Keira: [Do you know how to find this 'master'?]

System 999: [Of course! According to my information, this Master would visit A City exactly two weeks from now.]

Keira: [So that would mean, we need to survive for 2 more weeks in this world?]

System 999: [What do you mean by that Host?]

Keira: [Send me this body's memories.]

System 999 was still confused but still did as ordered.

The memories came flooding into Keira's mind. The previous body owner was named Yei and has lived a very pitiful life. Her parents abandoned her when she was young and had to live in the orphanage. Thankfully, the orphanage treated her warmly.

After graduating she worked extremely hard and finally became stable. In her workplace in A City, her boss named Rick then got interested in her but Yei was not even a bit interested. He then started 'pursuing' the body's previous owner but seeing that the previous owner was not interested, he began to force himself onto her. This made her extremely disgusted so she began resenting him. Her indifference amplified causing Rick to be impatient. Thus she was then drugged and was 'led' by Rick. Pictures were saved by Rick from the event, to blackmail the body's previous owner into having an explicit relationship with him.

How could the previous body owner take this kind of shame? In the end, she ended her own life in this very apartment by cutting her own wrist. Keira felt some pity for Yei.

Seeing its Host still remains quiet despite already having processed the memories could not help but ask Keira.

System 999: [What is your plan now Host?]

Keira: [What do you mean? Of course I plan on staying indoors until that 'master' arrives in A City]

Now that she had to live in this body's life, she had no plans of ever showing her face outside. She plans on staying at home, buying food from the system shop, and staying dormant inside for two weeks until that 'Master' comes to A City would only then Keira go outside.

'No way in hell I am risking myself from bumping into the male lead, Ezekiel' Keira thought to herself.

"It is better to become a salted fish(1) at home than having to face the terrifying face of Ezekiel." Keira said as she walked toward the couch and turn on the television.

The system watched its Host watch cartoons while lazily slouching on the couch. System 999 could not help but let out an electronic sigh.

This peace did not last very long however, as Yei's phone rang nonstop the next day. Keira who had just awoken from her deep slumber angrily grumbled at the annoying ringtone that never planned on ceasing.

Keira picked up the phone and answered with a hello. The other end began shouting.

"Yei! You dare not come to work, do wish for me to scatter the photos of you online?"

Keira's eyebrows immediately furrow at the annoying voice and words that came from the speaker. She didn't even want to deal with this bastard. Keira wanted to directly end the call without replying but then remembered that her current body looked exactly the same as her original body.

Thinking how this son of a bitch had 'explicit' photo's of her made Keira's blood start to boil and the thought of having the possibility of these photos spread online only made Keira burst a vein in her head.

Keira: [As I am currently possessing this body, I should return the favor by beating this disgusting bastard right?]

System 999: [I will cheer for you Host! (≧∇≦)/]

Having made up her mind, Keira replied acting like she was nervous about the photos spreading, "Don't! I wasn't feeling well yesterday and I managed to sleep in. I will go to the company today."

Keira heard a smirk from the other end before she heard him utter, "Good, directly go to my office when you arrive. I will be waiting for you."

This formed goosebumps on Keira's body. Keira didn't say anything to reply and promptly ended the call.

Keira stood up and started to skim through Yei's wardrobe, finding her work clothes and changing into them. Keira looked at the mirror and could not help but let a sigh escape her lips.

"I look exactly the same."

Was there truly such a coincidence that she ended up in a body that looked parallel to her original body?

"Now then, let's head to the company and beat that motherfucker up."

Following the memories that her Elly sent her, she arrives in front of a massive corporate building. Being that Rick is only one of the many department heads, it was not surprising that the previous owner worked in a massive company.

'Besides, I have already seen her memories.'

Entering the building, the clean yet elegant lobby that the company has to offer is still splendid to look at. It was completely different to submerge yourself in the memories of the previous owner and seeing it for yourself. But the appearance of the building gave out the vibe where a male lead would spawn in.

Keira: [Elly, alarm me when you will detect the male lead nearby.]

System 999: [Is the male lead going to be here?]

Keira: [Just a very bad inkling.]

Just as Keira was going towards the elevators, Elly was already sounding alarms in her head.

System 999: [Host! I have detected Ezekiel!]

Keira: [So fast?!]

Keira looked around trying to spot a person that already sticks out from afar. His male lead aura should have not diminished.

System 999: [To your left!]

Keira followed Elly's instructions, and her eyes grew big. There she saw the male lead, but he was—

"How dare that bastard!"

Keira rapidly strode towards Ezekiel. Perceiving that someone was aggressively looking at him, Ezekiel looked in Keira's direction. His eyes grew wide as if he could not believe what he saw. He unconsciously stiffened in place. The woman beside him saw that Ezekiel has stopped, and turned to look at him.

But before that woman could ask Ezekiel what was wrong. Keira has already gone near the two of them before any of them could react.

Slap. A resounding sound of skin being smacked could be heard.

Ezekiel: ???

The woman beside him: ???

System 999: ???

Keira: !!!

Everyone was dumbfounded.
