A/N: (If you comment anything from now till the 25th of this month, you most likely wouldn't get a reply from me. On vacation, and I'm trying to ease my brain, so I wouldn't be on web novel at any time)

Betrayal...
It was something Blade hadn't experienced in all his existence.
But, as they say, there is a first time for everything.
The fact that if he made one wrong move, he would face death, made Blade oddly calm even in this situation, the only thing he could bank on now, was his strength which he still wasn't sure the limit off, and of course, his partner, the only one currently alive and the only person in the group who he had previously thought was the most likely to betray him.
"Hehe..."
The sound of laughter escaped the lips of the figure next to him, startling not only Blade but also Alexandria, as she asked, "What do you think of this situation as funny!?" She asked a Dolion who replied immediately, "Nothing. But, to me, I find it funny how horrible humans are to each other. To their kind much less."
As if he wasn't a human that he spoke off. But, immediately after saying those words, mysterious markings began appearing on his forehead as his killing intent radiating from his utterly cold eyes intensified, along with the aura that radiated from those markings as one would mistake him for an ancient entity...
This didn't shock Alexandria and the bandits alone as Blade muttered in shock, "Y... You have quite a lot of explaining to do once we escape here alive..." Dolion replied, "Haha if we could escape alive, I would gladly do anything you ask of me!"
"You just needed to make it weird didn't you." Blade followed up as he raised his fists in a boxing stance while hopping around. Unlike most others, he didn't have any weapons, and he didn't mind it either, as he believed in body cultivation as cultivating the body of course...
"Let's go!" They both lightly shouted as they dashed toward Alexandria!
...
Even as Alexandria was on the ground, and blood dripped from her lips after receiving a powerful punch from Blade, and a slash from the claws of Dolion's gauntlet on her chest, she remained breathing as luckily for her, the bandits surrounding them had reacted in time to prevent both Blade and Dolion from making any further damage.

BAM!
URGH!
Dolion spat a mouthful of blood which went on to startle everyone present. It wasn't because he had spat blood, but instead because of the blue color of his blood!
Blade knew he wasn't watching the blood of a human. But, he also knew that he didn't have time to study this as using the short-term loss of focus by the bandits...
CRACK!
ARGH!!
Blade sent a kick to the closest bandit to him which landed on this bandit's neck. He could only let out a low growl before falling unconscious, with his neck bent unnaturally.
Blade didn't stop there though, he immediately spun his body around as he sent a punch to the bandit that was approaching him from behind.
BAM!
It landed straight on his nose sending him flying back a few meters. A smirk appeared on Blade's face as he realized he was fighting with much better fluidity compared to when he fought Latin.
The best part was that he didn't even practice Martial Arts in that time frame.
But, incoming danger quickly approached him as a fist was sent his way with inhuman punching power behind it. He didn't even have enough time to react, since it had come from his blind spot at the back of his neck!
BOOM!
The figure who had fat for five people and sent the punch toward Blade was sent flying back when receiving a powerful sidekick from Dolion, who appeared out of nowhere.
And before anyone could sneak up on Dolion's blind spot, Blade would then attack that person as the same could be said for Dolion.
The duo leaned on each other's back as they protected one another from their enemies that continuously poured from all sides and eventually...
...
*BOOM!!*
Blade's body was sent flying through multiple trees as it then skidded across the dirt ground before eventually stopping fully next to an already unconscious Dolion who had many wounds across his body.
The arm bone which had penetrated his skin and appeared in the outside world caused much pain and blood to spurt out, as Blade's hazy consciousness finally gave in, and he too, lost what was soo important for him to escape alive.
Tsk!
"Two brats caused soo much of a disturbance and soo many deaths..! When the boss hears of this, you garbage would have much explaining to do!!" An old man with an aged voice and a hunched back said as he felt his grey beard.

"Now, go get their bodies, the boss was ordered by the Great Master to give that white-haired boy a slow and painful death. We should also give his partner one too, seeing as he has given us much trouble!"
...
ARGHHHHH!!
His screams filled the campsite early in the morning as the green sun slowly raised to the center of the skies. It was these screams that awoke Blade who let out a light grumble as his body gave out excruciating pain.
The scent of dried blood permeated the air as Blade's eyelids shuttered, before fully opening revealing to the world, his pair of crystal blue orbs that gave off a resplendent light...
URGH!
Well, it would normally give off such a light, but right now, there was only an uncomfortable aura that radiated from it. Those eyes once more assessed his surroundings for the thirtieth time after that one night when he had chased after his group.
At the current moment in time, Blade had experienced many types of torture from this group of bandits who seemingly had no human empathy. Not even Alexandria, that young girl, showed him nor Dolion any sympathy as she watched on every day at his horrendous situation.
Blade, who had experienced torture once before, had given up hope of escaping this one, mainly because of the current situation he found himself in.
Nailed to a cross, the only thing keeping him alive was his Superior levels of Regeneration. It was something that also appeared in Dolion, but he was in a situation where he could care less for Dolion's life since he wasn't even in control of his own.
Next to him was Dolion strapped to a chair as his body was stained by his blue-colored blood. This chair was filled with protruding spikes that penetrated deep into Dolion's skin, and appeared on the other side...!
His nails which regenerated every day were now being ripped out with pliers as a figure walked toward Blade with the same object as he also began plucking Blade's own.
ARGHHH!!
It wasn't the worst pain he felt over the month, but the pain was still pain, and neither was he nor Dolion getting accustomed to it any time soon.
"So, how does it feel...?" Alexandria asked with a pondering gaze toward both Dolion and Blade who screamed in pain. The reason she asked this even though she saw the pain the duo was undergoing... It was mere jealousy of the fact that Blade had received more attention than her from those members of the Cosmic Punishers.
"Don't worry. Today is the beginning of some serious pain, and surely, you two monsters would find yourselves dead by the end!" She said while Zale slowly approached them, followed by multiple bandits who carried multiple objects.
Neither Blade nor Dolion's expressions changed as the inevitable torture approached.
...
Strapped to a table that had two rollers on either side, Blade's ankles were fastened to one side his wrists were chained to the other side. Standing next to the table was Alexandria as she slowly pulled the handle that controlled the ratchet mechanism which gradually increased the tension on the chain.
ARGHHHH!!
Blade screamed from the immense pain as his joints were dislocated and then separated as loud popping noises of his ligaments entered his ears.
The noises caused Alexandria's smile to grow wider with every second as she continued to pull on the handle. Many minutes passed as Blade's muscles were stretched soo far that were now unable to contract, completely rendering them useless.
On a table next to Blade, Dolion lay with his hands and feet strapped. His upper body was stripped naked as on his belly was a metal bucket resting upside down. Inside this bucket, three or four rats were left in confusion by their surroundings.
But, before long, immense heat began building up. On the outside, Zale placed multiple pieces of red hot charcoal on top of the bucket as the rats inside were left without any other choice besides trying to gnaw into the bowels of Dolion!
ARGHHHHH!!
Minutes later, as the rats escaped and clawed their way through his intestines, they were then taken out one at a time by Zale's men as Zale then placed the coal inside the whole that was made by rats.
The torture of Blade and Dolion is something that Blade himself was familiar with, yet this time, it was many times much more severe than back in the city with the family of three.

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

Slime of Gluttony
_____ ___, a completely and utterly deplorable person. Lazy, apathetic, and unmotivated. He spends his time as a shut-in, wasting his life away doing nothing of importance. This is the life of the man, a life of no importance. At the impulse of desiring food, he left his small and cramped apartment. Regretting his actions immediately, he was left with the prospect of a complete panic attack due to the numerous amount of people outside at that day. However, he pressed on, determined to find some sort of delicious food to consume. Life had other plans for him. He gets hit by a car, and after hearing strange words from an even stranger voice, he dies. However, minutes, hours, maybe even days later, he awakes, his senses of smell, sight, and hearing robbed of him. Author's Note: This is my first story on Royal Road, so it might not be the best. Although, I hope you enjoy! I'll probably write around 2000 words or more per chapter, but on average a bit more. If you're wondering, the cover art is drawn by me, just in case you thought I wasn't giving credit to the creator. This story might often times lean more into the comedy side of things, but stuff can still get pretty serious at times, especially in the later chapters. The story isn't super dark or anything, but character death is of course going to be a thing. Who? Well, you'll find out, eventually. Also, I'll upload chapters on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I hope you enjoy reading this little hobby of mine!

Midori
The sea of stars. The momentaneous lifeforms that flicker far away. Our futures — a sea brimming with light. Each and every shimmer in the starry canvas serves as one’s infinite opportunities in the vast sea of the future. The world, however, is far from the ideals of such a mantra. Complacency is the enemy of progress, yet to the four known nations, each one sees enemies around their borders. An example: A village isolated from the nation of Alkai prevents the lives of many from progressing. It’ll take a society, a group, even a whipped together rag-tag team to jump start the quest for progress. An escape from a motionless home—in order to search for a greater future, Mira approaches her blade in a new light. Any illustrations I use for covers and chapters are illustrations I have drawn myself unless otherwise stated.
