《Codename Deathmask》chapter 10 part 1

A voice overhead says, "Fifty competitors remain for wave two!"
Deathmask spoke, "Keep close and protect our medic, as we will need him later."
The men yelled out, “Yes sir!”
Deathmask faces a tall warrior that is over twelve foot tall and nine hundred pounds. He is wearing combat fatigues and carries a large knife intended to gut our hero like a fish.
The Urano officer prepares his hand slices to cut his foe as well. The two warriors started to slice at the air in the attempt to carve up the other like one slices a turkey. Small gashes on the warriors ' bodies started to form one right after another. The wounds were starting to piling up despite just being superficial wounds. Deathmask's armor was getting mangled by the assault.
The Urano soldier changed his tactics and kicked his foe in the head, as he kicked the man with knifepoint on the tip of his toes. The warrior would've had died if he hadn't blocked the blow with his
arm. While his foe was recovering his senses, Deathmask jumped unto his foe’s shoulders and wrapped his legs around the mercenary's neck. He rotates his body around the man’s neck and ends up sitting on the warrior’s back. The punk’s neck is snapped clean in two in the process. Deathmask runs off to face the next battle.
Forty-nine opponents remain.
Deathmask was encircled by nine warriors of various sizes and weapons. Two gunmen shoot at Deathmask with shotguns with one facing his back and the other facing his front. They both fired at the
same time. Deathmask had to move faster than Mach one-hundred-and sixty-five.
The two warriors shoot each other in the chest blowing each other at the same time. Four baddies use a long mechanical cable to entrapped the hero while electrifying the Giganto with the power of four lightning bolts. Deathmask passed out due to the damage of the attack.

The young officer was in the same void that he was in when he was accepted by the deathmask.
The mask separated from the boy and started to float midair
“How dare you misuse me and not use me properly!”
Deathmask spoke, "What are you talking about?"
The mask spoke, "You were only level zero when we first met and after all that bastard's training you're still level one! I should leave you to die out there!"
The officer spoke, "What do I have to do then? Do I need to raise my stats like I'm in some sort of crappy lit rpg?"
The mask spoke, "If that helps you to better use your talents. What would you like to improve?"
Deathmask spoke, "What are my choices?
“Toughness, speed, strength, intelligence, accuracy, and wisdom. You may pick one now to raise your level two.”
The warrior thought for several minutes, as he asked," Don't get a new stat every level since I started at level zero?"
The deathmask spoke, "Don't flatter yourself, You started at twenty-five times your base power and level one raises you up to the full fifty percent. You still get one stat and what will it be?"
Deathmask spoke with confidence, "I'll take toughness for three-hundred."

The Long and Exciting Life of Kreet the Kobold (Life 2)
Kreet was originally a D&D character. Life 1 was essentially her backstory. Life 2 picks up just after the events of the D&D campaign in the Underdark. At first you won't recognize the characters, but bear with it for a couple chapters and the few important points will be revealed. Also I stole a player's character (with his permission!) in the form of Sigmundurr. Also, unlike Life 1, I'll be posting this slowly over time. Right now I'm writing around chapter 20 and I suspect I'm only halfway. Tone may be a little different. ( Cover art by KuroNeko I'm pretty sure!)
