Jill, the midwife, looked at the baby in her hands. The baby did not utter a sound, unlike other babies who were just born. Instead the baby's green eyes, were looking at her face, as if observing her. She was startled for a second, then brushed off the idea. She then quickly wrapped it into a towel, snugly, and gave it to Mary who was on the bed.
Mary look at the baby's face, and his green eyes, which resembled his father's. She herself could not explain what she was feeling, looking at the small human in her arms. She was happy, yet at the same time, extremely careful to not drop her baby.
Yet, she could not help but feel weird as the baby looked at her with a scrutinizing gaze. As if it had knowledge already. She also noticed that it was not crying like other kids would, when they were born, this worried her.
Making her think that, her baby is sick, or a mute. Still, her love remained the same, at the same time she became even more protective as she brought the baby even closer to her.The baby in her hands, looked at her, for 10 more seconds, then closed it's eyes, falling asleep, at least, that is what she thought.
Jeffery(The Baby) already knew, who the woman was, as she looked at him. It was the same look that his mother gave him, at least before she died. He knew that this woman was now his mother, though he did not immediately love this women, like he loved his mother in his past life, he already became very protective of her.
He did not know where this sense of being protective came from but her knew that he had it, and that he cant control it.Thus he forgot about it. He tried to go to sleep, which he did, but he noticed that even if his body was resting, his soul was not able to, his soul was not tired at all, thus he decided to keep doing what he had been doing the past 9 months. Which, is to keep mediating, and gathering Qi. Like this, a day passed.

As, he was resting comfortably, he felt a pair of hands lift him up, thus he opened his eyes. He saw a man, about 7 foot tall, with so much muscles that he looked like a body builder. He was ripped, with long hair to his shoulders, and a beard that look very unkempt, and rarely shaved.
Yet as the same time, the man had a wide smile, making him look extremely handsome, even with how unkempt he was. His teeth, very white, which he was not expecting, from the way the man was dressed and how his body was. He could tell that this man was either a barbarian, or a savage.
Though, he looked like a barbarian, the man was looking at him as if he was the greatest treasure in the world. Then, the man started laughing, extremely loud, just be berated by Mary, who quickly took the baby from him. He then, laughed even more, not caring about the fact that he was just berated by his wife.
"Stop laughing so loud John, you'll scare him." Said Mary
"Whats wrong with me laughing loud? Im happy that my child was born, further more, its a boy, my legacy, the next man of my house, the one to continue, my lineage." he replied.
"Now I don't have have to be extremely worried when I go to hunt, even if I died now, ill know that my family line, did not end with me, and that it will be continued." he continued in a relieved yet happy tone.
"Alright, but still you woke him with your laughter, Now go wash up, ill feed him" she said.
"Also what should we name him?" she continued.
"I will name him Jeffery, the same name that his grandpa had, he shall carry. " He said proudly, while restraining his urge to laugh out loud again.

"Ok, Jeffery it is, also go take a shower, your sweaty " said Mary as she carried Jeffery to a chair, and started to breastfeed him.
Knowing that his body still needed supplement to grow, he had no complaints as he quietly drink.
After 15 minutes he stopped, then he went back to sleep, he stopped not because he was full, but because he was like a bottomless pit, and continuing would hurt his mother.
Like this his Daily life of eating, sleeping and pooping, continued. When he pooped himself, he would cry, which relieved his parents, as he finally did something normal. Though he wish he could find a hole to hide in since he could not control it, he felt extremely ashamed. He hated having to fake cry, but he hated it even more since he could not control it.

Disclaimer: I'm not continuing this story. Check out Azarinth Healer, it's a more current story where I worked on a lot of things I found wrong with this one. Main character is somewhat similar as well so if you like Eleonora, you'll probably like Ilea. I still invested a ton of time writing this so check it out if you feel like it. There's gonna be 20 Chapters 39k words total. Hey everyone. This is a story I've started writing like a year ago and thought why not post it now. This story is about fighting and magic in a pretty standard fantasy world. The story follows Eleonora through her daily life in Duneswatch and on her way to become an adventurer. No secrets here, it's pretty generic. Should be decently paced so just give it a shot if you want to. I'm not gonna sell it to you in this quick summary. The range of writing on RR is so wide we both know you just have to give it a chapter...or a paragraph depending on how unique the grammar is. Please do criticize harshly. I'm definitely no writer but everybody can improve with pointers in the right direction. Don't expect regular updates.

Dhanurana
Out of an unnaturally quiet night, a bedraggled woman in noble finery requests access to the southern capital. Who she is has been lost to time for most, but her continued existence will throw everything further out of balance. Janurana had barely survived her royal house's destruction at the hands of foreign invaders, surviving day by day in the scattered pocket forests and arid shrub lands, constantly escaping the ghosts of her past. The south has barely survived their recent Pyrrhic victory against the north immediately followed by a coup. The north is bloodied but unbowed, on the brink of civil war, but still ready to take up arms against the southern invaders. The leaders of the south cannot afford another obstacle. And Janurana is just that. Yet her chance meeting with a woman expelled from the warrior class named Dhanur gives them both a chance to avenge the ones they loved, finish what they failed to do, and return to a normal life. *** Set in a fantasized bronze age India featuring LGBT female leads. Told in an omniscient pov with glances into multiple characters. This is my first book even if I've been working on it for a while but I hope you can all still find some enjoyment and take a break from everything happening in the world. Remember to work on your dreams. :)
