"Cause of his condition medics had to carry him out, he's being treated right now" Crystal said

"Maybe Platzen can meet him there" Zero said cracking his knuckles

One of his knuckles popped

"Oww" Zero said shaking his hand

"Nice try at acting cool" Platzen said

"Get ready" Zero said

Zero and Platzen walked down to the arena

"For our second to last match! We have, Zero VS Platzen!" Brock shouted

"So who's gonna make the first move?" Zero asked

"Let's flip a coin" Platzen said pulling a coin from his pocket

"Heads or Tails?" Platzen asked

"Heads" Zero said

Platzen flipped the coin it began falling near Zero

Zero caught the coin

"What is it?" Platzen asked

Zero opened his hand

"Tails" Zero said

"Alright im ready for your atta-" Zero tried to say before the coin blew up

Platzen continued to flick coins at Zero, each one exploding on impact

"How much money are you wasting?" Zero asked

"Not much, they're barely worth one silver"

Platzen flicked another coin at Zero

Zero caught the coin and threw it back at Platzen

The coin blew up on Platzen

Platzen stood there

"My own explosions don't work on me" Platzen said

Zero quickly fired a blast from his finger blowing up on Platzen

Zero repeatedly fired blasts at Platzen from his finger

Platzen put his hands in front of him

Zero kept firing at Platzen but the explosions were turning into Platzen

"Hm?" Zero questioned

Zero fired faster but Platzen advanced forward for only his explosions were hitting him

Platzen made it in front of Zero

"Anything I touch I can detonate" Platzen said shoving a handful of coins in Zeros face all blowing up at once

"OOOOHHH, THATS GOTTA HURT" Brock shouted

Zero stood still clouded by dust

His eye let off a green shine

"You wanna know something about me?" Zero said

Zero started walking toward Platzen

"I have never once" Zero said walking closer

"Felt any true pain since I got as strong as I am now" Zero said

"You would think it feels great, but that's the thing, you don't feel" Zero said

"I don't take any kind of damage, only my clothes take anything, hell they barely do now for some reason" Zero said

"I've looked for someone who could actually hurt me, constantly been excited when I hear about a strong opponent" Zero said

"You're definitely strong Platzen, no doubt about it, you'd be perfect for the team" Zero said nearing Platzen

"There's just one small thing" Zero said as he stood in front of Platzen

Zero grabbed Platzen as head and put his hand on Platzens chest

Platzen fell to his knees

"Augh auh auhh" Platzen tried to speak but couldn't

From Platzens vision all he saw were green shapes in an empty void

"Wh- wha-" Platzen tried to speak before passing out

"Agh" Zero let out

Zero put his hand on his own head as his eyes stopped shining

"What the hell? Did I black out after the explosion?" Zero said

Zero looked at Platzens wide eyed body laying on the ground

"Huh, I guess the guy blew himself up, liar they do effect you" Zero said

"Our.. winner is.. ZERO!!" Brock shouted

"What the hell was that?" Brock thought to himself

Zero suddenly was snapped into the void

"Hm?" Zero said

"Oh hey it's been a bit" Zero said

The Void took form

"What was that" The Void said

"What was what? The fight?" Zero asked

"Whatever you just did to that boy" The Void said

"Huh? Didn't he blow himself away?" Zero asked

"Your eyes started glowing green, you gave him some kind of lecture and he passed out. What did you do" The Void said

"I'm just as confused as you are" Zero said

"I blacked out and there I was standing in front of his knocked out body" Zero said

"Whatever it was, hone that power, you may find one answer to your question" The Void said

"Wait what?" Zero said

The Void began to disappear

"Wait it's an answer? Wait tell me what it is!" Zero said as the void disappeared

Zero snapped back to reality

"What was that all about" Zero thought, staring at his hand

"Shit why couldn't he just tell me" Zero thought

Zero picked up Platzens body and took it with him back to the bleachers

Zero put his body next to Crystal and Flash

"I'm up again so take care of him" Zero said walking away

"Are we not gonna talk about what just happened?" Crystal said

Flash put his index and thumb on his chin

"I don't understand what happened" Flash said

"Hm" Crystal said as both watched at Zero walk back into the arena

"FOR OUR FINAL MATCH, WE HAVE THE SPEED DEMON SWIFT, AND THE POWERHOUSE ZERO, WHICH CONTENDER WILL WIN THIS YEARS SCONTRARSI TOURNAMENT??? FIND OUT NOW!!!" Brock yelled

"You're definitely a cloud 9 member right?" Zero asked looking at Swift

"Can't hide that one from you, heard you came across some of our members" Swift said

"Yeah there was a Blade guy, a smoke dude, a small dude, a brat, a creepy giant, and a swordsman. Now we have you" Zero said

"I don't care too much about winning this tournament, hell I'm gonna try to kill you actually" Swift said

"No not try, I am going to kill you. Your ride with cloud 9 ends here" Swift said

"I can't die right now unfortunately, I've gotta kill your boss first" Zero said

"Like hell you'd ever compare to him" Swift said

"You're fast, but let's see if you're faster than time" Zero said
