I’m alive.
These words echoed in my head when I opened my eyes.
I do not know how I survived such a nightmare. All I remembered was me being full of adrenaline, charging through with the propulsion of an enhanced lighter.
The bulging eye staring deep into my soul was still clear in my mind. Its humongous size that stared on me from afar. With its unbreakable chains that covered my body and hindered my movement: the chains of which sucked the breath of life away from me, a coffin that’ll deliver me to my graveyard – I thought my death was near.
No… I shouldn’t be alive after facing such a monster. Someone must’ve saved me.
“Heeeh~? Livestock, you’re awake?”
A sweet yet monotonous voice was heard. A cool but emotionless hymn that was comforting, enough for someone to rest in peace.
Turning my head to my right, I saw an incredible sight.
It was a girl of my age. A beautiful young lady that enamored me. Her short hair that didn’t reach her shoulders was black raven, and her skin was paler than snow. The black irises on her eyes looked as if thousands of crows converged, murder could be seen within. Her small nose complimented her pallid lips which seemed softer than the clouds of heaven.
The beauty in front of me was ravaging on a piece of meat by her right hand, blood drooping from her mouth as she look at me with an empty stare. It was as though she was a puppet.
My mouth didn’t move but my heart showed my thoughts.
Gulp
Still lying on the ground, I put my gaze on her body. She was wearing a white gown similar to what the Greek Goddesses wore. Her figure could fuel the desire of lust inside men and women alike. Her feet was bare, and behind her legs lies a human that doesn’t breathe.

She was sitting on the dead as she fixated on me. I scanned the cadaver in surprise and my heart beat thumped. It was wearing a uniform from my school. The clothes was dirty as though splashed by a vomit. The garments was disheveled as if someone rolled on the ground with it. What I took notice of was the hand of this corse. It was missing its left hand and the stump was blackened like something burnt it.
Horrified, I took a gander at the remains’ head… and what I saw was myself creepily looking at me in the eye. Like facing a mirror, the dead man in front has the same appearance as me.
“Are you alright, livestock~?”
Her melodious voice was a bell that once again rang in my ears. This time however, I was too surprised that I didn’t even glimpse at her.
Her left hand howbeit, moved towards the me that she was sitting on. She caressed my face covered in vomit the same way one would pet a household cat. Slowly, her fingertips carefully tiptoed from my sticky cheeks towards my temple, then down to my open eye that doesn’t hold any life.
Her teeny tiny fingers leisurely scooped out the right eye of the corpse. A red thread could be seen holding on but it was severed due to the force.
She held the eye using the thread and delicately put it towards her mouth. Still eyeing me as she munched on the exotic delicacy that made me sick inside. The sound of her eating the eyeball was similar to someone eating a cherry, how I wish that I didn’t see her cold sweat-inducing act.
The frightening actions didn’t stop there. She once again dipped her hand on the now-empty socket overflowing with blood and swirled her finger around. Gently, blood covered her index. She stopped feasting on the flesh for a bit and instead licked the bloodied lefty, savoring my taste. The little red that congealed on her lips was like a premium lipstick.

After this, she once again gnawed at the flesh. She said while her mouth was still full: “Yowr hawnd ish delishous~, Laybstok~.”
My hair stood at its end and my mouth started to dry. I slowly backed away from her, crawling while still watching her intensely, could I run away from her?
“You… what.. what are you!?”
I’m trembling. This girl is a cannibal…she’ll kill me— no she will eat me! Fuck! I couldn’t feel my limbs! This isn’t… this isn’t good!
I perspired. She still haven’t took her gaze away from me, she swallowed my crunched up flesh.
“I saved you,” she said flatly. She continued: “Do you know why~?”
I didn’t answer, rather, it’s my teeth that chattered.
“Without her powers, you’re like the other mortals~. How disappointing, Livestock~.” Her chin was resting on both of her hands which in turn was placed on her thighs. The lazy appearance she gave made me think that I really was just a livestock.
“I… I—”
“Look at your left hand.”
“This!”
“Indeed~, not only did I save you, I also gave you a new body~. Shouldn’t I get to eat your previous vessel as a reward for all of this~?”
“Huh…”
I was confused. No, with all the horrors I faced, how could I be so petrified? This girl is just a powerful cannibal so why am I so daunted? No, my body was being eaten in front of me so it’s norma—
“Haaaah~ you’re disappointing me a little too much, Livestock. Don’t go overboard or I’ll eat you,” she said icily with her emotionless voice.
Suddenly, something of which shouldn’t be thought of by a normal person came to my mind.
“You… I want my blackened forearm back.”
“Heeeeh~? You still want your body back~?”
“No, I just want my wrist to be like that.”
“What?”
“I said, I want my arm to be like that… just because it deviated from normal.”
What the hell am I saying?
Wait, did her pupils just turned into hearts?
