Albion stepped inside to see the orphanage's compound. Seeing Hunters looking over. Black suits, chains and carrying swords.

"Hm? Who are you?" Albion continued on where Roland and Olivier snapped their necks.

"Director's looking a little too reckless, doesn't he?"

"Ironic since it's coming from you."

"Roland, Olivier. Follow me. The rest of you, there's a lot of intruders at the orphanage. Keep it clean. Put on your masks." They put on their presence distortion masks, shaped like a lynx skull for the rest but for Olivier it was an all white mask that contrasted Roland's black. They all left.

Albion took off his helmet, only wearing the black silence suit.

"How do you want to do this?"

"I don't know, Olivier. These guys fight dirty. Using hostages a lot more often." Roland was kneeling to look at the key hole, Olivier was just sighing and scratching his head to this sight.

"Three old guys beating up some lady. You can just.. You know, pillar it.. Olivier and I can make sure the people inside are safe. We did see your memories when you went away the other day. So we know what they all look like." Roland was just saying it with a smile but the eyes he had was something that made Albion nervous.

"Your Black Silence eyes is scary Roland."

"Ah, guess. I can't help it. I am pissed too." Albion chuckled as he used a pillar. Launching it straight through the that crushed the bodies of three men.

"Who in the!?" Albion stepped in as he tightened his gloves. Putting on his black lynx skull as the dust cleared up, drawing out a chain sword as it started to rev up loudly. Olivier and Roland went over to kick the guys out.

"Hey now, don't traumatize the kids. They need to know that big brother Albion isn't going to be all scary now can they." Roland teased while Olivier merely had to grumble his thoughts away as Roland went into the rooms to clear out of any remaining figures. Olivier turned to the lady, helping her up on her feet.

"Thank you but... Who are you?"

"We're Albion's allies. Please rest assured that this will be over soon." Olivier said as he turned outside, Albion was beating most of them up with a baseball bat instead. The screaming noises and sounds of bones breaking was an omen for those guys.

"Can't help but feel sorry for them." Roland spoke up as he walked out with blood drenched on his black suit.

Outside, Albion was kneeling by the ring leader who had his twisted in unnatural places. Using his healing spell to fix the limbs.

"Tell your boss this place is off limits." The men got up, running into the cars as Albion turned to the others who came back with blood on their clothes. Yet the blood began to ooze out of their bodies, making its way to beneath Albion's heels. With everything out of the way, Albion went inside. Taking off his mask.

"Albion?"

"It's me Sister Andrea." The lady ran straight to give him a tight hug, crying over his shoulders. Albion turned to the children who were present, running to him.

"How much do you owe the Dust Pipers?"

"About 20 million.. Albion. What... What happened to you?" She held his cheek but Albion's face didn't react to it.

"I went missing for a while. These people helped me get back here. Do you have any spare rooms?" Albion asked as Sister Andrea looked at the guests. There was quite a number of them.

"Oh... I.. I don't think we'd have enough room." She was surprised by the number, even more surprising was how the kids approached Yan.

"Hey! Hey! Are you a Hunter?"

"Yes. I am a Hunter."

"Wow that's cool! You've got such a large sword!" The other children were tugging Argalia's hand. The girls wanted to play with the gray haired sister, referencing Angelica who humored them.

"The Fourth Pack will stay on guard for now. For accommodations, we have our sleeping bags that we can use to sleep in. Just tell us when it's time for chow." Nikolai said as her men began to guard the perimeter. The kids were braiding Argalia's hair while Roland was laughing at the sight.Olivier went over to help Sister Andrea with the kitchen. Ryn was outside with Nikolai enjoying a cigarette break. The boys were admiring Yan's sword.

Some of the kids were taking a look at the Rhinos who were walking about, hiding from the Rhinos sight like a game. Truly to those who were from the Library, this world is truly different when compared to where they were from. Roelica was helping the girls tie up her uncle's hair much to Argalia's chagrin but even then. The children were just braiding his hair into a fish tail.

This peacefulness had even confused the Fourth Pack, that ended up sitting down with their weapons to their shoulders. Their very gaze was enough to scare anything. Even breaking drones with a mere gaze. Something that Albion had not understood for a while.

"Hey we got food ready!" Sister Andrea said as the Rhinos took off their suits. Beneath them, they were just tall and muscular beings in skin tight suits. Where Nikolai threw them a bag of clothes to put on. So they wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. Just stepping inside as they joined in on the meals.

The kids wanted to sit next to Argalia, Angelica and Yan. Roelica could only chuckle with the idea while Roland looked at Olivier who was helping out serving dishes. It was just soup and bread, but they ate it full heartedly. Albion was enjoying the sight as he was talking to Sister Andrea outside.

"Albion.. What.. What happened?"

"I went to a place. Stuck there for a while to get stronger. Don't worry. I'll sort out the trouble with Dust Pipes later. Tomorrow, they're all going out for Dungeon Raids.Since they're at least B Rank and higher. They can get some good jobs."

"Then you're still F-ranked?"

"Yeah but it's fine. They can handle it." Albion said while Sister Andrea looked a little concerned. Tomorrow, all of them are going on their first raid and it was going to be interesting. Albion scrapped some money to get them phones to help them navigate to the location.

The next day came along as Yan headed out first. Making his way according to the directions he had, looking at the phone as he wandered around the city. To many the sight of such a cute Hunter must have been one for words, Yan found a photo of himself on the internet, an article that spoke of his powers.

'The Heroes of Bernadalia District.' The headline read simply, but whoever that took the photos must have been doing a good job. Seeing Yan with his greatsword, cleaving a werewolf in half. Yan continued to trot about, asking for help on where to go to the location. Heading down to the subway, showing his Hunter License and taking a seat. When a pregnant lady appeared, Yan offered to give his seat.

People were staring at Yan because of his all white hair and the fact that he kept his eyes closed.

"Hey isn't that one of the Heroes of Bernadalia?"

"That sword is like 3 quarters of him. How does he use it?"

Gossips were being traded, Yan heard them all but in a way it was refreshing. He was going somewhere out of his own decision, not to deliver prescripts and watch people follow them. No need to hear people scream from the prescripts nor did he have to hear the chaos that Prescripts always brought. Spaghetti with nails, people cutting each other's insides.

This place's peacefulness made Yan want to learn more about it. When Yan arrived at his stop, he headed over to the target location. A place that was called university, Yan looked around to see the portal which had a few bags down there.

"Hey, you! White hair!" Yan turned to see a Hunter walking over, a burly and tall figure.

"This is the Black Viper's dungeon! Hands off!" Yan turned to the unzipped bags, it looks like there was a case of a few people who went missing.

"Are you not going in?'

"Heh. Why going to save those people? They're just bait anyway."

"I see. So you won't have an issue if I step in?"

"We just said that this is the Black Viper's dungeon! We just bought this! So just fuck off and leave! Brats like you don't know anything!" The Hunter grabbed Yan by the collar, trying to lift Yan up from the ground.

"Hey! Mills! What's wrong?!"

"I... I can't lift this guy up!" Yan grabbed the Hunter's hand, adding a bit of pressure to force the Hunter to let go off his hand.

"I was assigned to take care of this." Yan showed his A-Rank Hunter card as he went inside the portal. They backed off at seeing Yan stepping into it. Seeing the green skinned titans, if memory serves. They were Orcs. Yan turned to the survivors, only about 10 of them were remaining.

"I'm sorry I'm late." Yan apologized as he used 'Distorted Blade' to crush the formation of orcs in front of the survivors, then moving in to face them in close quarters combat. Using 'Unlock 0' to increase his damage, punching them back as he swung his great sword at five orcs. A clean sweeping attack that separated the torsos and the waists.

An orc swung its axe down, Yan stepped aside to dodge it. Running up the arm as he slashed the head away, and when an Orc got close to a survivor, Yan's six hands appeared. One grabbing the head, crushing it. The orcs focused their attention to Yan, the sword of volition in his hand. Yan was not going to hesitate, he was going to rip and tear through them.

Dancing with death, slashing dozens of the orcs. The blood splashed over his clothes, his skill as an Index Messenger was present and he was not going to let all of that experience go to waste. He wasn't fighting for the Index. He wasn't fighting for the Prescript. It was his own choice, that was what mattered to Yan.

Opening his eyes that began to trail gold over his side, as he leaped back to the survivors. The floating metal hands that were kept close by the chains of his hands. Yan released the lock, watching the six hands transform into armored figure wielding greatswords. Charging ahead to strike through the orcs while Yan took the moment to catch his breath.

Something he wanted to do, something that he wasn't bound to do. That was a start at least. The orcs were taking a beating from Yan's newly made hands. Scoring the orcs with their blade techniques, mimicking Yan's swordsmanship style. The height difference made them more sturdy, even Yan watched how they mirrored his techniques. Perfecting movement and dodges that were minimal, dodging constant attacks by the Orcs. Yet they were still on course, swinging their blades.

Only mere sounds of metal rattling from the movements were heard, while Yan readied to use 'Distorted Blade' to unleash the blade attacks from above to crush the remaining orcs. The armored knights leaped back over to Yan, transforming back to the six metal hands that began to open up to protect the survivors. Open palms that intercepted the blows from axes, clubs and hammers alike. Readying his 'Distorted Blade' to crush the remaining ones.

The portal opened up, as Hunters and Hunter Association agents made their way in seeing the remains where they looked at Yan who swung the blood off his blade. Placing it over his back, walking to the portal as a Hunter stopped him.

"You know you took over another Hunter's mission right?" A Hunter said to Yan who merely smiled in response.

"If the Hunters were faster. A lot of civilians wouldn't have died." Yan said as he walked out with the metal hands holding the mana cores.

"The rest of it will be yours. I'm only taking what I can get to make some money."

"If you wanted to make a lot of money, why not join our guild?"

"I'd prefer it if I didn't join a guild that I like." Yan said as he left, where he went outside to bring the mana cores to sell to the Association. Getting roughly a few hundred thousand for it. With that done, the survivors went to talk to Yan. Thanking him for saving them, Yan merely smiled as he left.

Taking the subway back to the orphanage, seeing the kids play tag with the Rabbits. The Rabbit members were going easy, letting the kids tag them and chasing after them in a playful fashion. Something that many would think impossible. Some of the kids just like to sit on the shoulders of a Rhino member. The Reindeers were joining in the game of tag, in a way to improve their close quarter combat skills. Where the Rabbits would poke a Reindeer's helmet as they continued to speed around them.

"What did you do today, Yan?"

"I went hunting." Yan said as he patted their heads, the kids in the orphanage ran back to Sister Andrea and Albion.

"How was it Yan?"

"It was fine. I manage to get some money. Sister Andrea." Yan passed her the suitcase of money for her to look at.

"That's... That's a lot."

"So what about the others?" Yan asked.

"Roland went out with Olivier and Angelica to register our Guild. The Lynx Office. Roelica is off with Argalia to go on another mission. Thanks for the help Yan. Was it difficult?"

"No. It was... Different. Whenever I was a Messenger... People would be frightened when I appear. But it seems here. The rules are different. I wish to protect these people. From when I was unable to do so because I was powerless." Yan spoke, his voice despite being sweet and gentle was hiding a conviction that few would know.

A breath of fresh air being said out loud, it was like Albion was looking at a mirror. Though he may not truly understand or dared to ask much about Yan in the first place but, at the very least. He was able to see things for what they are.
