《The Egotistical Mana Spirit》Do you Nibbel, Graze, or Munch Qalampir?

Nibbel, Munch, and Graze were the names of the three Feaselian diplomats. They had traveled all the way down south from their newfound state in Issil called Acorn to come here into the Warm Coast. Nobrow had spent almost a week walking with them to a nearby kingdom, where Nobrow decided that he needed a rest because the poor sod had spent many months out in the wilds of the Great Steppe with his Monkey thug pals. The Kingdom of Qalampir, as it was officially known as, is a semi large kingdom that stretches from the southern parts of Transoxiania down to about where Nobrow entered the Warm Coast from the Great steppe.

Unlike the countries and states in Samar and the Four Corner Mountains region (the midsection between Issil and the rest of southern Senaisa), the lands pretty much anywhere on the coast of the Great Ocean are regularly in dispute. So, the borders of these countries are rarely stable and state administration is a poor mess. At least according to the popular book written by Alan (Nobrow's Great Writer pseudonym).

The Kingdom of Qalampir happens to be one of the most interesting kingdoms in the area. The Warm Coast is credited for its excellent weather and because of that agriculture flourishes very well, allowing many types of plants to grow in the coast. Thus, the farms in this region often rival those of Samar, a land known for its great valley rivers.

Most other political entities in the Warm Coast often dislike interacting with the rest of Senaisa so they tend to be more isolated. Yet the Kingdom of Qalampir has taken ambitious policies in creating excellent relationships with other states by being more open and promoting trade. This is all due to Yuzbon dynasty which is the current head of the country for already three generations.

So, it is no wonder how or why the three Feasel emissaries are attempting to establish a relationship between the two countries, even for Acorn the small Feasel state which is far away. While Nobrow decided not to pry into their business (...directly), he could only assume that their small merchant country would benefit very well if they managed to import the famous Qalampirian peppers.

A commodity such as a pepper in a region up north such as Issil where only the wealthy could ever dream of can only be extremely expensive. To put it into perspective, if Acorn could acquire a monopoly of peppers in Issil their tiny state would quickly transform into a busy trading empire. The greatest threat to this dream though, is the immense distance between the two countries.

On land it would be nearly impossible, but maybe a water route could work. Pondered Nobrow thinking if the Feasel’s deal was realistic.

But what excided Nobrow the most... was the possibility that he could alter an entire society’s future simply by bad mouthing the Feasel emissaries in the city or robbing them blind! Of course, Nobrow wouldn't do that! YET... he knew all too well that he had the power and if he ever wanted to be a bastard...this was the chance. How mighty and powerful this man is...? Nobody will ever know for sure, even Nobrow can't decide because he’ll just be blinded by his illusionary degrees.

When Nobrow and the diplomats had nearly reached the capital of the Qalampirian kingdom, Nobrow decided to leave the company. The Feasel men wanted to stay and camp for the last day before entering the capital. But Nobrow was too impatient since he couldn’t wait to finally enter civilization after leaving her good graces behind.

He shook hands with Graze, the tallest and largest Feasel of the group. His height reached the upper chest of Nobrow, exceptionally tall for a Feasel. Unlike Graze, Munch and Nibbel were even shorter, only reaching the waist of Nobrow. Munch and Nibbel both had short bow's for when they were in the wild hunting, but only Munch had a spear alongside him. Nibbel was clearly the smartest of the three and was probably the lead diplomat since he made the most conversations with Nobrow. Of course, Nobrow knew Nibbel was the smartest since he could understand him the best.

As dusk approached the horizon, Nobrow wished them good luck discussing and waved goodbye to his former company and continued down the road.
