They looked towards the direction of the sound and saw that a huge 900 meters tall beast had crushed all the beasts.

On a closer look they saw that it was a huge 900 meter tall penguin with a crown on its head and his body was covered in a majestic robe of flames.

"Holy mother of hell. It's a Empyrean penguin. It's said that they faced extinction egons ago. Before the mass extinction they were on the list of the top 10000 most dangerous beasts of the universe." Fang Ryuu said what he had researched in the library of Fang clan.

~Siiiii~ Mei Lei sucked in a breath of cold air.

"$hit. What are we supposed to do now?? I don't have any qi remaining." Mei Lei cursed tiredly

"Don't worry we are in a tier 7 concealing array. He can't see us unless he's above Ascendant realm. So relax maybe he will just go away? "

As if to mock them, the Empyrean Penguin looked over towards the Tier 7 concealing array and waved it's flippers sending a fire slash towards them.

"FUCK! Dodge"

Fang Ryuu dodged to the side while grabbing Mei Lei. Both of them rolled a couple of time barely avoiding the attack of fire.

"Holy! A Immortal level Empyrean Penguin! We are doomed"

"umm... yea but can you stand up first? We need to escape" Mei Lei said while blushing.

Fang Ryuu looked down and saw that he was hugging Mei Lei.

"hmm? oh! yes! sorry!" Fang Ryuu's face went red as he quickly stood up without taking any advantage of the situation. They both were too embarassed that they even forgot about the Empyrean Penguin.

The Empyrean Penguin was getting angry at the two ants for treating it's majestic self as thin air. In a fit of rage he launched another attack. This time he attacked with his full power.

Fang Ryuu and Mei Lei quickly became alerted and started using thier protective artifacts. Soon two huge purple and red domes were erected around both of them.

The fire slash of the Empyrean Penguin hit the domes breaking the red dome erected from Fang Ryuu's treasure and creating countless cracks on Mei Lei's purple dome shield.

The Penguin kept attacking and the duo kept pulling out treasure after treasure to protect themselves. Mei Lei soon ran out of protective treasure and Fang Ryuu was also running out.

"What do we do? Is this how it is supposed to end??"

"Don't worry Mei Lei I will protect you after all this is due to that old fucker that we are in this situation. I promise that you will make it out alive " Fang Ryuu said as moved in front of her to protect her.

As I spent more and more time with her I felt that I was falling for her more than ever. Whenever I am with her, my heart starts beating like it's going to explore. I have been denying the feelings I have for her ever since I took over this body, but now I have a feeling to protect her at all costs even if it costs me my life.

My head was more clear then ever. My heart was beating at full speed as I turned around to take one last look towards the woman I inexplicably fell in love with.

I started staight into those big red beautiful eyes as if trying to reach her heart. I put my hands around her waist and pulled her towards me, lifted her veil and kissed her lightly on her lips. The Penguin was constantly attacking my strongest protection shield.

"Lei Lei I love you more than anything in this

world. Let me say this one last time i promise I will forget you after this."

~Boooooom~ the shield finally broke and I also broke through and reached the ascendant realm, but what suprised me was that there was a power surging out from my heart that made me elevate to immortal realm. New information about this sudden change poured into my mind.

I blacked out again with only one thought remaining in my heart - 'Protect Mei Lei'
