The trio walked towards the boss room. Collin had rested well and after he finished the steel boar for Sophie. He went and performed maintenance on robo-rat and his own boar. Because after experimenting he found out this was the way to ‘heal’ his minions. It did cost some extra components but luckily. Sophie collected way more then was needed to build her boar. It kind of hurt cause he would be able to build more minions with the amount she collected. But that pain healed quickly when he reminded himself that his current minions were stronger then if he would build a new minion. Collin grabbed a book out of his bag and flipped through it. When his brother left him and his mother he gave Collin this book. As some sort of parting gift. It was named “find me” originally Collin thought nothing more of it then some fantasy novel he made to comfort Collin for leaving him behind. Because back then he relied a lot on his brother. However Collin remembered a chapter in the book with robot-rats in a old lab. It was a lab where a failed experiment happened to make a new type of robot to control the world with. It was also the first chapter of the book. Now however it seems almost as if his brother knew more then he imagined. “Ahh here it is. The overseer of the old lab was the proto-type of the robo-rats. Which was way bigger then the robo-rats that wander around the old lab. The hero also fought this Proto-type. It was said that it has two phases. One where he fought with his paws and the second where he use the ball that he has been playing with. Back when he was captured. The ball however left a explosion wherever it land in a area from 10 by 10.” Collin explained to Sophie and Ronald who looked confused at him. “And if the boss isn’t a prototype-rat?” Collin shrugged “no clue” Ronald facepalmed “let’s hope for the best…” shortly after they walked to the large door Ronald described earlier they nodded and opened the door and walked and at the back of the room. There was a large rat resting near a huge ball. They walked farther in the room and the doors closed behind them and the rat woke up. And squeeked with the squeak the whole room shaked. Steel boar and robo-rat straight away went before the trip. Also Sophie’s boar stood ready to attack. Sophie walked to the back and prepared her staff and Ronald grabbed his dagger and walked to the minions. Collin went to set up a workplace in the corner of the room to heal up the minions if needed. And he commanded Sandy to share the stats of the boss.

Markat – The Prototype Boss Monster HP: 100/100 ATK: 5.5 DEF: 2
“Sophie, Ronald what are your guys ATK stats?!” Collin yelled
“I have an ATK stat of 3 and Sophie of 5. So we can damage it!”
Collin nodded. “That means we can deal 5 damage each attack. But Sophie needs time to cast a attack.. but we got the boars who only take 0.5 damage each and I can heal time” before Collin could give a command the rat already charges to them and the boars right away stood ready to take the hit.
>Steel Boar #1 loses 0.25 HP
>Steel Boar #2 loses 0.25 HP
>Because of this experiment Steel Boar 1 and 2 both learned the new active skill “combined wall”. With this skill multiple tank-type minions can share the damage with each other to make the damage impact less.
Collin was in shock “It is possible to learn new skills in combat by experimenting?”.
>Rat dealt 1 damage to Markat
>Ronald dealt 1 damage to Markat
“I am almost finished!” Sophie yelled and a big iron block flied up and got shot straight at Markat’s head.
>Sophie dealt a critical hit! 4.5 damage dealt

Markat didn’t flinch from a few simple attacks and right away swung its paw against Ronald.

Ronald ran right away to the back. And Collin commanded his boar to protect Ronald.
>Critical hit! Rat dealt 1.5 damage
>Sophie dealt 3 damage
Ronald drunk a small pot and quickly got behind Markat
>Ronald used backstab skill dealt 2 damage

The boars went back to face Markat face to face and defended the others
Markat hit two headbutts right after each other
>Steel Boar #1 & #2 uses combined wall
>Steel Boar #1 loses 0.5 HP
>Steel Boar #2 loses 0.5 HP
>Rat dealt 1 damage
>Ronald dealt 1 damage
>Sophie prepares magnet bomb skill
>Markat uses charged headbutts
>Steel Boar #1 loses 1 damage
>Steel Boar #1 loses 1 damage
>Warning your minion has less then 1 hp left!
“Ahh quickly boar get here!” Collin yelled and the boar right away sprinted back to Collin. However Markat notices and focussed on the escaping boar

Boar #2 managed to get in front of Markat just in time
>Boar #2 lost 1 hp
>Rat dealt 1 hp damage
>Ronald dealt 1hp damage
Collin grabbed his hoe and started to replace the damaged body of the boar.
“Repair will approximately take 3 minutes”
“Finally just in time!” Sophie yelled
>Sophie uses magnet bomb and dealt 15 hp of damage to Markat
Markat – The Prototype
HP: 69/100
Sophie yelled “sorry gotta charge up for the coming 5 minutes take care!”
Markat attacked Boar #2 for 0.5 damage. Warning Boar #2 only has 1 hp left!
>Ronald uses backstab and dealt 2 hp of dmg
>Rat dealt 1 hp of damage
>Healing got finished boar 2 recover his full hp.
“Alright quick switch with Boar #2!” Collin yelled and the two boars switched positions while Collin starts to replace the leg of Boar #2.
“Repair will take approximately 3 minutes”
>critical hit! Markat dealt 0.5 damage to boar #1
>Rat dealt 1 hp damage
>Critical hit! Ronald dealt 2 hp damage
>Sophie dealt 3 hp damage

HP: 60/100
Markat squeeked loudly
>Markat entered phase 2
>Markat ATK increased to 6.5
>Markat DEF dropped to 0
Boar #2 got healed and went back to the front
“Boars make sure to keep the combined wall up otherwise it is a two hit ko!” Collin yelled at them
Markat ran to the back of the room and grabbed the ball with his snout and threw it high in the air. A big red spot appeared on Sophie. She was in the middle of chanting before noticing it but it was already too late
>Sophie lost 8 hp
Sophie right away stood up ran to a safe spot while drinking the potion and at the same time Markat charged back to the front but was caught by the boars using combined wall.

>Boar #2 lost 0.75hp
>Boar #1 hit 1hp of damage
>Boar #2 hit 1hp of damage
>Ronald hit 3hp of damage

Markat once again threw the ball with his snout and it hit rat

“I am ready!” Sophie yelled

>Boar #1 dealt 1 hp of damage

“W what this wasn’t in the book!” Collin yelled
The boars managed to avoid the charge just in time
>Collin lost 6.5hp
>Ronald lost 6.5hp
>Sophie lost 6.5hp
“Warning all party member have less then 50% of their hp legt”
>Boar #1 dealt 1hp of damage
>Boar #2 dealt 1hp of damage
>Ronald dealt 3hp of damage
>Collin dealt 1.2 hp of damage

Markat let out a ear-deafening screech and fell to his back and disappeared in particles
Collin and his team sat down to rest while looking at what is left of Markat. Collin smiled and looked at Sophie and Ronald who smiled back.
Sandy flied over to Collin and changed screen
