Albion clashed against Roelica first, both of them were using the scythes. He had strength but she? She had technique, a slight shift in movement where Albion lost his balance. Roelica swung her scythe to Albion's arm, he raised his fist. Pushing the attack away as the blade left a scratch on his armored gloves.
"Not bad. You need more training!" Roelica shouted as she went for the assault, while Albion was on the defensive. He had to switch out the scythe for another weapon. Normally a scythe would be difficult to use and it can be dangerous towards the user but a master of it would be dangerous. Roelica was one such master, Albion had to keep his distance for a bit. Grabbing Myo's submachine gun that was slung to his back. Firing off a few shots, and true enough. She is related to Argalia, so bullets don't work as well on her.
Even with the damage negating pages, Albion was a little unsure of how this fight will turn out. Fervent Beats is a trump card but it can be a double edged sword.
"Learning." Albion whispered as he used a pillar on her. Roelica sliced the pillar in half, guess Albion is going to need to step it up. He only had Myo's short swords. Two weapons against a scythe, Albion didn't like those odds but he needed to try what he can do. 'Graze the Grass' closing the gap to strike twice at Roelica. She kicked Albion, who crossed his arms to block it. Skidding a few steps. Then seeing Roelica ready a rifle, firing off a shot. Where Albion raised a pillar to block it. Diving out to the right as he used 'Fairy', unleashing a wave of light attacks where Roelica backflipped, dodging the first. Then a step to the right, watching her rifle swap to a pair of shotguns. Firing at the pillar where Albion could see the chunks of damage from the assault itself.
Yan was engaged with Blue Reverberation, the great sword clashed with the scythe.
"Fancy seeing you here, Index."
"It is good to see you Blue Reverberation." Yan pushed back using Unlock 0 to strike a jab at Argalia who narrowly dodged it.
"I think it's best if two Distortions used their powers, don't you?" Two large metal hands appeared, with nails sharp as claws, floating by Yan's side, bound by chains to the elbows. His appearance did not change but Yan opened his eyes that began to glow in gold.
Argalia changed, his scythe's blade turned a pale blue while his skin turned into blue. Save for his face as his eyes glowed like sapphire gems, with his footsteps leaving trails of gray smoke. Yan used Distorted Blade to force Argalia to a box, while his metal hands began to supplement Yan's attacks, keeping Argalia in the distance, now swinging his sword of volition. Black tar like liquid began to spread across with each swing. Argalia landed on one hand and when the other attempted to go for a heavy strike. Argalia kicked the hand off course.
Smiling to Yan as he dashed to close the gap. Slapped away by the hand that had been sent off course, Argalia recovered by flipping in the air. Swinging the scythe at Yan despite the distance. One hand stopped the attacks, Yan could see the damage inflicted.
"It seems we both have new abilities. Thank you for being my sparing partner." Yan said with a bow where Argalia landed on his feet did the same.
"This is truly interesting, and it is merely the intro. Let us play a beautiful melody!" Argalia charged at Yan who intercepted it with the great sword. An upward swing where Argalia canceled his swing, running up by the edge of the sword as Yan sent him flying. The floating metal hands returned to Yan's side as Yan dashed backwards, avoiding the oncoming waves of blue blades to his path.

Roland was going at it with Olivier, durandal clashing with Olivier's combat spear. A confrontation as they both looked at each other's faces.
"Round 2? You sure you want to go against me? You lost the last time!" Roland raised his voice, only to be kicked back by Olivier's augury kicks with the black layer formed to his legs.
"You're still reckless Roland." Roland swapped to a pair of pistols, firing off shots while Olivier dodged them with ease. Roland grinned.
"As expected of a friend. If you got shot then your skills are rusty. Seems like guns are useless to you too, but that's why I have this!" Roland rushed forward with the lance, Olivier took the blow head on as his right arm punched Roland back. Where Roland blocked it when his gloves turned into a pair of gauntlets.
"Nice try!" Roland charged in with his katana from Mook Workshop, Olivier responded with using one of the three trigrams. Breaking the attack completely as he kicked Roland back.
"Roland. I'm not fighting you for vengeance or for anything as petty as that. I'm glad you're alive."
"Heh, really now? That kick sure hurt.." Roland coughed as he blew the blood off his nose and coughed a bit out from his mouth. Smiling back at Olivier who kept a stern face.
"That was just for the last time you won. you can do better than that. Don't fight to lose Roland. Valor without forethought is little more than a bluff, and there is more strength in discretion than recklessness."
"Going back to that advice. What do you want me to say that you're right?"
"No. Just thinking about those old times when we were in Charles." Olivier said as Roland readied the axe and mace.
"Maybe this time. We can go back there, unless I get booked!" Olivier and Roland charged at one another, unleashing fast fury strikes.
Angelica was facing off with Ryn in a gun fight. Both of their bullets were either crashing into each other or going off target. They were running at each other as they fired. Attempting to get close as Angelica readied her mace and axe. Swinging it at Ryn who focused on swiping the handles off course so the attacks wouldn't hit. A jab to Angelica's face where she retaliated with a headbutt that pushed Ryn back a step. Swinging the mace downwards as Ryn jumped back to dodge the attack.
"Pleasure to meet you, Black Silence."
"Thank you.. Miss?"
"Ryn Sherwood. I was a Grade 1 Fixer. I worked with an office down in the south. Well, used to. Now I'm captain of the Keter floor. Also.. Thanks."
Angelica tilted her head with a puzzled look on her face. Trying to understand the reason behind Ryn's words.
"I don't think you'd remember but you took on a certain threat to the city by the 8 Chefs. You helped save my family from dying that day. They live in a wing and my brother is working a good job. At least that's what I heard."
"You're welcome.. But as you can see. This may not be time to chat."
"Yeah, just wanted to get that out of the way. It's not like me to get so fucking sentimental." Ryn said as she scratched her head, then putting on a pair of gray gloves.
"Ah. Dimensional Gloves. So you have them too?"
"Yeah. Something a friend of mine gave before he died." Ryn pulled out a pair of sabers, holding them in reverse hand fashion.
"It keeps my pistols, my shotguns, my sabers and a baseball bat. Funny isn't it?"Ryn said as she gave chase to Angelica who readied her short swords from Crystal Atelier to block it. The hand guard had a blocky shape to it. Angelica heard a click, where she backed off. Seeing Ryn conjoin the blades together, wielding it with one hand thanks to the conjoined hilt.
Angelica swapped out for the shotgun, firing off a blast where Ryn dodged it, then getting close whereby Ryn went for a wide swing, Angelica used her great sword to take the impact, but it caused her feet to skid back a few steps.
"We need to fight to our best. Black Silence. If you falter. You'll be booked." Angelica fought on with great stride, her swing with the great sword cracked the floor.
The fight raged on between both sides, Yan and Argalia had plenty of close calls with one another, Olivier kept the advantage over Roland, Ryn was losing her composure in the fight with Angelica. A difference in experience. Albion was barely holding his ground against Roelica, trying to get three hits onto her was tough.
Roland, Angelica, Roelica and Argalia stepped back. Standing by each other's side, where they gave a nod to each other. Olivier went to help Ryn up while Yan brought Albion back on his feet.
"Damn. There's still a difference? I thought I could do this."
"We're looking at two coloured fixers, a grade 1 and another potential grade 1 fixer. This fight wasn't supposed to be easy." Albion clenched his fists as he struggled to stand. He was not going to give up, getting back on his feet as he used magic to recover his bodily injuries. Using a healing wave to heal the other librarians too.
"Furioso!" Angelica, Roland and Roelica shouted as they see them beginning their counter attack.
"Crescendo!" A relentless assault was beginning as Albion used Fervent Beats. Now he had one card in his hand, Furioso in his hands and he had left a somewhat 4 vibrations against Roelica, but he couldn't get the stagger because of the requirement for 3 consecutive attacks.
Albion continued to unleash pillars, forming a tunnel. Keeping them moving to a direction. The pillars that were spiraling were going to crack from the intensity of the attacks.
"Yan get your hands ready, I'm going to get them into the tunnel! Ryn, Olivier. Get ready for the intercept!" Albion clasped his hands together where he watched the pillars shatter. The Four guests were divebombing down with their special attacks shattering the pillars that Albion had made into dust but he still had one card up in his trick.
"Furioso!" Albion used the technique to counter all three of them from hitting Olivier and Ryn. The three of them kept the four guests busy as they looked up to see hands crashing down. Three fast strikes thanks to the bionic scythes, staggering them all together.
"Chain!"
"Lock!" Yan and Albion had tied Argalia and Angelica, where Olivier went with True Trigram formation. Breaking Roland's furioso and finishing it up with Impugnatio Ultima, sending Roland away. Where Roland and Roelica had pillars that crushed them. Argalia broke free, going after Albion. Yan took the counter, kicking Argalia upwards. Then leaping downwards in a spinning spiral to slash Argalia down. Albion's Fervent Beats and the stagger from Pulsation had kicked in. He was staggered for the rest of the fight as Angelica impaled Albion's chest, where he smiled. The staggered meant that Albion could not move at all.
Ryn got the last blow on Angelica. Slashing her back and impaling her chest.
What will you do with them?
You may book them to gain their pages.
Or
Will you pick the path to unlock the Patron Librarian with his family?
"Re... Reunite them." Albion said as he felt his consciousness fade.
Opening his eyes in the lobby, where he could see Roland sorting out books.
"Hello there, Library Director." Roland greeted, Albion was wearing briefs. His body had been bandaged. Looking over to the table where the table had grown in size and chairs that would fit all of them.
"Library Director?"
"That's your title. You've gotten Roland, the Patron Librarian back. So he's here with his family. You didn't book them, so yeah." Ryn said casually while Albion got up on his feet, walking to the table. Seeing Olivier, Argalia and Angelica training Roelica with their weapons.
"Thanks for not booking us. I'm grateful because I got to see the light of my life again, and knowing that I have a daughter who could grew up like that. Makes we wonder if there was another choice." Roland said where Albion shook his head.
"It gave me a choice. I couldn't save my family. I don't know what happened to yours in the world you all were in, but... If I had the chance to get my family back. I'd be grateful but I think it'll be difficult if I saw them alive."
"Whoa..Whoa. Don't get too dark now but thanks. When I lost them, I was filled with my anger and sorrow. But there's also something new. We got a training area in the lobby, we got a reception desk. Where Pinocchio is sorting it out. And uh... Don't be surprised bout that." Albion looked to the right, seeing the lungs of craving push books in and the heart of aspiration pushing a tray.
"So if they're here. Where's bloodbath?" Bloodbath appeared, placing its hand on Albion's shoulder. Healing his wounds. Then it had fingers to show a thumbs up.
"Thanks, bloodbath." The being nodded, then continuing to move around. Now helping the heart of aspiration with books.
"Oh by the way. The Library asked if I want to give you my page. You'll have access to the weapons I use. Or you can use the crafting bench to add a function to it." Roland said as he continued to keep watch over Roelica. Olivier was walking over to take a break.
"How'd she do?"
"She's a lot more hot headed than you are but she can use my skills well. Shifting from the Trigrams without hesitation. She's got Angelica's calm head but your tenacity and Argalia's enjoyment for cutting down targets." Olivier said as he high fived Roland who put on his gloves.
"Director? You want my page?"
"If you, Angelica and Roelica allow it. I'd like to have it."
"You need their blessings too?" Albion shook his head.
"It's more like. Isn't this combat style something like an heirloom? It feels weird if I take it."
"Got a point there. Hey Angelica! Roelica!" They stopped the fight as Argalia turned to look over to what was the commotion.
"The Director said he'll only take the Black Silence Page if you give him your blessings!"
"He can take it!" Roelica responded.
"Why's he asking that? Doesn't he only need your blessing?"
"I don't know, Your Majesty. He said this combat style is an heirloom!" Roland shouted back where Argalia snickered, seeing Angela laughing to that sound.
"He can have it! We're in the middle of training our daughter here, Roland! Come on!" Roland turned to Albion.
"I hope that answers your question." Roland went off, joining his family to train Roelica. Oliver looked at Albion with a nod.

Albion thought about it, seeing Roland coming back with Roelica who was triumphant. Roland and Angelica seemed a bit distraught perhaps the idea of the parent being outdone by the child was something that had never occurred.
A photo fell from the ceiling, where Argalia picked it up. Immediately running after Roland and Angelica.
"What's this?" Roland immediately turned to Olivier.
"Olivier! Get your butt over here!"
"What's the rush?"
"Just get over here!" Angelica shouted as Olivier grumbled his way to them. To see what the fuss was about, it was a photo of them. All of them wearing suits at Roelica's university graduation ceremony. The photo faded away, where Roelica went to take her seat.
Memory has been synchronized. Now they also have the memories of their time as a family.
"Little Blue!" Argalia shouted as Roelica turned to them, seeing her parents and her two doting uncles in tears.
"Do... Do you remember?" They ran straight at her, a tight hug.
"I'll make sure to never let you go, kiddo. I'll make sure of it." Roland muttered out loud as the others spoke up, their overprotectiveness was being shown.
Yan smiled as Albion joined him for a seat.
"I'm glad at least someone has the happy ending."
"Wish it was yours?" Yan nodded, despite his eyes being closed and the forced smile. Albion could see Yan's hands shaking with jealousy.
"It's okay, Yan. I'd be jealous too." The trembling of Yan's hands ceased, as he turned to Albion with a nod. Perhaps they both understood this sensation. The sensation of longing and the grief of their past.
The others joined them at the table, where a sandwich came down from the ceiling. It was the hamhampangpang that people talked about.
"Hamhampangpang!" Roland and Roelica were the first to express their joy as they began to dig in. Albion wanted to ask Roland about what he thought on the R Corp but it may take some time before he could do it. They began to chat all about each other, asking questions about what will they do next?
"Why not come to my world?"
"Is that allowed?" Angelica was the skeptical one among the group.
"Yeah. I can always just say you're humans who went missing in the dungeons. Most of the records have gone missing anyway. A lot of records and government data was lost and we've got missing people who've never been reported as missing come back." Albion answered where Roland was also skeptical about that.
"It's a peaceful world, aside from the usual monsters that come in from time to time. We don't have Fixers but we do have Hunters. They go into dungeons, kill things and make money out of it." The others were thinking about it.
"Roland. I have a question?"
"Shoot." Pinocchio came to pick up the plates, trotting off to clean up the dishes.
"It says here. I can summon R Corp's members. The Rabbits, the Reindeer, the Rhino and Nikolai to join us... What do you think about them?"
"They're a handful. We had to fought against them twice. They clone their soldiers."
"That's a violation of the city's rules." Olivier snapped as he clenched his fists.
"That's why they wanted the W Corp books we had. Those books hold secrets that if got leaked out. Might destroy W Corp if it was revealed. Not that it matters since we're not in the city's grasp anymore. But the rule is 7 days, not more than one clone can exist. So they have death matches to determine which clone survives." Roland said as he looked at Yan and Ryn.
"Well. If you want a team that's good at combat. They'd be your best option." Ryn said.
"You know them Ryn?"
"By reputation and that they're exclusive with their contracts. I don't know how they'll react if you call them out." Ryn said as she got up. The others did the same, readying their weapons.
Albion was going to do it.
Summon R Corp?
"Yes."
A bright light shined upon the lobby, where they see figures clad in armor. Glowing red eyes.
"This looks like the library. Didn't we get booked?" Maxim spoke up, looking around in confusion. Nikolai saw Bloodbath, drawing the blade to charge at it. Stopped by Albion.
"Who are you and what the hell are you doing with an abnormality?!"
"Check your windows. Blood thirsty idiots." Roland said as they looked at the menu pop up.
Greetings R Corp. Fourth Pack.
I am System.
This Library is one and the same but not the same to the one where you have been booked.
You have been called to serve the Library.
The new Library Director stands before you.
The world as you know it does not exist.
As you know how to suppress abnormalities.
You will be needed in the upcoming battle.
If you do not wish to serve as the Librarian's Suppression Unit. You will be reverted.
The Library Director comes from a world where monsters exist.
To which the ones in the entire room was filled with visions. They were seeing Albion fighting an orc, stabbing its eye out. Getting thrown aside, firing a shot to the orc's head with the revolver. Then another scene, where a dragon was breathing fire and Albion hid behind cover. Reloading his revolver. Looking at a dead Hunter's corpse in front of him. Equipped with a grenade launcher, Albion grabbed it as he fired off smoke and flash grenades at the dragons. Then running in ahead as he leaped to the dragon's eye, stabbing it. Then firing into the other eye.
"Now!" They watched as Hunters charged in to take care of the issue while the dragon frenzied in pain, launching Albion into a wall. Where he broke a few ribs, another Hunter grabbed him to bring Albion back to the medical care center. The vision ended as the librarians and the R Corp members turned to each other. Questioning if what they had seen was real?
The abnormality in the next battle.
The Snow Queen. Is not quite like how Roland remembers it.
It will freeze teammates but the primary issue.
Is that it has now raised an army to combat against you.
Which is why there is a need for the R Corp to be available.
R Corp Fourth pack, Myo has seen Snow Queen before.
However, even with Myo and Roland's knowledge.
This abnormality battle will be a battlefield.
"Fourth Pack. Any objections?!"
"No ma'am!" Nikolai turned to Albion, sheathing her large scimtar.
"We'll follow your lead. Since we're not bound by the rules we go by."
"Myo, Roland. We need a strategy prep. System, can we see the terrain?"
Showing terrain map.
They see the entire floor glow, where the center began to light up. Showing the terrain of the area. The Snow Queen was at the edge of the right area. The left area is where the Librarians will start.
"Roland. How does this abnormality work?"
"She freezes the entire team. Except for the Patron Librarian. It's safe to say that it might just be you and me who won't be affected. Her Prison of Ice is tough but you can attack it until it shatters to bring up the other Librarians."
"Nikolai. Roland and myself will be placed on the front lines. We need heavy hitters."
"Maxim and the Rhinos will take care of that. Break Maxim first, then let him handle the rest. The army's a big question mark. I'd prefer my intel to have more intel. Myo, what's this abnormality's like?"
"She's a combat type. She uses her blades to attack but if this is going to be a war. It might be something else that we'll be facing. Back during L Corp's contracts with us, she didn't breach." Albion kept quiet for a moment.
"Ice elementals!" Albion spoke up.
It seems you're quite quick on the uptake..
"Excuse me, what?" Ryn was the first to ask.
"Project my knowledge on ice elemental type units. "
Projecting.
It showed, Ice Trolls, Ice skeletons, ice knights and ice dragons.
"Ice type enemies. They'll take significant damage to burn attacks. Nikolai, is your team equipped with anything that can use heat?"
"No." Albion was thinking, the difficulty might come from the creation of heat based attacks. Then again Albion had some magic he could use that could increase heat damage but it was too little to be useful.
Knowledge of your world has been brought into the library.
You may now use pages to gain magic skills.
"Why didn't you say so earlier? I only had mana injection and a bit of healing spells!"
You never asked.
Albion face palmed himself.
"Fine. But I need to farm some pages. I'll be farming for a bit." Albion said as his outfit changed to the Black Silence suit, the Arbiter's furcoat remained. Checking the fit of his gloves.
"I'll need to figure out how this one works. In the meantime, rest up. Spar against each other? I don't know. Do something as long as you're not bored out of your minds." Albion said as he went off to the Keter Floor.
"Maxim. You up for a rematch?" Roland asked, where Maxim chuckled as he turned to his team of 5 rhinos that nodded as they headed to the training arena.
