"Clan head Skyfire, pardon me, but I disagree with you" Elder Chu with no emotion of any sort on his face said. This made his words feel blank!

"Ohh" Echoes of shock filled the hall, the elders stared at Elder chu in amazement .....such boldness!

"Do you have a better one!" Skyfire pursued his lips into a thin line, he questioned Elder Chu as patient as he could be.

"I don't mean to be rude, but I think your plan is a bit defective. It is visible to each and every of us that this clan though are increasing in strength each day, but compared to our clan their power is infinitesimal"

Everyone nodded in agreement, essence blood couldn't even cover this gap, a clan like Wateredge which had existed for decades would have gathered more force compared to a clan which was just beginning to rise.

"With this, I suggest that we go and attack them unawares, and if needed we can ally with Demon Saber Sect, and, maybe we can get our hands on those essence blood" Elder chu licked his lips, with greed written all over his face.

"I think Elder Chu is right, How strong could they be?" The first to show his support towards elder Chu's words was the ever sly Elder Son. On hearing the latter's voice Elder Chu sneered and gaze at him with contempt.

"That's true, what should we fear?"

"We are fearless swordsmen!"

"Feiryboulder, no matter how tough you are, I would crush you with my blade"

Voices of support filled the air, and a cheeky smile appeared on the face of Elder Chu.

The first elder frowned, he could clearly see that this elders that suddenly began to support Chu have been bribed or somehow have gotten pulled to Chu's side through unscrupulous means.

Situations like this were very hard, once so many elders support a motive, it would be quite tough for the clan head to disagree. But, nevertheless he could decide not to listen to them, he is the one in control!

First elder, couldn't help but stare at Skyfire wondering what the man's reaction would be.

Skyfire frowned a bit, and quickly began to analyse the situation.

In just few breaths, Skyfire seemed to have come to a conclusion, as a mischievous glint flashed across his eyes. "It wouldn't be bad if I act like Lee in this situation" this thought ran through Skyfire's head as he then grinned and gazed at Elder Chu.

"Elder Chu, I agree with you!"

On hearing this the eyes of everybody in the hall almost popped out.

He agreed just like that?

First elder stared at Skyfire in shock. How would he agree to such terms, he was putting the future of their clan at risk.

"Clan heea...." First elder wanted to call out, but he was immediately held still by Skyfire, who gestured to him with his hands.

"Clan head Skyfire, I never knew you would agree so easily" Elder Chu was badly shocked, but with his character and experience he concealed it.

"Yes, that's why i have a job for you" With a grin, Skyfire gently said.

"Ohh, and what could that be?" Elder chu was beginning to grow uncomfortable with Skyfire's constant grin. And he could sense that something good wasn't coming out of it.

"Nothing much, since you have asked us to fight them, which I agree to. As the one who brought this idea, I would like you, elder Son and the other elders that supported you to lead the extermination plan"

"Is that too much to ask?!" Questioned Skyfire, as he gently raised his eyebrows up.

"Youuu..You mean only us" Elder chu seeming to already understand Skyfire's intention, hurriedly asked.

Elder Son and the rest of Chu's supporters, on hearing this began to cower.

None of them was interested in any fight, in fact they preferred Skyfire's idea, they only decided to raise their banners for Elder Chu due to some promises he had made to them.

"Yes, only you guys, you guys make a good team, your attack power is among the best, Son's sword's speed is entirely peerless, and the others with you aren't retards, so what's there to be worried about?" Skyfire rubbed his hands together, and stared mockingly at Elder Chu.

"Clan head Skyfire, it was just a suggestion, I didn't actually mean it" Elder Chu smiled stiffly, he then shameless withdrew and then sat back.

Skyfire nodded his head, and stared at Elder Chu, if it wasn't for the fact that the man was an elite warrior, and his strength was quite needed in the clan, he would have gotten rid of him a long time ago, but their region was just too competitive, just a little drop in power, the other bodies would take advantage of it!

"Clan head, Lee should already be at the threshold of the second stage, right?" First elder sensing how unhealthy the atmosphere seem to have become decided to ease it a bit.

Skyfire didn't reply buy just chuckled. Threshold of second stage?...what a joke!

Seeing that the issue that brought them here had been discussed, they began to chat among themselves.

They were in this camaraderie filled mood when suddenly, the tightly towering sealed door of the hall slowly opened.

The whole gathering was shocked as they had instructed no one to disturb them, unless it was an issue of great importance.

Skyfire and the rest stared at the door, with several emotions on their faces.

It was then that a human dashed in, and then fell on one his knees, waiting for an order before he could speak.

"Dragonbone, why have you barged into our closed door meeting" Before Skyfire could even speak, the first elder had questioned the latter, with a little more of command than usual.

On seeing the one who had appeared, Skyfire frowned a bit, the lad who had appeared was no ordinary person but the son of the first elder.
