Josaline walks into the room and begins to look for Candice.

JOSALINE

This is impossible! There's only one exit! Where could she have gone?!

Without Josaline noticing, the room door begins to slowly move. Candice is behind the door and is pushing it carefully to make sure the door does not make a sound. She quietly closes the door without Josaline noticing. She slowly and quietly makes her way to Josaline and slaps both of Josaline's ears, temporarily incapacitating Josaline and making her dizzy. Afterwards, Candice leg sweeps Josaline to the ground. She stands up and looks at Josaline while she was still a little dazed from the attack.

JOSALINE

W...What happened?

Josaline starts to see clearly and notice Candice standing over her, staring at her.

JOSALINE

Candice?!

CANDICE

Shut up!

Candice kneels down and punches Josaline in the face, knocking her unconscious.

CANDICE

Just be lucky I'm nice enough to let you live.

KINDRA

To bad I'm not.

Candice looks to where she heard the voice. She sees Kindra by the room's entrance with an emotionless expression.

CANDICE

You!

Candice stands up.

KINDRA

It's been a while, hasn't it? I'm sure you remember me, but just in case you don't, I'll introduce myself. I'm Kindra...assistant to Albert Breao.

CANDICE

Spare me the details...I know who you are. What do you want?

KINDRA

What do I want? I just came back to make sure Josaline's carrying out the order I assigned to her. Apparently, she is unable to do her job properly, but I do thank you for punishing her for me.

CANDICE

If she learned from you, I guess you don't know how to do your job properly either. Do I need to punish you as well?

KINDRA

Me...not doing my job properly? How ridiculous?

Kindra fixes her glasses before disappearing. Candice begins to frantically look around to find Kindra.

CANDICE

Where’d she go?!

Kindra reappears behind Candice.

KINDRA

What makes you think you can punish me?

Candice is surprised to notice Kindra behind her without being able to track her movements.

CANDICE

What the...!?

Candice throws a back swing at Kindra, but Kindra avoids the attack by ducking. She quickly gets close and personal to Candice to the point where their faces are inches away from each other.

KINDRA

I think you have me confused with someone else.

Candice quickly jumps back, away from Kindra, but ends up tripping over Josaline's body. She falls to the ground on her back.

CANDICE

Owww!

KINDRA

And now you're tripping over bodies. You must have bad coordination.

CANDICE

SHUT UP!

Candice quickly stands up.

CANDICE

You don't know anything about me!

KINDRA

Does it matter? You're going to die anyway.

CANDICE

Oh yeah? What makes you think that?

KINDRA

Because I said so.

CANDICE

You don't decide whether a person lives or dies. You don't have that right.

KINDRA

I have a question for you, little girl? If you are unable to keep up with my movements, how do you plan on defeating me?

CANDICE

YOU'RE NOT INVINCIBLE!

Candice charges toward Kindra, but Kindra disappears again and reappears right in front of Candice. Kindra grabs Candice by the neck and lifts her up with one hand.

KINDRA

I don't need to be when going against you.

CANDICE

Let...go…of…me!

KINDRA

With pleasure.

Kindra releases Candice and quickly kicks her in the stomach. Candice flies back and crashes into the wall in the hallway. Candice falls to the ground and unconscious. Kindra walks over to Candice and stands in front of her.

KINDRA

Guess you weren't much of a challenge after all.

Suddenly, a bright light starts emitting from Candice.

KINDRA

Huh?

Candice begins to glow brighter.

KINDRA

I see. So you have that within you.

Candice slowly stands up and Kindra takes a step back. Candice opens her eyes to reveal eyes being black without pupils.

KINDRA

That's quite interesting.

Candice swings at Kindra, but Kindra avoids the attack by jumping back away from Candice.

KINDRA

(She's gotten faster.)

Candice charges toward Kindra and begins throwing a barrage of punches, but Kindra easily avoids each attack. Candice throws a kick at Kindra, but Kindra avoids the kick by doing a backflip. Before Kindra could finish her back flip, Candice grabs one of Kindra’s legs with both of her hands.

KINDRA

What?!

Candice throws Kindra at the wall with extreme power behind her throw.

KINDRA

(Her strength increased as well!)

Kindra maneuvers her body and lands on the wall with her feet. The wall cracks from the force of the landing. She jumps off the wall, heading straight for Candice. Kindra disappears, Candice to look around the room for her.

KINDRA'S VOICE

You have to do better than that, little girl.

Kindra reappears behind Candice and throws a kick towards Candice, but she avoids the kick by jumping over her leg. Candice attempts to grab Kindra, but Kindra quickly kicks Candice in the face with her other leg. Candice flies back and crashes into the wall. Before Candice could hit the ground, Kindra quickly reappears in front of Candice and pins Candice to the wall with her arm. Candice is struggling to break free.

KINDRA

You're not going anywhere.

Kindra quickly pulls out a syringe and sticks it into Candice's neck. Candice starts to calm down and relax. Her eyes stop glowing and revert back to normal before falling unconscious. Kindra releases Candice and Candice falls to the ground.

KINDRA

My calculations about you were wrong.

Kindra kneels down to Candice and she brushes her own hair from her face. Her cell phone begins to rings and she answers it.

KINDRA

Yes? - I apologize, Mr. Breao. I got distracted and had to take care of it immediately. - The distraction has been dealt with, sir. - Yes, sir. On my way.

Kindra hangs up her cell phone and puts it in her pocket. She grabs onto Candice's leg and stands up.

KINDRA

You're coming with me, little girl. We have something planned for you.

Kindra begins to walk down the hallway while dragging Candice by her leg. But then, she stops and looks at the room they were in.

KINDRA

Huh?

Kindra notice Josaline lying in the room, unconscious.

KINDRA

I forgot about you.

Kindra drops Candice's leg and walks over to where Josaline.

KINDRA

I'll take you with me as well.

Kindra grabs Josaline by the hair and walks out of the room, dragging Josaline. Kindra grabs Candice's leg once more and begins to walk down the hallway, dragging both Candice and Josaline. While Kindra is dragging the two down the hallway, someone is further down the hallway, in the shadows, spying on Kindra. She passes them without noticing their presence. Afterwards, they begin to follow her.
