Akeru and Itsuki booked it there to see the entire village was on fire. Itsuki looked to see if the Orc came back, but there was nothing. So finally, Itsuki looked at his feet to see Matsuri's bunny.
Itsuki: No..they…they had to have escaped, right!? Akeru, help me look for any survivors.
A familiar voice came from behind; it was Calvin.
Calvin: Sorry to say, there is none, kiddo…
Calvin walked past them with his green-colored trident.
Akeru: Do you know what happened!? Matsuri…Himari…they had to have made it out! Where are all the bodies then!? Calvin, tell me you know something! Was it the Orcs again?!
Akeru was in tears, and Itsuki was silent but terrified. How could this have happened to this lovely village again?
Calvin: It wasn't Orcs.
Akeru: W-What? Then what happened?
Calvin: Sad to say it, but I had to do what was done. All part of being a hero.
Itsuki: W-What do you mean…?
Calvin turned around; his trident was bloody as he smiled at them.
Calvin: They worshipped the Twilight Witch! All of them! What a shame; I didn't want to kill them. They were friendly people…but all were sinners. Anyone that likes a Witch will die as they will.
Akeru: How could you?! They did nothing to you! They were…they were innocent!
Calvin: Innocent? Do you not understand? They were on the Witch's side; they were part of the villains!
Itsuki: Villains….?
Calvin: Yes! Witches are all evil! They were made to rule, but all of them are bloody monsters! So I'm in league with the heroes: The Anti-Witch Federation! We want everyone to be free from their evil grasp!
Akeru: You…you… don't you dare call yourself a hero after what you did!
Calvin: Now calm down, missy; I know you all have feelings for these folk. You helped them rebuild, right? I'm not going to kill you two for following a Quest; the Guild has to help everyone, even the bloody Witch followers!

Calvin felt a wind blade brush past his cheek, cutting it slightly.
Itsuki: Damn you…
Calvin: That wasn't okay, Itsuki. But you are just angry…so just leave, okay? I promise I'll feed their bodies to the local wildlife! That way, we can help them-
Itsuki: Shut the hell up, you monster!
Itsuki rushed at him as Calvin got in a stance.
Akeru: Itsuki be careful!
Itsuki: Matsuri…Himari…Why them!? Why did you have to kill them? Haven't they suffered enough?!
Itsuki shot several Pyroballs at Calvin, but they merely hit his armor and did not damage him.
Calvin: You two…if you fight against me, you will be no different than them. It means I have to purge you too!!!
Calvin thrust his trident at Itsuki, but Itsuki suddenly summoned an iron sword from nowhere and blocked his blow, swinging his sword at Calvin's neck. Calvin was caught off guard but moved to the side and kneed Itsuki away from him.
Akeru: How did he…summon a sword like that without an incantation?
Calvin: You surprised me, kid; I didn't expect you to use that spell.
Itsuki: I'll kill you! I'll make sure you pay for what you did! Pyroball, Galewind!
Itsuki kept shooting the dual magic at Calvin, who kept taking the hits and slowly walked to Itsuki, who was burning his hand.
Akeru: He doesn't stand a chance…Itsuki, just run! You won't win!
Itsuki: Then I'll die trying, damnit! I won't let him get away with this!
Calvin: What a shame; I was looking forward to being a hero with you. I was going to ask for permission to let you join us-
Itsuki: If scum like you…are heroes, I don't want to be one anymore!
Calvin: Itsuki, that hurts me…but not as much as I will hurt you!
Itsuki tried to step back but tripped as Calvin's trident went to thrust into him. However, the masked man from before stepped in and blocked the thrust with his sword.

Calvin: You…!
The man pushed Calvin back using his sword, standing in front of Itsuki.
Itsuki: Out of my way, I'm going to be the one to kill him!
Man: Save your anger; he is out of your league. Besides, I have issues with him myself.
Calvin: So the Witch follower wants to fight me? So be it!
Man: I have no interest in fighting you now; I merely stated I had issues with you.
Calvin: Well, I have an interest in fighting you; all three of you are sinners!
???: Is that so? Well, by all means, I would like to see you fight all four of us.
Akeru looked to where this fourth voice came from but then widened her eyes to see that the Twilight Witch herself was there.
Calvin: You?!
Itsuki: Why is she here…?
Aurora: Benjiro, take them to my castle, please. Make sure they are treated as honorable guests, please.
Itsuki: Don't…kill him…
Aurora: I will not kill him, but I will teach him a lesson about killing those that do not require being punished.
Calvin: You damn Witch, I'll kill you right here-
Calvin felt pain in his arm suddenly. He looked to see his arm was utterly cut off, with blood spewing out.
Calvin: Damnit! Damnit, all to hell!!
Aurora: You can try, but you will fail. Benjiro, go.
Benjiro nods and knocks Itsuki out, carrying him over his shoulder. He signaled Akeru to follow him. She looked at Aurora for a brief moment before following him to the castle located in the city's center.
Calvin: I'll call for backup; I'll get more men here!
Aurora: Then you all will share the same fate.
Calvin tries to thrust his trident at her, but all she does is touch it, and it gets blown out of his hands. Calvin's eyes widened as he stopped and backed away from her.
Aurora: Last chance to run. You are not a man, not a hero, and certainly don't deserve to be even a Bronze for what you did to this village and its people!
Calvin: And what of you and your kind?! How many have lost their lives to Witches?!
Aurora: You blame the Witches, yet regular humans have done the same if not worse throughout the ages.
Calvin gritted his teeth and ran away from her, grabbing his trident as he ran. Aurora just shook her head and got on her knees, praying in the remains of the village.

The Legendary Class
At the height of the Age of Terror, humankind lay shattered, its few survivors scattered like dust in the wind. It is said that at the brink of extinction, the Gods intervened and blessed five champions known as “The Titans” with legendary classes. To this day, every small child dreams of obtaining a legendary class. Whether there is any truth to this ancient tale is unknown, but it is a certainty that in each generation perhaps a handful of those children will, in fact, obtain a legendary class. But, if they ever did, the Gods no longer answer prayers, and, in modern times, a legendary class is often far from a blessing.
