《Player of Trials》a Little Too Big Snake
Advertisement
In the endless white world, a man wields his sword while sometimes covering it with flames or Qi. And a sweat drop drip to the ground with every thrust of his sword that sends wind waves in all directions.
[STRENGTH: 54>55 (+2)]
When his arms tremble in pain, this time man runs like he is the wind itself. With each step, like a bullet pierce through air, he runs with an inhumane speed. But it takes only an three hours before his limbs tremble like his arms.
[AGILITY: 51>52]
But even though all of this power, he is still a mortal.
It has been a few days since Leon began to his 'little' training and just with one word, it is "BORING" to him. Lying back on the ground looking at the white same sky after he completed his daily training, raises his right hand and makes his fingers have a mouth shape.
His fingers talk like they are living thing, "Hey Leon⁓! When are you going to complete the next trial?" his fingers asked to Leon.
"Thanks for asking Mr. J. Leon. After resting for a bit, I will enter the next trial," Leon responded.
"Hmm⁓! But be careful in there, okay?" his fingers asked Leon.
"Of course," Leon said before getting up after some deserved rest.
While equipping his gear, 'I think I should start writing my diary again or I will really lose my mind at one point,' Leon thought. After all, it has been a while since he wrote something in diary and he doesn't want to get out from here after becoming some kind of psychopath. Though Leon's body gets stronger, it can't be said the same for his mind. After all, humans are social creatures. Will Leon be able to maintain his mental health? Leon doesn't know the answer, but eventually future will show us.
[DO PLAYER WANTS TO GO THE NEXT TRIAL?]
Looking at the familiar scene for a few seconds, "Yes," Leon says.
[TRIAL-27 IS NOW STARTING...]
With Leon's command, his surroundings start changing. When firstly light gives shape to the trees, "Hmm, probably it will be a forest this time," Leon said while wondering what will he fight. As far as Leon has observed until this time, the creation of trials comprises three steps. First step, the creation of the colorless environment, or simply creating a shape. Second step, giving the created shapes a color. Third and last step, creating Leon's opponent or opponents..

After the light completes the first step, not losing time, within seconds, it quickly completes the second step too before creating his enemy.
After the light completes the last step, a twenty meter long snake with shimmering green scales opens its scaly eyelids to look at its prey named Leon with its vertical purple pupils.
"A snake? Aren't you a little too big?" Leon asks while unsheathing Tyrfing. While observing the snake, 'Analyze,' Leon thoughts.
[Green Scaled Venomous Lutheria Forest Snake Lv.13]
[Race: %99 Viper %1 Venom Dragon]
[STR: 65]
[AGI: 56]
[VIT: 29]
[INT: 20]
"Not just big, also strong too, huh?" Leon said while directly looking into snake's eyes as he spun Tyrfing menacingly.
*TSS*
Sticking out its forked-tongue to taste the air, the snake hissed as it moved its body as if responding to Leon.
[-25 Qi] [Qi: 70/100]
As snake sped up its slithering towards to Leon, Leon did the same and started running towards to the snake. Meeting in midway, the snake opened its mouth to bite Leon, directing Qi to his legs for dodging its venomous bite.
[-20 Qi] [Qi: 50/100]
Leon slightly moved right and channeled his Qi into Tyrfing as he swung it that opened a wound on its jaw.
"Oh, that must hur-," cutting his sentence, the snake's scaly tail sent flying Leon to crash a random tree in the forest.
*BOOM*
[-40 HP] [HP: 210/250]
Before getting up, as soon as Leon opens his eyes again, and seeing the snake's fang through its opened mouth, he quickly rolls to the left when the snake's fangs only pass by Leon, just with a few centimeters.
'That was close,' Leon thought when the snake hissed angrily for missing its prey twice.
"What is it doing?" Leon asked when the snake opened his mouth. Since there was no point in opening it when not biting, Leon wondered for a second before the snake released its toxic purple breath from its mouth towards Leon.
"Oh, fuck!" Leon shouted as he rolled again to dodge it. The toxic breath of snake covers the previous location of Leon within seconds. But unfortunately, some of it touches Leon's lower part while rolling.

[-10 HP] [HP: 200/250]
With an itching sensation, Leon's legs ached after toxic breath touched them.
"Ugh, really? Analyze should also show these," Leon said while dodging some toxic breath attacks.
[-10 HP] [HP: 190/250]
'Tsk, poison. I don't have time. I should quickly end this before this poison ends me,' Leon thought while thinking a way to kill it.
[-10 HP] [HP: 180/250]
After running from several toxic breath attacks, the snake changes its striking style and starts slithering towards Leon with its full speed.
Blade against fang, scale against skin, and while the snake constantly tries to bite Leon to death, Leon dodges them by using his Qi on his legs and body parts. After dodging, Leon strikes its hard scales with Tyrfing and opens a fresh wound on its enormous body. And sometimes Leon can't react in time and observes its scales closely before it breaks some of his body parts.
[-70 HP] [HP: 110/250]
[-50 Qi] [Qi: 0/100]
"F-fuck, I can't keep up like this," Leon said to himself while blocking another tail attack with Tyrfing before its tail pushes him back. Leon's body was messed up. Crush wounds could be seen all over his body, and behind his skin Leon could feel some broken bones in his rib cage along with some other bones. Besides counting, there is poison in his body. It is a miracle that he is still even standing up.
[-20 HP] [HP: 90/250]
*BOOM*
After being struck by its tail again, it sent Leon to crash to the ground. After the impact kicked up some dust cloud to air. Leon founded himself on the ground lying.
*COUGH*
After coughing some blood, Leon's eyes look at the dust particles in the air in pain.
"*COUGH* Particles... Particles!!!" Leon shouted as he found an idea.
Standing up again, Leon looks directly at the vertical pupils of the snake.
"Come *COUGH* at me!" Leon screamed to provoke the snake. Seeing its prey is still alive, snake starts slithering towards to Leon.
While snake comes at him, "Even if there is a 1 percent chance... I will try," Leon murmured while looking at his enemy.
Not dodging, not moving, not even raising his sword to welcome the snake, Leon just looks at it blankly. Raising his arm, Leon points at it before the snake bites his left arm completely. The snake lifts Leon to the air with its mouth.
[-15 HP] [HP: 75/250]
With his free arm stabs Tyrfing into one of its eyes. Hissing in pain, the snake exerts more force on Leon's arm. Knowing this is the last struggle of its prey, for killing Leon easier, while his arm inside its mouth uses toxic breath.
Seeing the purple breath leaking from its mouth, before the snake uses it, "Boom, bitch!" Leon smirks as he creates a fireball in his left hand. As soon as the fireball is created, coming into contact with the poison particles in the snake's mouth causes an explosion throughout the snake's whole body. The explosion sends the snake to hell while completely destroying Leon's body's left part, and sending him to the crash into the ground.
[-70 HP] [HP: 5/250]
The last thing Leon sees before he lose his consciousness is the inner parts of the snake that rain from above like a rain.

8 151# The Gemstone of Ominium 2 - Pain
Her unfazed expression didn’t even waver when the blade of her thin sword pierced one of the men all the way through armor, flesh and bone, a gurgling sound bubbling from his throat. With a kick she mercilessly pushed him back, freeing her blade, and glanced down at his dead body sprawled at her feet, confirming that death had indeed taken him. Stepping over the dead man’s body as if it were a mere pebble on her path, she raised her head just in time to see her second attacker lunge at her and, nimbly turning on her heels, she slit his throat. A spray of hot, sticky blood hit her left cheek and slid down her neck, but she didn’t even blink. The scent of the fresh blood filled her nostrils and her brain like an inebriating drug and she stepped forward once again, lightly turning to one side to avoid being decapitated and quickly returning the favor. One by one the men kept falling as she advanced, victims of her lethal, almost mechanical movements, as if she’d been born with a sword in hand and ready to kill …* This is a direct continuation of Book 1 - Denial. You CANNOT start reading Book 2 without reading Book 1, since the story won't make any sense! Enjoy ^_^*
