《Rise To The Absolute Zenith》Roommate...

Blade gains a room to live in. Shockingly, Dolion becomes his roommate while Athena and the two other females live in the female section of the Inner Sect.
...
"The Heavenly Demon Sect is generous and magnanimous so those in the top 3 get even more rewards. Their rewards make even someone like me jealous...
Those in third and second get the previous rewards, and also 24 hours on the highest floor of this building. While number one, well he gets 168 hours inside the floor.
The worst part for those trying to get the number one position is that he has been number one on the ranking for the past decade...
Every single month of the past decade, the number one was able to spend a week on the highest floor, inside the room of Life...!"
...
"Why would you do this? You're acting like a housewife." It had been a day since entering the Inner Sect and Blade had exited his room and entered the kitchen of his much more luxurious cabin where he saw the sight of his roommate already up and about. The most shocking fact being his roommate had already made food for Blade.
"Why can't I not? Is it a problem for me to make food for you? Or do you not eat this...?" Dolion asked with a saddened expression on his face. To Blade, right now, Dolion acted like a boy who had just gotten rejected by his lifelong crush. This was something that made him uncomfortable.
'Why is he acting like an innocent little lamb?' Blade thought while he squinted his eyes. That, along with his naturally cold and aloof temperament made the illusion of him being an icy mountain radiating intense cold temperatures.
It caused Dolion to shudder. But, Blade didn't know whether Dolion shuddered without control, or if it was all an act by this person who tried to act like a caring roommate.
'Seeing that he doesn't seem stupid, he'll know if I'm poisoned and dies, he'll be the main suspect.
Unlike the Outer Sect, unless it's a Death Match, one isn't allowed to kill their fellow Martial Brother. Offenders would be sentenced to death.' With this easing his mind, Blade sat in front of the plate of scrambled eggs and began devouring them.

A dazzling smile appeared on Dolion's face. His highly feminine features made him seem almost female.
...
"I wonder how they're doing?" Athena muttered when the face of the man who saved her from being a doll manipulated by others, appeared in her mind. Her long fiery red hair was now being combed and tied in a laced ponytail by a girl with an utterly cold and distant expression.
She had short black hair and a pair of hazel eyes and was called Alexandria...
Sitting in front of Athena was another female who had long orange hair that was being tied in a braided ponytail by Athena herself. She had Heterochromia as her right eye was brown while her left eye was blue.
"They're probably fine.
I mean, even though Blade is new to the Sect, he is after all one of the strongest in our group, while Dolion has been in the Sect for the longest time, so he is very experienced. I'm sure he'll properly watch over Blade." Brittany, the orange-haired girl said.
Yet, her words didn't end the topic of Blade as Athena continued, "Exactly, that's the problem right there. Dolion, I don't trust him. He doesn't seem nice at all, in fact, I could feel a hidden sense of danger whenever I see him!"
Silence...
Silence befell the room as no one spoke any longer. The trio of roommates only combed the hair of one another. Even if the others didn't quite understand why Dolion wasn't able to gain the trust of Athena, they wouldn't outright question someone who was soo many times stronger than them.
...
One Month.
That was all the time he had till he needed to start going on missions in order to earn Life Coins. The stay in the cabin wasn't free since, after a month, he would need to pay 10 Life Coins simply to live in it.
Of course, with a roommate, the cost had been split in half, so he only needed to pay 5 Life Coins while Dolion would pay the rest. Now, there were three ways he could go about gaining those coins.
After assessing some missions that he was previously able to get his eyes on when he was touring the Mission Hall with the Inner Sect Warden, Blade perceived that those who are new to the Inner Sect must first undertake three successful before they're eligible to be paid from Missions.

Even after that, the amount a Meridian Opening realm cultivator gains from a mission is quite feeble since they are paid in Life Stones. One must know that one Life Coin is 100 Life Stones, so Blade needed to gather 500 Life Stones before he could safely stay in his cabin for another month.
Of course, things weren't soo easy. Normal missions like capturing special beast eggs paid only 10 Life Stones. If he only used this way to gain an income, he would end up spending more time doing missions than in his cabin.
These facts made the first way possible but not something Blade would ever do.
Then, there were the missions that focused on killing or protecting humans such as exterminating a bandit organization that harmed the residents of the humans under the protection of the Heavenly Demon Sect or protecting merchants who pay for bodyguards to watch over them when they travel through dangerous places.
These missions actually paid very well, in fact, simply one of these missions could cover the cost of rent and leave Blade with some spare change to do whatever he wishes with it.
The problem with these Missions was the fact that they required people to work in groups of at very least, three.
Someone like Blade who had become a loner didn't like the idea of teaming up with others, especially humans. If they were of other races then there might have been a chance, but where would he find those people? Now, for the last, and most plausible conclusion.
Level 4 Meridian Opening Realm Expert!
Those who are new to the Inner Sect must first undertake three successful before they're eligible to be paid from Missions.
This was the case unless one was an expert in the Meridian Opening Realm higher than Level 3. Apparently, when one unclogs their fourth meridian, they undergo a dramatic rise in strength, so the Heavenly Demon Sect recognizes Level 4 Meridian Opening Realm Experts strong enough to deal with whatever unforeseen events in a mission.
Even if he wasn't yet a Level 4 Meridian Opening Realm Expert, Blade knew that he would be able to unclog his fourth Meridian in time to undergo a mission, and then complete the mission.
With this in his thoughts and now fully understanding what he needed to do, Blade stood up and walked into the kitchen where Dolion was washing the plate he ate his food from.
*Cough*
Even though he was slightly embarrassed, Blade drew Dolion's attention and then pointed at the plate he ate from. Understanding where he was coming from, Dolion smiled as he took the plate from Blade's hand and placed it in the sink.
Blade didn't want anyone to know but, he was unaware of the process of washing the dishes. Even if it was a simple thing, he had never done it in his lifetime.
Now, with that event out of the way, Blade's mind and expression became cold and serious once more as he remembered that feeling he got from Dolion when the two had just met.
Simply because Dolion listened to every command Blade gave, it didn't mean that Dolion was the little lamb he appeared to be.
With his mind cleared, Blade approached the room where he stayed as he opened the door, only to be assaulted by a disgusting smell!
It was comparable to the scent after one finishes a round in the toilet.
A round of sitting with their chins resting on the back of their hands as they shit with absolutely serious faces.
This scent reminded Blade of the night that had just gone by which he spent doing weird movements and following the breathing patterns of the Chaotic Body Supreme Art.
The ground and walls of his room were stained with black liquid and the air was permeated with a cloud of thick blackish smoke.
If it wasn't obvious by now, Blade spent most of the night cultivating and at the same time, puking up this weird substance that was still unknown to him.
Entering the room, Blade took off his black slim fitted turtle neck shirt, revealing his upper body that beautifully portrayed his physique that was what those in the modern days would call the rumored Greek god physique.
"It's time to begin cultivation!" He said while mentally preparing for slightly over three weeks of constant cultivation.
