Korn starts running towards the boy.

Korn gets close to the boy and started tickling him.

Korn falls in range and the boy punches Korn in the face, making Korn fly into a tree, knocking him unconscious. Afterwards, the boy turns around and looks at the rest of Korn’s crew.

The rest of Korn's crew runs away.

Candice looks away with a worried look on her face. Jerome became curious.

CANDICE

CANDICE

While I was walking to school, a group of guys stopped me and prevented me from going anywhere, unless I gave them money.

CANDICE

Anyway, some guy came and rescued me. He beat up Korn and the rest of his crew and scared them away.

Jerome begins to laugh uncontrollably again.

You got beat up by a little kid named Korn.

Candice gets annoyed.

JEROME

Candice and Jerome fist bumped each other.

Candice stops blushing.

Jerome walks to the room’s entrance.

CANDICE

He stops and turns his head in Candice's direction with a smile on his face.

JEROME

Don’t worry, Candice. I’ll be fine.

Jerome faces away from Candice.

CANDICE

Jerome leaves the classroom.

CANDICE

(8 hours later)

Candice is walking home from school.

CANDICE

I'm glad school is over. Now I can go home and get some rest. (But still, I’m worried about Jerome. I hope he’s OK.)

Candice hears a noise coming from an ally way that she was walking pass. She stops to take a look.

CANDICE

What was that noise just now?

Candice proceeds to walk through the alley way.

Hello? Is anyone here?

As Candice walks, she sees someone lying on the ground. She cautiously makes her way to the individual.

CANDICE

Ummm...are you OK?

As she gets closer, realizes the individual is Jerome.

CANDICE

JEROME!

Jerome was beaten half to death with blood steadily spilling from the right side of his body.

CANDICE

Jerome! Speak to me!

JEROME

Jerome slowly opens his eyes to see Candice.

CANDICE

It’s me, Jerome. Don’t push yourself.

JEROME

Jerome starts coughing and grabs his side because of the pain.

CANDICE

JEROME

I’m… sorry… Candice. I should have not… overreacted earlier. I… was wrong.

CANDICE

Don’t apologize. You wasn’t wrong. You had every right to overreact. It wasn’t my business to get involved with. I should be the one who’s sorry.

JEROME

CANDICE

Candice notice the pool of blood getting bigger.

CANDICE

(Jerome is losing a lot of blood.) Don’t talk anymore, Jerome. Save your strength. We got to get you to the hospital.

JEROME

CANDICE

Candice attempts to lift Jerome, but the pain was too much for Jerome to bare. Jerome grabs his side again and began to lose more blood, rapidly.

CANDICE

Candice quickly turns to the alley way's exit.

CANDICE

SOMEONE CALL 911! ANYONE! PLEASE!

JEROME

Candice.

Candice quickly looks at Jerome and sees him smiling.

JEROME

CANDICE

No it’s no... It’s not ok!

Candice starts crying. Jerome puts his hand on Candice’s face and wipes her tears away.

JEROME

Don’t cry…Candice. You’ll ruin…that beautiful…face of yours.

CANDICE

But you’re dying...

JEROME

I know. I’m ready…to except…my fate.

CANDICE

But I’m not. I don’t want you to leave me.

JEROME

Jerome slowly puts his index finger on her forehead.

Jerome slowly puts his index finger on her chest.

CANDICE

JEROME

Candice grabs his hand and begins to cry more.

JEROME

Candice... I have… something… to tell you.

CANDICE

(Sniff) Yes.

JEROME

Always…be true…to yourself…and…never…stray away…from…you…dream.

Jerome's eyes closes and became unresponsive.

CANDICE

Jerome. Jerome! JEROOOOOME!

Candice embraced Jerome’s body and begins to cry more heavily.

(Flashback ends)

Captain Shoulder is choking Candice with one hand while having her suspended in the air.

CANDICE

Jerome... I'm...sorry.

Candice passes out from being choked by Captain Shoulder.

SHOULDER

She finally passed out, eh? About damn time! My arms was starting to hurt from holding her! Resilient little bitch, but all good things must come to an end!

Captain Shoulder starts laughing. Suddenly, Captain Shoulder witnesses a bright light emitting from Candice.

SHOULDER

What the hell's going on?

The light coming from Candice grows brighter and causes everyone in the room to pass out except Captain Shoulder.

SHOULDER

What's happening?! What did you do?!

With every second that goes by, Captain Shoulder becomes more and more frightened from the power that was growing inside of Candice.

SHOULDER

(This can't be happening. How is she doing this? This doesn't make sense. I have to do something before it's too late. You must die.) DIE!

Still holding Candice, he throws a punch at her face with all his might, but Candice stops Captain Shoulder punch with her hand.

SHOULDER

What?!

Candice slowly lifts her head. Candice's eyes are pitch black without pupils and she has a sinister smile to match.

SHOULDER

What the hell are you?!

Candice grabs the hand of Captain Shoulder that's choking her and squeezes it.

SHOULDER

Ahhhhhhh!

Captain Shoulder quickly lets go of Candice's neck.

SHOULDER

DAMN!

Candice makes Captain Shoulder fall to his knees..

SHOULDER

How are you so strong?!

Candice releases Captain Shoulder's hands and quickly kicks him in the chest, causing him to fly backwards.

SHOULDER

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Before Captain Shoulder hits the wall, Candice appears behind him and elbows him in the back, stopping him in his tracks and knocking him unconscious. Captain Shoulder fell to the ground, face first. Afterwards, Candice fell to the ground, unconscious. Soon after, she wakes up.

CANDICE

W...What happened?

She stands up, rubbing her head and sees everybody on the ground.

CANDICE

What happened here? The last thing I can remember is...

Candice has a flashback of being choked by Captain Shoulder.

CANDICE

Captain Shoulder!

She looks around and see Captain Shoulder on the ground beside her.

CANDICE

What is he doing on the ground?!

She looks at her hand.

CANDICE

She stops looking at her hand.

CANDICE

Whatever the case maybe, I have to get out of here.

Candice runs out of the building and onto the street to witness Zombies coming to her position from every direction.

CANDICE

Damn! There's nowhere to run.

Zombies are steadily getting closer and closer to Candice.

CANDICE

This is the end for me.

Candice closes her eyes and feels herself being swept off her feet and go into the air.

CANDICE

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

She opens her eyes to see her being carried by someone.

CANDICE
