When the battle abruptly ended the people in the city evacuated and the Guilds was busying for their respective works and the security system was too tight and their awareness was increasing and the Guilds were having trouble for their army resources.

He jumped and open his parachute that leads to the next building as he reach rooftop he crouched and swiftly fix his parachute and crawling forward against the wall peeking and saw a man patrolling on the rooftop terrace after a few minutes he left thus giving an opportunity to bypass it than creating a stone wall that makes him an invisible as he was watching the view he saw a woman coming out from the car revealing a girl whom she loved 3 years ago after that she proceeds on the building then a sudden voice came out and said "I know I would find you here John' as John looked at his back analyse the voice that mentions his name he there was a silhouetted man standing in front of him once he steps out in the dark and reveal a man who wore an old kevlar suit with mags and grenades across his body well protected and a P99 on his left waist, brown eyes, white skin. As he stared at John then in a moment of silence John looked away and said " How's the vigour Cpt. James" he used the same question as Howard asked him since he was on the portal. a man named James looked wary on John he answered " being Informative, are we? John snickered while looking at the girl " it's been a long time Cpl. John" after that John take out his bottle of water on his bag then he picked up the other one then gave James he said " I've been well Cpt. James" all of a sudden James throws a punch but John blocks it using his bare hand without looking at it James was surprised that John managed to block the punch without glancing John asked " Why are you here Cpt. James?" John grabbed his binoculars while his hood was still on James was curious about his appearance so he decided to raise a question " So, a sudden change of appearance where are you this day?" John sighed in frustration and replied " It is for you to find out" James sweatdrop at his comment but he decided to take another question "Who's that woman you've starting for?" John gulped at that question, so he decided to ignore the question as he continued watching a girl who was eating beside his best friend but he feels a heavy feeling weigh on his heart. "You know why?you should tell her how you feel I know that you've missed her so much," James said as John thought about his heart for what on earth is the problem why he was feeling guilty or something wanted to say or express himself yet he decided to keep it among himself and he decided to open up for it besides James was his old and trustworthy friend a best friend that he could ever know.

"I have lived my life as best I could not knowing its purpose, but drawn forward like a moth to a distant moon; and here, at last, I discover a strange truth. That I am only a conduit, for a message that eludes my understanding" he said and added " For now I still manage to find the answers that my mind filled with questions, as long as I live the clues will come out piece by piece" James looked at his old best friend pitied that he suffered a rough life he decided to comfort and said "I feel ya brother, life was strange so we have to adapt and moved on" while he was comforting his best friend he decided to ask a one question, that he needed to know.

"What happened on the day you returned on the portal," John? James asked. as John heard that question, he sighed and decided to tell a tale. " You might wanna hear this because I don't want to repeat it again so listen closely," he said while taking a deep breath.

"As I got out in the portal I don't know that there's an assault raging on the city 700 meters click from the portal the survivors were resting while for me spending my time in the other dimension but I feel like it was 5 years however, they said it's 5 hours after that a commander of the raiding party commands us to commence a counter-attack from the invaders.
