Pete was shocked that somebody had managed to out assassin the assassin, but he knew all too well that he must act soon or he will be dead meat. He went to the nearest shadow but he found himself met by unseen forces. This was a new experience for someone to outclass him to such a degree, but he wasn't shaken since he knew that he had been trained well by coach J. Pete went into some sort of inner peace that allows him to better able to detect the movements around him.
This foe was throwing knives at him but as if the weapons were moving in slow motion, Pete saw that it was some kind of commando in an army outfit. He grabbed the knives midair and threw them back at his would-be killer.
The knives pierced the eye socket of the foe, as well as his lungs. Pete was victorious in this battle.
He bragged, "How did you like bullet time mode bitch?"
Fourteen competitors remained.

Billy was inside a four-person gun battle with three other speedsters. Other fighters not involved
in the battle were killed by stray gunfire.
Ten competitors remained.
The four competitors were moving around Mach four hundred when Billy starts to leave afterimages behind himself.
There were now twelve Billies in the battle now.
One of the attacks hit Billy but it was just an afterimage.
Billy had managed to slip behind the assailant and shoot him in the back of the head.
The remaining two foes lost it and started to fire wildly at the mirages. They killed each other in their haste.
Seven competitors remained.
Bob was fighting some crazy run and gunner that forced him to keep on his feet for the entire battle up to this point.
Bob thought, "This punk is lousy as he dodges all landmines that I try to give him. I will have to shoot from the hip!"

The dwarf climbs up a wooden crate and stood still. Bullets were hitting his medium-sized power suit, but the sniper remained fearless. He was waiting for the moment to fight back and he had it.
Bam! A blast fires from Bob's rifle and it flies towards the bare head of his attacker. The head of the opponent is blown to bits as bone and brains are exposed.
Six opponents remain.

The whole unit meets up for the time being with Kill Joy coming out of the woodwork for the first time in the battle. Deathmask had made the medic do so since they needed to keep him as fresh as possible for healing the troops.
The voice overhead spoke, “Remaining competitors refuse to fight on so they must face a second wave of tougher fighters. Incoming wave incoming...Now!”
Pete yelled out, "It is time to rock out with our cocks out!"

8 163Snereloa Rebirth
In the darkest shining void, an ethereal being holding a scepter floats toward a nebula made up of the souls of the dead from all realms awaiting to be reutilized into the cycle. They aren't a deity of death, but one tracking an anomaly that can't be processed and completely wiped clean as they enjoy calling it. A fresh start, without shackles or remnants of what once was. Life is a price paid by all living beings, but like any transaction, we give it something in exchange for our memories, our feelings, our emotions, our past, and future, our ambitions and our dreams. Those all fuel the fire of creation, but so do grief, and pain. Every moment of suffering is the price, every living moment is paid at our death. Sometimes some have so much piled up that their soul and heart end up damaged. Be it loss of trust or being unable to truly live their life, those shackles are like an anchor that keeps the soul stable when on the verge of breaking apart, keeping it together at an immense price. Those unlucky souls are forced to be put into another life indebted, in the unlikely possibility of their defect healing themself in that new life. Their memories aren't intact after all—everything has a price—and that pain and fear are what they carry, while their partial amnesia is their shackle. This is the story of one such soul, of a girl sent into a world of legend and novel of fantasy, dragons and magic. A world away from what she knew, in which she will hopefully heal, be happy, and survive its side of darkness.
