《Tempered Edge》Kinda important update

Whew. I'm done with the groundwork for the second volume of Tempered, but I haven't recovered from all of the writing and stuff. So instead of giving you the thing you actually came here for (volume 2 chapter 1) I'll give you some side stories instead, yet!
I'll only be uploading two though:
A sloths memories - this one goes into how Tony and Camila were like before chapter 1. Plus there's some other lore stuff I shoved in there.
The second one will be called Regretful decisions. This one will delve into Kiochi's past a little and there'll be some more lore stuff.
Now, on to the juicy bits. I plan on resuming Tempered Edge on the thirtieth of April. That should give me the time I need.

This a dark fantasy, but it also has sprinklings of humor throughout. It is a multi-cast, multi-pov story. In many ways, it is a melding of one of my favorite novels, “The Stand”, with my favourite genre, LitRPG. I don’t espouse to be anywhere near Stephen King, but I would like to think that I have succeeded in many areas here (you’ll be the judge of that). So, this thriller-style story has a lot of build-up and lots of drama. When it hits the 100-page mark, it starts to take off with some intense action and fight scenes (although there are battles long before that). Nothing comes easy for this group of rescuers. And the dangers are very real. This saga is already over 100 chapters with more to come. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to your reviews, comments, and feedback. Thanks. (The Eight Years arc is something that was designed to be written in a way where people don't have to feel the need to go back to the very beginning of the Dark Lands story in order to know what is going on or who the characters are.)
