《Tyrant Named God》Invasion of the Southern Empire

Thousands of people had gathered at the senate building, awaiting certain doom. A massive army of demons had surrounded the Capital. Escape was impossible. The civilians unanimously decided that there was no other option but to fight back. Seeing their soldiers run away certainly caused anxiety in many civilians, yet to protect their livelihoods, they had no choice but to move forward.
Upon seeing the display of courage against absolute authority, God begins to feel slightly distasteful for what he is about to do. He knew that if he got involved in the fight, there was no chance the humans would stand a chance. But it had been thousands of years, and finally, he had the perfect setup to test his powers. God raises both of his hands into the sky.
“Mortals of the Southern Empire! I have come as promised!"
The sounds that came out of God’s Eye sounded like thunder. Curious as to what was going on. The civilians climbed up the wall only to see the air combust into flames. The flames were gathering around God at a hectic pace. God once more decides to use his ultimate form. He transforms into a gigantic entity just as he did back in Germont Castle. This time, however, things were different. Although God had already transformed, flames were still gathering around him, and the next set of flames appeared to take the form of a throne.
Both Humans and Demons watched as God took his seat on his infernal throne. A throne that looked both exquisite and demonic. A throne fit for only God. A massive chair made of the most sinister energies imaginable.
“Ezizil! Come up here!” God said with a demanding voice.
Ezizil was amazed at the colossal form God had. It took him about ten seconds to fly up to God’s Eye.
“Yes, my lord?” Ezizil tried to look into God's eye but ultimately did not have enough courage to face forward.
God's eye looks at Ezizil as if it were staring through this demon's soul. “I have decided not to participate in the fight.”
“Why do you say that my lord, do you not seek to give the world a show to make them tremble?”
“I want to see how your demons would do without my aid in battle.”
“If that is the case, then we shall obey.”
“Excellent. Before we start, I want a little bit of a struggle between both parties involved, so I’m going to remove the weapons I have given your soldiers. If they are genuinely worthy of being my minions, they shouldn’t be weak enough to die to civilians.”
“As you will, your highness."
With a wave of his hand, just as he had given the weapons to the demons, he took away those weapons without any trouble. Each magical gear suddenly disappeared from all the monsters under Ezizil’s command.
“Before you go, Ezizil, I want you to know that your efforts here will be noticed. Command your troops into battle and amuse me with the best of your abilities.”
“Of course, but killing these civilians wouldn’t prove any troubles for demons like us.” Ezizil takes his leave after bowing to the great eye.
The Archers of the Empire got into positions. Knowing of the power God wielded under his command and insight from the siege of Germont, the southerners reinforced all their frontal walls for the coming battle. Ezizil returns to his commander unit and awaits God’s command. The Southern Empire soldiers and the demons wait patiently for God to give his following words.

“Begin the invasion!” God yells from his infernal throne. The demons, terrified of even looking back at the great eye without hesitation, charge for a frontal assault. Demons were known for their strength, so bringing siege weapons was meaningless, especially since they could climb walls. The distance between them and the wall was enormous, giving an advantage to archer fire.
Since God had taken away all weapons and armors from the demons, they were annihilated by the southern empire's magical weapons. Thousands of lower-ranking demons fell to the ground from just the first wave. The demons did not halt for even a moment to look back and kept going. Terrified of their resolve, the Southern Empire civilians, who were now soldiers, kept firing their bows.
The senators tried to escape the city as everyone fought in the battle. This attempt failed miserably as the moment they stepped out of the city walls, they were suddenly immobilized by the gaze of God’s eye. This demoralized the soldiers greatly, giving the needed break for the demons to close the gap between them.
Ezizil, leading the assault at the front, reached the wall first. He flew on top of the wall and, with his claws, began ripping the soldiers to shreds. The people began to panic and started to flee. As other demons joined in on the slaughter, the Grand Marshal of the Southern Empire walks valiantly to the front lines with high-ranking paladins at his side.
The paladins engaged in combat right away with demons. With their hammers, they crushed the faces of demons with haste as if squishing bugs. The Grand Marshal of the empire was one of Lucious’s friends. He was known as Andertine, the demon slayer. As his name suggests, he was an expert at crushing demons under his sword. He was the most accomplished swordsman in the Southern Empire. With a very intimidating aura, he walks right through the ranks of the demons, and none dared challenge him.
Ezizil seeing the magnificent knight in shining armor, gets furious because no demon tries to attack him. He calls the demons cowards and that he shall deal with the knight himself. Ezizil flies towards Andertine, and as he gets close, the shiny knight takes out his sword and swings in the air with so much force and magic that the air particles launched at Ezizil, damaging his right-wing.
Ezizil falls to the ground and begins to yell for help. Both demons and humans watched the fight from afar. Andertine marches in his heavy armor up to Ezizil and, with his enormous boots, begins to stomp on his head.
“Mercy!! Please!!!!!!” Cried out Ezizil at the top of his lungs.
“Why would I show any mercy to a creature of darkness? A lower lifeform such as you should never be allowed to live.” Said Andertine as he looked down on the growling demon.
Ezizil knew that if he had his armor and weapons with him, he could definitely beat the knight who was making a mockery of him. As he devised a plan to fight back, Andertine launches another whirl slash at the surrounding demons, ripping them apart.
“Is that all you got, demon?” Andertine laughed at the top of his lungs for his absolute domination over the demon.
“You coward human, why don’t you fight me on equal footing?”
“And why would I do that. You should have come to this battle prepared.”
Sure enough, Andertine was right. This comment sparked joy in God, who was having the time of his life watching the two ants fight each other. From across the battlefield, every man, child-woman, and demon hear a burst of sinister laughter that echoes deep in their hearts.

Andertine, upon hearing God laughing at them, felt his heart sink. His body broke out in cold sweat and lost a lot of momentum. The once proud and noble-looking knight looked pale after hearing God for the first time.
"What the hell is that sound!" Said Andertine with a worried look. He knew that the laughter had the same tone as the God he once knew, but the difference was night and day. The once cheery and happy-sounding God he knew, now sounded evil and sinister. The laugh echoed deep in everyone's hearts.
Ezizil also suffered the same effects as Andertine. He believed that he could withstand God's voice on some scale, but this time, he also felt the chaotic energies swirling around in the air. He was accustomed to God's laughter after hearing it multiple times over the journey south and recovered from a state of hysteria much more quickly.
While Andertine was shocked by the voice, Ezizil used his razor claws to tear the magic armor apart. Andertine finally recovers composure after realizing he has a battle to focus on. Ezizil and Andertine continue their struggle at a slightly more even scale.
Both Ezizil and Andertine ran out of stamina much more quickly because of the wide range debuff caused by God. This Debuff is known as Chaotic Insurgence, a 9th-tier spell that drains the lifeforce, stamina, and magical energies of surrounding creatures. Due to their sudden loss of all stamina, the two enemies engage in magical combat.
Ezizil casts an infernal fireball, the same as a regular fireball used by demons. To counter this, Andertine used his Holy shield spell that counters all low-tier evil magics. The battle was decided. Andertine was a warrior class and lacked mana, and in a battle against a demon in magical combat, Ezizil had the upper hand. Both warriors were exhausted, and even though Ezizil had won, both fell to the ground. The remaining demons proceeded to slaughter the remaining civilians of the city, encouraged by their commander’s victory in battle.
There was a slight problem with hunting down the remaining humans. The city was enormous, and the demons were already exhausted from combat. Although they had won, they could not pursue. God watched as the last demon standing fell to the ground suffering from debuffs. They remained conscious throughout, although they could no longer move. God finally had to get involved, seeing that the siege was no longer going as planned. He decided to cast Rain of Chaos. A 3rd tier spell. This spell is one of the least effective combat spell but has a large AOE range.
Ezizil and Andertine watched the fire begin to rain from the sky. Both of them knew that God did this cast. This was no average Rain of Chaos. The magnitude and effectiveness of the spell was on the same level as a 10th-tier spell, and this was just 3rd-tier magic cast by God. They both wondered if this is only a mere buffed 3rd tier spell, what sort of evil God could cast with a 10th tier.
By the end of the spell, the entire city was on fire. Thousands of demons and humans burned to ash, screaming for help. Andertine, who fell to the ground next to Ezizil, was hit in the face with just a single particle of the rain of chaos, severely burning away his face to the point his skull was visible. Ezizil felt pity for Andertine and could not bear the tormenting screams of Andertine’s face melting off.
The Palace and the Senate building were still standing strong after all the events that transpired. Seeing this, God commends the craftsmanship of humans. Humans were always fun toys to play around with and to show them the extent of their folly for not obeying him. He shoots black flames out of its enormous eye. The Flames of hell quickly spread across the city and burned away the senate, the people hiding inside, and the palace building.
Ezizil watched as the city fell quiet. He thought he would be burnt to a crisp along with everyone else. Suddenly, a demonic circle appears on the ground and transports him into the burning hands of God.
“You have done well, although you seem a bit tired.”
“My lord!” with the remaining strength Ezizil had left, he bowed in God’s hand as his legs were burnt severely.
“It seems you are… Damaged…” God's eye looked at his injuries thinking whether or not he should replace him with something else.
“My lord! It is nothing!” Every second he spent talking to God. His legs burned to ash even more.
“I hope you will be able to recover from your injuries in a fashionable manner Ezizil. You wouldn’t want to be slowing me down.”
“I will not, my lord! Please put me down.”
“Very well then.” God teleports Ezizil to the ground but makes sure that he falls to the ground and doesn’t directly place him on it.
“I have put you down as you asked. Now, I want you to bow to me.”
“But”
“I need proof of your loyalty. Bow to me. Do not speak further.”
Ezizil stands up and bows to God, his legs shaking from being burnt, barely allowed him to move. For the first time, Ezizil was utterly terrified at the power God wielded so freely.
“Excellent, I do like obedient children. Very well, I shall keep you as the army’s leader, but it seems that your army is no longer here. Shall I summon some of my own?”
“NO! my lord, do not concern yourself with such a task! I shall go and gather a brand-new army, even stronger than before for you.”
“Wonderful! That is precisely what I wanted to hear. But do not take too long! Since you are so obedient, I shall transport you to hell, so you don’t have to worry about traveling.”
“Thank you, your excellency.”
God teleports Ezizil to hell, expecting a fast recovery and an elite army.
Andertine was still alive after all that happened. He was still screaming in pain. The torture wouldn’t stop. God looks across the battlefield and sees him. God teleports Andertine to his hand and offers him a choice.
“Andertine, a warrior of justice. Your entire life, you have sought to bring justice to evil-doers. But after all the sacrifices you have made, look at where it has ended you. Your people exterminated, your soldiers butchered, and your city in ruins. I could, however, ease your pain in exchange for your eternal servitude.”
With the remaining strength left, Andertine looks directly in the eye, as if they were old friends, and says, “You are right. It’s exactly as you say. We were comrades once. I am sorry for betraying you. I believed that democracy was the answer, but all we did was replace you with a weaker government.”
“I’m glad you see things my way now, but time for regrets is passed. Now you have only two choices in front of you. Serve me for the remainder of your life or burn.”
“I suppose I don’t have any other choice here. I did betray you once. Perhaps it’s time to make amends for my foolishness. I accept your offer.”
As Andertine accepted the offer, his heart stopped. He fell over himself in God’s hand in a state of shock. His soul left his body, but before it could escape, he was resurrected as a fallen paladin.
A fallen paladin, as the name suggests, is a paladin who is corrupted with evil karma. They are much like zombies. They can cast unholy magic and raise dead. They are also eternally loyal to the person who turned them.
“Congratulations on your resurrection, Andertine.”
“I am yours to command, oh great master of the infinite abyss.”
“For your first task, I want you to go to The Barman Empire. There awaits us a great ally for the wars to come. I will stay in the Southern Empire for the time being.”
“Understood, my lord.”
“To help you along the journey, pick one of those infernal horses. They belonged to the dead demons in the city. But do make haste.”
Andertine takes his leave after bowing to God. His once holy and sacred magic armor was now covered in black and red, yet he was content, for, after years of living in solitude, he finally had a purpose.
God watches from his infernal chair as the fires continue to burn… The entire world watched along with him. Grismala and Lucious specifically were both watching the slaughter using Far Sight magic. This could easily be countered, and God knew they were watching, but he decided it would be better to let them witness what was coming for them this time.
"What a wonderful sight, let this be a lesson to all those who dared betray me. I know you are watching Grismala and by the time I'm done here, I will come to take your head. Your powers and tricks will not save you this time.
As night fell, the city grew quiet, and the screams of burning people could no longer be heard. Grismala and Lucious knew that every single soul God corrupts only adds to his powers. But the process of corrupting each soul and integrating them into your body takes time, and with the size of the city, it would take months before God could begin moving again. This was evident that God had yet to regain his full potential.
Lucious claimed that God was roughly around level 200-230 at the time based on the display of power shown. This was still impressive because the most accomplished magic caster, Lucious, was estimated at around level 40, with the ability to cast 5th-tier magic. On the other hand, Grismala, who is not only the Queen of the elves but also a Guardian Deity, was estimated at around level 70-80. She could cast 8th tier Dispel magic, which is effective against all summons and magical abilities.
Grismala was nervous more than anyone. With the power displayed at the Southern Empire, she knew that by the time God integrates all the souls into his body, he would be roughly around level 500 or higher. That would give him the ability to cast the 11th tier of magic.
With the plan Grismala had, the obelisks would only buff her power levels up to level 200-230, just like God, and even with that plan, she would still be at a disadvantage since that magic could only be cast once, and it was limited time deal. If Grismala could reunite physically with Lucious, that would give them a fighting chance. Both of them fighting together could make a shield powerful enough to deter God, but how long this shield would hold, no one knew.
The Ice Queen would be the final determinant of the coming conflict. She governs the lands due north of the Entangina Empire. The kingdom of Barman is an industrial location, with lots of automation. The country is governed like a dictatorship by the most powerful magic caster. The Barman Empire is the number 1 manufacturer of magical weapons, and the main race of humanoids that live there are dwarves. Both God and Grismala sent envoys to Barman in hopes to persuade the Ice queen to join their cause.
After Reorganizing the military of the Holy Kingdom, Emperor Lucious begins his travels to Entangina Empire to help in the coming conflict against God. Grismala prepares the city for a siege and begins collecting magical energies inside her magical orb of power.
As everyone prepares for the next coming conflict, Rhea walks into the Guild to see how she could help out.

The Trials of Bethany
Bethany, is a young girl who didn't expect anything more from her life than to spend her time churning butter and trying to ignore the abuse of her fellow village members. In any other world this would be a reasonable expectation for a person in the middle ages. But Bethany was lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it. Because her world was about to get a whole lot bigger, and a whole lot scarier. The Trials of Bethany, is a Gamelit story of a system arriving on earth in the middle ages with the characters being teleported away regularly to face trials to earn their skill levels. As such there won't be a flood of skills however there will be constant progression and other hidden treats. The story will be evolving as it's written and as always aspects of the story/world are prone to change. This is my first serious attempt at writing and my first time publishing anywhere so all constructive criticism is welcome. Currently uploading Tuesday & Friday with occasional bonus chapters.
8 199The War of our Stars (SWTOR Fan fiction)
YAH, PICTURE! Also, I used "The Old Republic", as I couldn't fit in "Star Wars"....... Yes, the title does mean something. I guess this is a SWTOR Alternate Universe Fanfiction? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used glowtxt, Microsoft word, and paint to make that. I DO NOT OWN THE PICTURE, I got it when I searched up "copyright free". Also, I just used glowtxt, but if whoever made glowtxt wants me to stop, I'll get rid of it. Whilst this is a fanfiction of SWTOR, the setting is VERY different, you will not see any SWTOR characters within this Novel, there will be places both made up and already existing in SWTOR. Take for example, whilst the Dark Council still exists, it will have completely different members. Also, there are minor changes to the history before and during the Old Republic, but there is little overall change, with the main character starting out at a similar time to a starting character. Star Wars the Old Republic Fanfiction. You'll understand the title, not in the first chapter, but as Frederick goes to outer space. Before the Rule of Two, there were multitudes of Sith and Jedi. Numbering thousands of both Sith and Jedi, a great war between the Empire and Republic has existed since time immemorial. From our World, a young boy named Frederick is born into the Galaxy of Star Wars, born into an Imperial Family, he lives up to the expectations of becoming a powerful Sith. But all he wants to do is to survive.... But by surviving, he does more so than simply surviving. Many have made star wars fanfictions, and this one will probably...... (I have read, watched and played Star Wars, so here you go) NOTES: Action and Adventure are a bit light for the first few Planetary Arcs. I'm terrible at comedy and romance will come will really late. Absolutely terrible until Corellia.
8 297That time I got re-incarnated in Fire - Red
Ben Stiller did not expect to find himself waking up inside the Pokemon Fire - Red game. He also did not expect to find out how badly a game like this translates into real life! What to expect:- Some comedy, light, dark or otherwise whatever I feel like.- Some interesting twists in the story as I personally play through the game for reference IRL :)- Blue screens... maybe for the MC, definately not for you guys though :p- I don't think there will be all that much in the way of romance, the MC is in the body of a 10 year old.- Also, there won't really be any disturbing shit dispite what the cover might suggest.- The MC is not overtly bad or a psycho or anything, but is a bit 'care-free'- Honestly I just wanted to write something randomly for some stress relief!
