this silver drops.
Lee was still pondering on this matter, when suddenly the silver energy drips began to eddy wildly around Blueflame, Lee unwittingly pulled back.
"What the hell is going on?" Lee stared jaw dropped at the silver energy drops which continued to circle with more intensity, in few breaths all Lee could see were just flickering silver lights.
It was as this moment, when the silver energy drops appeared not to be willing to stop spinning that a pale-yellow energy suddenly appeared and wrapped around the eddying silver energy drops.
"Isn't that the mystical energy" Lee stared shocked, he was still In the realm of shock, when abruptly, both the mystical energy and the silver energy drops vanished, but before he could voice out his shock, his spiritual body immediately dissipated.
"Arrgh! That hurts" Lee yelled has he felt a sharp pain suddenly hit his head, as soon as he existed the spiritual space.
"What!" He wasn't able to complain much, as Lee suddenly felt a more forceful and berserk energy began to slam on his spiritual path.
Lee didn't bother to ponder much about it, as he began to try and control the flow, because with how berserk the power was acting, it might do more damage than good!
But to his utmost shock, he couldn't control it, it acted like a mad solider that tool no command from any general.
"What the hell is this?!" Lee was beginning to sweat heavily as though a bucket of water has been poured on him, the consequences of this was more than he could even imagine, if the energy went the wrong path and ruptured the spiritual paths in his body he would become a trash that could not cultivate!

Inside of Lee's body, a pale-yellow mystical energy wrapped around the drops of silver energy which were spinning wildly and bulldozed the blockage in Lee's spiritual path.
"Boom!"
The berserk energy slammed continuously without no lose in momentum, it didn't take long before cracks began to ring out in Lee's body.
The wild energy still continued to strike the invincible barrier fiercely, until finally the barrier gave way and Lee reached the level of
A Third Level Spiritual Path Cultivator!
Lee smiled, with his speed, he wanted to see how Charles would try and rival with him especially his new found strength!
He didn't know what the silver drops were or where they originated from, all he knew for know, was it meant no harm.
But surprisingly, the energy didn't seem to want to stop there as it continued to charge through the third spiritual path towards the barrier blocking the fourth path.
"...." Lee was too shocked that he didn't know what to say, could it be that he would make another breakthrough!
The energy had no time to answer Lee's thought, has it bulldozed the barrier of the fourth level spiritual path.
Like a fierce bull the spinning silver energy drops began to hit the barrier, several fluctuation marks spread out, the energy which knew no retreat continued to slam the barrier. But something surprising happened, even as hard as the energy slammed the barrier all it did was just cause slight ripples.
"Haha, I was overestimating this strange energy!" Lee sighed as he sadly shook his head.
As though the silver energy drops could hear Lee's thought, and as if it was angered by it, the silver drops stopped spinning and in a flash the several silver energy drops merged!
The now humongous silver energy drop was pumping with terrific formidable power, that the energy undulating from it was enough to tell how powerful and dangerous the force present inside of it was.
"From what I can feel, the energy in this drop, might even surpass that in a star one mystical core!" Lee shivered on this thought, though Lee could not see inside of his body, at least he could sense it. The same way he could control the mystical energy into his body.
Even as terrific as Azure was he could only kill a star one mystical beast which was compared to a fifth level spiritual path cultivator.

Blightbane
Miscellaneous Notes: - I want to see about making a crude map of Shroud to help readers. - I also want to get back to writing Coalescence updates. Schedule Notes: - None for now, updates when I can. [ Thank you for your patience and support as I improve my writing and storytelling abilities. I'm also using this story to better develop lore that extends far beyond it. ] Thanks to another exceptionally talented artist, Hiroeth, Blightbane now has an official cover! Vera was alone again. “You’re completely unprepared. Never before has sending one of you off made me feel quite so guilty.” Whenever she found herself in doubt, she would weigh her actions against the guiding principles of the one whom she revered. “When you don’t know the rules of the game, start making them up. When you are constrained by unfavorable conditions, inject a little chaos.” It was the supplementary message that concerned Vera the most. It was difficult to follow because it was intentionally vague and mired in subjectivity. “How can I enjoy myself when you look so tormented? Are we in danger?” Vera fell silent. An experiment is taking place on a planetary scale. Across the surface of the planet, a phenomenon referred to as "Blight" is spreading. Festering regions defended by fierce creatures called “blightbeasts” taint the surface, warping the land and proliferating unceasingly. Among the sentient creatures of the planet, it is the Blightbane Guild’s responsibility to stem the tide. They endeavor to cleanse the land in a struggle of attrition, but they are losing ground. A young man named Caim has been uprooted from his former life and transported to The Shrouded Theocracy, an isolationist nation with fanatical policies. He must struggle to survive with only an unfamiliar strain of magic to aid him. There is a secret to this magic. One he knows very little about. He intends to explore just what makes this magic special. On the far border of the theocracy, a mage scientist named Inis discovers a revolutionary new way to infuse strength from defeated blightbeasts. Using herself as a test subject, this process allows her to grasp magical concepts previously thought beyond her reach. Though she tries to document any side effects that arise, something escapes her awareness. She is playing with a dangerous force that will claim her most treasured asset if she isn't careful. Everyone and everything on the planet is a part of the experiment. The experiment is a lie.
