Other than Zain, Zeidan had many children. Most of them are illegitimate. He had two wives other than Vanessa, Ruby and Lily. One with 12 years old son and the other with two daughters of age 10 and 12.

"They are back from Oasis. Young master, Nyris is on Rank 4 in his second year. Lady Nancy and Maze are also doing great. They would be on their way to meet you but likely be stopped outside the throne room by guards."

"Yeah, well that concludes everything, right?"

"No, my lord. Emperor has requested your presence in the Royal Court, It's something serious I expect."

"No, that fatty just wants to observe me, he wants to see if I am all barks or bite."

"And my lord, is this your baby with Lady Vanessa?"

"Yes, he is. Call everyone important to the throne room. I want to make an announcement."

"Yes lord."

Soon after that many people gathered in the throne room. Everyone had a surprised expression after seeing the baby in his arms. Only a few people had known about the baby. But only Morris, eleven knights and his wives knew the true story. These were the only people he trusted.

All of them bowed to him. He smiled quietly as three individuals dashed to the front.

"Daddy, where's the baby?"

"Keep quiet Nancy! This is the courtroom, not your room."

"Don't worry brother. Daddy is here, no one has the guts to say anything."

The three individuals were Nancy, Maze and Nyris. Always with a dramatic entry. They came to know about their younger sibling from their moms. They rushed to the throne to get the first glimpse of the baby.

"So cute...."

"I think he will be much more handsome than you brother."

"Yeah...ah I mean no, he has pretty good eyes but he's still a child."

"What have I told you about the rules in public. You will get punished for this. Let me think...aa yes, your half allowance will cut down for a month."

With Zeidan's words, their excitement got down. They knew rebutting would only end up in an increase in punishment. Zeidan got up from his throne and held the baby high in the air.

"This is my legitimate son, Zain Bane. His mother died, so he's staying here. So, does anyone have any objection......thought so, now go back to your work."

Although many had questions in their minds but still they decided not to ask and leave. A few minutes later, only the kids, Morris, two of his wives and his eleven followers were left in the hall. These were the only people who could ask him any questions. One by one they started inspecting the baby.

His wives were gifted to him when he defeated the allied army of nobles by them. They were just two innocent girls who were used as bargaining chips. But when Zeidan met them his perspective changed and he decided to marry them. Actually, it also kinda helped him to overthrow two nobles and claim their land, so there's that. But the two still live a great life in the Bane family.

They were mesmerised by how cute Zain was. After their children grew up, they would spend most of their time away from them. So, now they have another kid to spend time with.

His eleven followers were known as 'Death Knights'. Zeidan had many adventures in his life with that also came trusted allies. Raiser the Reaper was the most terrifying of them, no one knew where he came from, just that his double-sided axe could even cut through an epic being. The others were also very powerful with similar strengths. Suddenly, One of them called Valtar, a mage had a troubled expression.

"Lord, what....this..I..can't..cough"

Everyone's attention turned towards him. He coughed a lot of blood and got down on the ground. This was a super epic being who was coughing blood, not a common man. It was surprising how could he be hurt so much.

"Valter, what happened?"

"Sorry my Lord, I didn't expect the little fellow to be this strong, when I tried to use my energy to analyse his body, it actually backfired because of his energy attacking me."

"Hehehe..."

The baby gave small laugh.

All people present in the hall were shocked. An infant baby saying his first word. This was also the last word his mother said before she left. On that, he was able to hurt a super epic being and after that, he was laughing. Which child in the myriad planes could do that? Zain quietly fell asleep ignoring the shocked faces. Zeidan got out of his daze.

"What are you all stopped? Don't you have work to do? Zain as he said.... he's sleeping!"

"But..but how could he just injure...."

"No..cough.. he didn't injure me. It was me whose mistake it was. While analysing a foreign body it is natural for the energy to backfire. But it is in case the of who have stronger power. Hahaha... I didn't expect this kid to be so interesting."

Just as Valter said this, Zain came to a realisation. It wasn't that baby's energy that backfired but rather his bloodline. After spending time with Vanessa, he knew that her bloodline was extremely powerful. If she fought seriously even Zeidan would at most stand a couple of minutes before her.

It was clear that Zain has inherited this bloodline from his mother. So, even if he was still a baby his bloodline couldn't be underestimated. As Vanessa had said that it was the bloodline of one of the strongest ancient beasts. After thinking about this matter Zeidan said to the people present in the room.

"You all know that this incident is not to be divulged, but still be careful especially you three. You kids have a great tendency to disobey me. Now, Ruby and Lily take the kids and Zain to the room."

Ruby left with sleeping Zain in her arms with Lily and the kids in tow.

"So, first about Marquis Renis, he could be a problem. Raiser takes three others and a battalion with you. I want his lands under me in four months."

"Yes, my lord."

It wasn't an easy task to be done in four months but it was Raiser who was assigned with the task. He was considered a monster who was fearful to even those in super epic level. He would definitely get the job done.

Next, he talked about the stabilisation of his territory as his growth has been very fast because of which many issues surfaced. He has fought wars after wars either on this plane or on other. Being continuously at war came with many profits and as many losses.

Because of these wars, he didn't pay much attention to his territory and properly use his gains which resulted in small problems turning into a bigger mess. That's why he wanted to recruit people good in management work.
