"Looks like everything is sorted out" Zero said

"The octopus dude sure left a mess of the place though" Zero thought to himself

"Attention all citizens it is safe to enter the kingdom once more" a voice announced

"Looks like all the areas around here should be opening" Zero said

"It's him!" A voice yelled

"I can't believe it's really him!" Another voice shouted

"I bet he took down the monster with ease!" Another voice exclaimed

"Of course he did, he's the mightiest hero!" Another voice mreplied

"Who are they talking about?" Zero thought

"Thank you, thank you" A man said

"Who is that?" Zero said

"Hercules spoke to us!" A voice yelled

"I appreciate you all!" Hercules said

"Hercules...?" Zero thought

"Hercules, were you the one to destroy that monster?" Someone asked

"I don't believe that was me, I just came here to assist if needed" Hercules said

"Wow, he's so honest and brave" a group of girls said

"You there!" Hercules shouted pointing at Zero

"Huh, me?" Zero said

"Yes you! Come here!" Hercules said

"uhh ok" Zero said

"Did you see the brave warrior who vanquished that monster?" Hercules said

"Do I tell this guy it was me or no.." Zero thought

"If I tell him I didn't see anything I probably won't get credit for anything but I'll still be able to lay low, but if I do tell him I can get credit for it but people may think of me as a fraud... but I need to catch up in rankings so.." Zero thought to himself

"Uh yeah I killed the monster" Zero said

Everyone gasped

"My, so you young man managed to destroy such a powerful foe?" Hercules said

"Yeah he fired some meteor and I blasted it away" Zero said

"Hey, isn't that guy just some D ranked guard member" someone said

"Yeah wait, how could someone that weak beat a level 3 monster" Another person said

"Level 3 monster?" Zero thought

"This dudes lying to Hercules!" Someone yelled

"BOOOO" the people started yelling

"You have lied to me?" Hercules said

"No I'm not, I killed the octopus" Zero said

"Man this isn't good" Zero thought

"Listen son, I know you are trying to make it big out there but you shouldn't lie about such things" Hercules said

"'My bad" Zero said

"So this is the harsh reality" Zero thought

"Never show up here again!" The crowd shouted

"people will have bias" Zero said to himself

"Hey kid" Hercules said walking behind Zero

"Uh yeah what is it" Zero said

"I know you killed the monster" Hercules said

"Then why didn't you say anything?" Zero asked

"Because with your current ranking, I'm not allowed to make claims with that.." Hercules said

"What do you mean you can't make claims about that?" Zero said

"Shh, our government is corrupt and high views can only be put on those who have been seen in action or are told as heroes, so those who truly do kind acts are overlooked and cast aside for the public" Hercules said

"Well what's the deal with that?" Zero asked

"Follow me, let's head over to the pub" Hercules said

Hercules and Zero headed over to the "Heroes Cup pub"

"Hermès, a drink for me and the boy" Hercules said sitting down

"Why of course sir Hercules" Hermès said

"Hey kid how old are you?" Hercules asked

"Uhh I think I'm 16?" Zero said

"Ah it's fine I will cover it up" Hercules said

"Wait one last thing, what is your name kid?" Hercules asked

"It's Zero as in the number, at least I think I was named after the number" Zero said

"A fine name, Zero" Hercules said

"Now, are you gonna tell me about the government?" Zero asked

"Hey! Keep it down" Hercules said

"My fault" Zero said

"The way our government works is by a king who has let the power get to his head, as only Royalty are able to be known as powerful warriors" Hercules said

"So then how the hell can I climb up my ranks?" Zero said

"It's easier said than done but, you can prove the kings sorry ass wrong and keep defeating powerful foes to show your power and become S rank" Hercules said

"I'll drink to that" Zero said raising his cup

3 hours later

"And so I *hiccup* blasted the shit out of that *hiccup* dude" Zero said

"That isn't anything compared to *hiccup* what I did, I killed a dragon with like 100 heads that kept coming back" Hercules said

"Dragons are easy *hiccup* no matter how many heads" Zero said

"Wanna *hiccup* see something cool" Hercules said

"Yeah" Zero said

"Drinks on me!" Hercules shouted to the entire bar

"And a cheer for this fellow!" Hercules said lifting Zeros arms

"YEAAAHHH!!" The whole bar yelled

Zero woke up in a booth inside the bar

"Wha.. what happened" Zero said

"What happened was you boy, had fun" Hercules said patting Zero on the back

"Wait.. I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO BACK TO THE BASE!" Zero yelled

"That's no problem I can help you get back to your quarters, I'll give you an excuse, now follow me" Hercules said

"Wait do you even know which team I'm in?" Zero asked

"Oh yes, you are in the uhhh" Hercules said

"Green time" Zero said

"Oh yes that place I remember where that is, come and follow" Hercules said

"Hey is Hercules with that fraud?" Someone said

"What would Hercules be doing with him?" Another person said

"I'm gonna lose it..." Zero said

"Hey! Hey! This boy is not a fraud he simply mistook what we were talking about, he destroyed a.. different monster who fired an asteroid" Hercules said

"Oh ok, we trust you Hercules!" The crowd shouted

"And that is what fame gets you" Hercules said to Zero

"A bunch of mindless people who will believe anything you say?" Zero said

"Well if you put it that way.. kind of" Hercules said

"Let's just get going" Zero said

"Zero! Where have you been?" Crystal shouted

"Oh hey Crystal" Zero said

"And who's that?" Crystal said

"This is uhh Hercules" Zero said

"Wait girl you seen familiar, you must be the daughter of-" Hercules tried to say

"OH WOW WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT SOMETHING IMPORTANT IS HAPPENING GOTTA GO BYE" Crystal shouted tossing Zero back into the base slamming the door

"It appears she does not enjoy her origins.." Hercules said

"What was that all about?" Zero asked

"It's umm nothing yeah nothing" Crystal said

"Zero, a pleasure to see you back" Nova said

"Did you encounter an enemy that had you occupied for that long? That would be impossible" Flash said appearing in front of Zero

"Oh uhh no not at all I just.. got drunk and passed out?" Zero said

Everyone blankly stared at zero

"Aren't you.. underage?" Flash asked

"Well yeah but uhh" Zero said

"Oh gotta shit bye!" Zero said running away

"A questionable young man, but quite interesting.." Nova said
