“hoho! Fang Ryuu you will be the future of the Fang Clan. With your talent you will be the leader of this generation of geniuses. Remember we expect a lot from you, our Fang clan may be the wealthiest clan in the Laniakea Galaxy but we are not that powerful when compared to the top 3 super galaxies. You have to work hard for the future of our clan.” Said the old man stroking his long grey beard.

“Yes grandfather. I will work very hard” I replied, as I bowed down to the old man. I could feel respect and excitement exuding from me.

My vision blanked for a moment and the scenery in front of me changed as I found myself standing in a grass field. In front of me was a wooden tub with boiling hot water.

“Ryuu get in the medicinal bath, it will help you purge out the impurities from your body and strengthen your meridians.”

“No grandpa please! I don’t want to do this” I pleaded in a shaky voice as tears trickled down my eyes.

“You will do this. My grandfather trained me like this. My father trained your father like this. You will be trained like this and you will train your grandchild like this. No matter how much I love you I won’t break the family tradition for you”,hpmph~ kid what do you know, I begged my grandfather to not throw me in the tub, I begged and begged and begged but he told me the same thing and threw me in the water using his qi.

“aaaaaaa! No Grandpa please let me out, I promise that I won’t ever make fun of your beard again.” the old man lifted his finger and I was thrown into the hot boiling water.

The old man just kept on stroking his beard “Kid I trust in you. You can do this” I could see him smiling at me sadistically. The old fucker kept me in the hot water for 2 days and I swear that he enjoyed every second watching me scream. After 2 days of rest the old fucker started training me again before giving me another break for 2 days. This cycle continued for 50 years till the old man was done teaching the basics of cultivation. After which was 500 boring years of cultivation.

I once again found myself in that dimly lit room with the old fucker sitting in front of me stroking his beard.

“Ryuu come sit and have some tea, I’ve got something to tell you.” His smile caused me to flinch in fear.

“You will. It’s our family tradition to marry talented people of other sects and families for political reasons.”

The scene changed once again. This time I was standing in front of a lake with a beautiful woman in red ancient dress standing next to me. She had long black silky hair, beautiful red eyes. While she had a veil on her face it could not hide her beautiful and angel like body.

“Miss Mei. I want to know what your opinion about this marriage.” I asked

“Mister Fang I honestly don’t know what I think about this marriage. But I want to respect the decision of my clan and my ancestors.”

“Miss Mie if you don’t object to this marriage, can you lift your veil? I want to see what my future wife looks like.”

“This… How about you remove the veil yourself after the marriage mister Fang? I want my future husband to like me for who I am, not just my beauty.” She answered after hesitating and pondering for a while.

I kept on chatting with Mei Lei for hours.

~swoosh~~swoosh~~swoosh~ the sceneries kept changing. Fang Ryuu had many pleasant conversations with Mei Lei and I had to listen to them all. Giving many gifts to Mei Lei over the course of 500 years. Everything Fang Ryuu did was for Mei Lei, all he thought about was his future with Mei Lei. Till the time his soul was extinguished and absorbed by me, all he had done his entire life was cultivate under the watch of that old fucker and chase after Mei Lei like a dog wagging his tail after his owner.

After living through the important events of Fang Ryuu’s life I woke up. Getting up from the ground I looked at the sky filled with a big moon reflecting the seven lights of the seven Suns of Laniakea planet causing the sky to be filled with auroras. The beautiful night sky filled with stars and the aurora gave birth to a new sense of life with me.

“I will live this life as I want to. I will live every second to the fullest.”

“Planet Laniakea and Laniakea Galaxy be ready! Here I come!” I yelled looking at the beautiful night sky.

“Awwwwooooooooooooooo” the three headed dog, BaiBai howled towards the moon. Looking at the dog that brought me here, I hugged the dog tightly.

‘I WILL LIVE WITH NO REGRETS’

Going through the memories of Fang Ryuu in my mind once again, I took out my flying sword out of my space ring. Standing on top of the flying sword I injected qi in it and steered it towards my new home. Fortunately due to Fang Ryuu’s memories I didn’t have any problems using the technology of this world.

“Wow!”

Never did I think that one day I would get transmigrated to a world similar to the lightnolves that I used to read so much of as a child. Flying swords, qi, storage rings, immortality? There’s so many things in this world to explore. I will fulfill my wish of seeing the world in this new world with my new identity.
