《The Egotistical Mana Spirit》City of Tash

Nobrow arrived at the capital city of the Qalampirian Kingdom, the city of Tash. He had entered during the deep night where few people roamed the dusty wide streets. He entered through the main front entrance, two extremely large doors were used as gates and it took at least a couple individuals to open them up.

The guards still operated during the semi quiet night along the large sandstone city walls. Normally people wouldn't be able to enter the city during the night, but because Nobrow was alone, carried little, and was a Mana man offered him easy access. Throughout Senaisa most urban settlements gladly accept the highly intelligent Mana race. Not to mention, it was the kingdom's policy to get every advantage in inviting high skill immigrants due to their tolerant stances on religion and backgrounds.

Yet outside the city it isn't likely that every person would appreciate a Mana person. In the Kingdom of Qalampir there are plantation estates that produce spices and other normal farm foods. These plantations are large manors that are common along the coastline, but independent farms and villages that aren't in the influence of the aristocrats are regular farmlands and can't afford to grow and sell spices because of laws that favor the wealthy. Yet these aristocrats regularly live in the capital of the kingdom and while they aren't the nicest bunch to the rest of the society, they end up proving their worth to the throne. In fact, Qalampir is renowned for being a merchant kingdom, so merit plays a large role in the society. Unlike almost every corner of Senaisa, Qalampir promotes and values individualism.

There were little people about the normally full streets of the night, but it was still impressive that the city was still somewhat active during the night. Half the people outside in the night were guards inspecting every corner in case of a thief was sneaking about or maybe a fight would break outside a restaurant. The other type of people who walked the streets could be called errand men. Those were people who had to deliver messages or goods to scheduled locations when there was space in the night to move around.

Nobrow felt safe enough to be worry free. In fact, he felt safe because he was too tired to worry about his safety. He had entered a fancy inn that was in a well to do part of town that is near the town center and the palace. An Amine receptionist came up to the Mana to ask what he wanted, after a short moment of discussion, she led him to his room at the end of the building. The inn was made of clean-cut stone bricks with a white marble looking floor, many pillows and tables were spread out on the bottom floor. The room Nobrow would be staying in had a window out into a tiny balcony, he was on the second floor alongside several other rooms.

"Civilization... finally" whispered Nobrow while simultaneously falling down to the thick carpet below him.
