The three guardians were running around, taking on the Yugure with their weapons and magic. William just stood and watched as he kept laughing.

William: You think you three can defeat a beast this large?! You are wasting your time...especially after this!

William shot a gigantic dark energy blade towards them. Katsuo used the Great Barrier to try and block it, but it broke through the barrier and hit him.

Julia: Katsuo!

Katsuo: I'm fine...! Damnit...so that is a stronger Grade than my Great Barrier? Wonderful...Julia, Benjiro...you take on the Wyvern! I got this AWF bastard!

Julia: Don't get careless!

Benjiro: Fine by me...he was going to get in the way anyway!

Julia and Benjiro continued to fight the Wyvern, both were jumping around as it shot out dark energy balls at them and tried to knock them around with its body, but the two were too good and dodged its attacks easily.

William: You damn beast!! Hit them, damnit!

William's eyes widened as he saw a Luminsa fly past his head.

Katsuo: Your fight is with me, bastard!

William shot several dark blades at Katsuo, who counteracted with light swords surrounding him. The Yugure roared as it shot hundreds of dark spears from its mouth into the sky, raining down on Benjiro and Julia.

Julia: Benjiro!

Benjiro: Yeah!

Benjiro held his sword out as Julia jumped and the blade. Benjiro launched her up at the Wyvern. She twirled around in the air, jumping on the dark spears as they rained down, gaining height until she landed on the Yugure's head. It tried to shake her off as she kept stabbing it with her trident.

William: You damn beast! Kill her already!

William shot a gigantic dark blade at Julia and the Wyvern. Julia noticed and backflipped off of it onto its back as it got hit. The Yugure glared at William as it roared at him.

Benjiro: You idiot...you tried to kill your own beast-

William laughed as Benjiro looked at the Wyvern light up with purple energy.

Benjiro: Julia!! Get off of it!

Julia: W-What-?!

But it was too late, as the Wyvern suddenly exploded dark crystals from every part of its body, impaling Julia.

Katsuo: Julia!!!

Julia: W-W-What the hell...just...happened...?!

William: I overpowered it with darkness! You damn idiots didn't even see it coming!

The Wyvern turned into crystal as it shattered itself, leaving Julia to fall with crystals impaled into her. Benjiro caught her even though he would get pierced a bit.

Julia: Ben....jiro...?

Benjiro: Come on, stay with me! We can heal you up!

Julia: Benjiro...I'm...sorry...

Julia started to cry as she dropped her trident to the ground, slowly closing her eyes. Benjiro hit her forehead with his, trying to keep her awake.

Benjiro: Damnit! Stay awake! You can live through this!!

Julia: I'm sorry...I failed you both...I failed Aurora...I'm so...sorry...Ben..ji...ro...

She closed her eyes finally as her body became crystal in his arms. Benjiro set her gently on the ground as he walked to Katsuo's side, glaring at William, who kept laughing.

William: You fools! You utter fools! You feel right into my-

Benjiro: Shut the hell up!!!

William: Are you upset that your woman just died-

Katsuo: Shut up, he said! She was our friend!! She was like a sister to me! So don't you dare laugh at her death, you damn bastard!!

William kept laughing as all the crystals flew to him and got absorbed by his armor. His voice got very demonic suddenly as he kept laughing.

William: Now I have the power of a Wyvern and that damn guardian! I'm unstoppable now!! Come at me with all you got!!

Benjiro went to step forward, but Katsuo got in his way, looking back at him.

Katsuo: This spell is a Grade 12... it's forbidden; it let's one take the souls of those around it and fuse them into their body. He is stronger than both of us combined, more than likely.

Benjiro: That Wyvern wasn't that strong! We can-

Katsuo: But Julia was! And that Wyvern, although it may not have been strong against you both, still holds powerful magic within it! Therefore...he is strong enough to possibly even challenge Aurora, especially if he consumes us as well.

Benjiro: So what are you suggesting...?

Katsuo: Go to Aurora...I'm sorry, but this will be the only way.

Katsuo started walking to William, expelling massive amounts of mana from his body.

Benjiro: Katsuo! Don't you dare do something risky!

Katsuo: Benjiro...my blood brother, I'm incredibly sorry. But this...this has to be the only way.

Katsuo stood before William, who laughed and rushed at Katsuo with his blade. Katsuo took the hit, his body cut in two.

Benjiro: Katsuo!! Not you too!

Katsuo: Soul...Gate...

William laughed as the area dimmed, a spiritual door appearing behind him the size of the castle itself. He turned around and backed away from it a bit as Katsuo slowly fell to the ground.

Katsuo: A Grade 12 spell that can only be used by one in their dying last breaths...a spell that can pull multiple foes inside its gate, tearing their soul and body apart until there is nothing left!

The gate slowly opened as snow-white translucent arms and hands came from the gate, grabbing Katsuo's two halves and then William, who tried to run away but was getting dragged in.

William: No! I won't die! I'll...I'll kill you all!!!

William set out one last gigantic dark blade at Benjiro, who cut it in two with his sword, glaring at William. Katsuo chuckled a bit, looking back at Benjiro with a tear in his eye.

Katsuo: Benjiro...take care of Aurora for us...

The gate pulled them in and closed immediately after, vanishing as the sky fell back to normal. The AWF ran away after seeing it; one member, Calvin, grabbed Julia's trident and ran off with it as Benjiro fell to his knees.

Benjiro: Julia...Katsuo...

Aurora ran outside, hearing the commotion as she saw Benjiro on his knees. She ran to him, confused.

Aurora: Benjiro?! Where are Julia and Katsuo?! Did the AWF-

Benjiro: They were killed...Julia by that bastard...and Katsuo sacrificed himself to kill him before he could kill you and me!

Aurora: They...they both died...?

Aurora also fell to her knees next to Benjiro, tears flowing from her eyes.

Aurora: No...not them...why did it...why couldn't they have just...

Benjiro turned to her and hugged her tight.

Benjiro: If only I were more aware...I could have saved them!

Aurora:...Benjiro-

Benjiro: I swear on my life...I will protect you with every being of my soul!

Aurora smiled softly as she hugged him tightly, putting her face on his shoulder to cry into. After the final story, Benjiro got up and started to smoke again.

Ci: I...am sorry for your loss. I had no idea any of that happened...

Benjiro: It's fine...

Itsuki: Benjiro...we will take down the AWF, all of us will! I won't let those bastards kill anyone else ever again-

Benjiro flicked him in the forehead and shook his head.

Benjiro: I don't care about taking them down; my only goal is to see Aurora and her needs live to the end. If the AWF tries to kill her, I will raise my sword to them. Until that point, that isn't my fight.

Itsuki: But-

Ci: How honorable...if all of us Witches had someone like you, we would never have to worry about the AWF or any threat. I apologize for those years ago...I seemed to be wrong about entrusting non-Witches.

Benjiro: It's whatever...let's get some grub; Aurora will start to worry if we don't make it there soon. You know how she is.

Benjiro walked away as Ci stood up, looking down at Itsuki, who was still sitting on the ground.

Ci: You heard the man, let's go eat-

Itsuki: Go on ahead...I'm going to stay here and train some more.

Ci: Don't be ridiculous! Your body is worn down; you shouldn't push yourself too hard!

Itsuki: Just let me do this...I need to get stronger, much stronger. I stand by what I said; I'm not going to let them get away with hurting anyone...

Ci just sighed heavily and left him as Itsuki got up, trying to use Chamber repeatedly.
