Chapter-6

"Your chapter in my book is over, it will forever be one of my favourites, but I can’t keep rereading it… hoping for a different end. I will give up, after this trip to gain experience I will help you unite with the one you love. This will be my FIRST and LAST promise to you as your fiancé.” I roared towards the sky.

‘Ah’ feeling the sudden divine sense checking on me I got startled and immediately checked my surrounding to find the source of the divine sense, but the person spying on me had retreated by then.

Who was that? And how long have they been spying on me? Do they know about me taking over this body? Just how much do they know?

Fear started creeping inside me as I thought about the horrifying possibilities that would happen to me if someone knew that I’m not the Fang Ryuu they knew. Taking in a deep breath, I calmed myself down.

I can’t find out about the person and I don’t know if they know my secret but I think I can’t live here. I need to make a plan and find somewhere else to stay where no one can find about my secret. Thus I started planning my first strategy after arriving in this world.

(Spy’s POV)

Running away from the place where I was spying Fang Ryuu, I reached my temporary residence.

~whew~

That was close, I almost got caught by him. But that sure was surprising, to think that Fang Ryuu would give up on senior apprentice sister. I need to tell her this right now, she will be so happy after knowing this. Sadly I forgot to record this happy moment in the recoding jade.

I started heading towards the golden building where senior apprentice sister Mei resided.

A person was knocking in front of a golden 3 story building.

“Who’s there?” a sweet voice came from inside the building.

“Senior sister! It’s me”

“Come in and have a seat.” Mei Lei replied in her sweet voice.

~creek~ the door opened by itself and the person outside walked in.

Mei Lei was sitting on a chair, while the other person came and sat on the other empty chair.

“Senior sister, you won’t believe in what I saw”

“What did you see to make you so excited and happy?” Mei Lei asked her excited junior sister.

“Fang Ryuu ... he”

“Stop junior sister, I don’t want to hear about him”

“I know that you don’t want to hear about him, but you need to hear this. I saw Fang Ryuu roaring towards sky that he will give up on you. He also made a promise to reunite you with the one you love.” Mei Lei’s junior sister asked in an excited voice.

“Really? He really said that?”

“I know right. Even though I saw the whole thing still I can’t believe it. Check this memory jade, I will transfer what I saw in this.” She took out a blue jade and closed her eyes before giving it to Mei Lei.

Mei Lei took the memory jade and injected her divine sense in the blue jade. Scenes from the time Fang Ryuu was roaring towards the sky till the time he detected the Divine sense started playing in Mei Lei’s mind.

Her expressions kept changing as Fang Ryuu kept talking. Soon she opened her eyes and the memory jade in her hand tuned to dust. Her eyes turned complex as she thought about the 500 years he had tried to impress her and win her favour, but soon she felt liberated and relaxed.

She got up from her seat and hugged her junior sister from happiness.

Fang Ryuu was sitting in his white mansion.

“Number 4” he called out his butler. Number4 was a guard prepared by the Fang clan to be the right hand man of Fang Ryuu. The previous Fang Ryuu used him as a butler for his mansion as the previous Fang Ryuu didn’t go out and kept cultivating all the time.

“Yes master”

“Go and prepare some Ascendant Tier pills, 2 million top tier Qi stones, 200 Void Shattering tier healing pills, and lifesaving treasures … for the adventure by tomorrow.” Fang Ryuu stated a very long list of items that seemed to never end. If someone hear the list they would be shocked. The resouces he asked for can support a top sect in Laniakea galaxy's lower level planets.

“Yes master” Number 4 disappeared.

“Well at least I can completely trust number 4. Number 4 was given a pill at birth that makes him completely submit to me. If he ever betrays me, he will disintegrate.

“I need to head to the library tomorrow and get some information before I can finalise my plan. For now I need to sleep, so much has happened to me in the past few days that I feel mentally exhausted."

The seven suns shone brightly in the sky. Fang Ryuu woke up in his mansion and after having an exotic breakfast, he headed to the Fang library using the teleport array.

With a flash of light he appeared inside a huge building that was filled with millions of books and jades. Looking at the massive library Fang Ryuu was mesmerised. Walking towards the center of the building, he touched a blue sphere place at the center.

~swooop~

His vision blacked for a moment and his divine sense dived inside of the spherical blue stone. Here Fang Ryuu could see every information the Fang clan had collected, be it arrays, pills, cultivation methods, spells, weapon forging, inheritances, places to find natural treasures.

“Formation arrays” Fang Ryuu shouted and jades about arrays and formation flew from different places in the library and stopped in front of him.

“Nice! Step one completed.” he grabbed the jades and put them in his spacial ring.

“With this I’m all ready to go to this mission and break through to Ascendant realm.” Saying this Fang Ryuu walked out of the library and decided to walk to his mansion.

“Senior sister, what’s with this order from the sect? They want to send you to the Eternal Ice Valley to gather the Bone chilling Fire Lotus? And that too with Fang Ryuu?”

“I knew that it was too good to be true. How can that Fang Ryuu give up on me that easily? After all he has courted me for more than 500 years” Mei Lei said.

Fang Ryuu who decided to walk to his mansion saw Mei Lei and another woman with her.

“Hey Miss Mei.” Mei Lei was furrowed her brows at how Fang Ryuu had addressed her. She had told him to address her as Mei Lei but the way he was addressing her now was implying that they didn’t know each other.

“What do you want Fang Ryuu?” She felt some annoyance towards him for calling her Miss Mei.

“Miss Mei I want all the gifts I gave you back as I know that you haven’t used them, so if you still have them I want them back. Also I promise you that I will help you find the one you love after this mission.”

“~hmmph~” She stomped her legs on the ground.

“Fine! Who wants your help! And no I already used them, so no I can’t give them back.”

‘Who asked you to annoy me? I won’t give them back anymore. Maybe if you had asked me nicely.’ She felt more and more annoyed at Fang Ryuu.

“Fine you can keep it, I will think of the gifts as charity.”

“You….You….” Mei Lei was left speechless for the first time in her life.

“Let’s depart tomorrow if you are done with your preparations. The sooner we are done with this the sooner we can go our separate ways.”

“YES I’M FINE WITH DEPARTING TOMORROW” Mei Lei lost her composure.

“See you tomorrow Miss Mei” Fang Ryuu clasped his hands and walked away from the two women.

“What happened to him senior sister? He looks like he has changed overnight”

“~hmph~ how dare he talk to me like that! I will show him what I’m made of during this mission.” She said as she unconsciously unleashed the full power of her early Ascendant realm.
