No, neither you nor me is the star of this retelling.

The Star of the show is a girl.

This particular girl have always fit in, lived a perfectly normal life, but have been bored out of her mind. When the opportunity to change comes forth, she jumps at the opportunity. Which happens to be the start of a chain of events that will lead to an ancient battle.

A battle between good and evil, light and darkness and all the other opposites that represent two contradicting opinions. And as always in a conflict stands the question of which side is right.

However, that question of which side that is right or wrong always depends on which side you are looking from.

Anyhow, let’s once more focus on the girl. This person will have a huge influence on both sides, since she doesn’t particularly care about things that people normally concern themselves about. She can be willful, generous and kind when she wants to, but also ruthless, cruel and filled with greed. She represents both sides of humanity, both the good and bad. I am not telling you that she is some kind of perfect human or malevolent monster, no, flawed as she may be she is only someone that listens to her own heart and doesn’t pretend to be anything or anyone other than herself.

For that is one of the greatest weaknesses and strongest assets of humanity, we pretend to be kind and good, that we are selfless, just to satisfy something deep inside our souls. Those who will deny this are either lying to those who are listening or lying to themselves.

Anyhow, let us begin this story of the most honest human in the world, a girl of 20 years.
