Welcome back, to the magic!

The logo formed, circles forming on top of each other: a central large and smaller rounding around the lines of the circle. They formed in the darkness, and them aligning turned the logo gold and the space illuminated with the brightest white.

Symbols mean something.

Stock footage of various events in human history, the common theme is people coming gather from ruin, hardship.

Our symbol takes all of this, this beauty, our sweat, our tears, our hard work—things that can’t be defined all at once, just as a symbol. It means not to give in, it means not to waver in the face of despair, it means rolling up our sleeves—strapping up our boots—wiping our foreheads, and getting back to work.

And in this new world where nothing makes sense—

Quick flashes of the Shifts’ damage accumulating over the years in second, multiple one frames.

And the symbol remains.

Our symbol means something. We mean something.

Now a roll of various celebrities, inventors, movement leaders, and famous people.

So, let’s remember to create, to work at it, to inspire, to imagine—to keep forward, to keep moving, to keep figuring out, to keep exploring—to dream, to live.

We’re the ones who are existence itself.

We exist.

We are Extant.

So let’s be it.

The program ended.

And an instant, Jackie leaped from where the “screen” was, ripping through what looked to be paper.

Falling on her belly, before getting up, she continued to sprint—realizing how she’s in this empty, white prison that was all too familiar.

The torn screen extended its forming paper tendrils, and wrapped themselves around Jackie’s limbs, tightening as she gotten too far.

Being yanked back, she shivered and panted in place, looking around. Trying to figure out how she’s so deep within her own mind.

She found her answer, as a nurse walked in with his hands behind his back.

Well, he wasn’t her nurse anymore.

“I know, I know,” Leslie tried to reassure her. “I have a lot to explain. But, you first.”
