《The Genre of My Life Was Randomized?》Chapter 4 is Pure Action

The tight shackles that bounded me was unbreakable with my measly strength. I tried to resist as much as I could but it was really impossible to break out.
My resistance didn’t result into my escape but rather pain and misery instead. The chains tightened causing me to wince.
Crack!
I felt my ears tingled as it heard a glass breaking in this vacuum of void.
My eyes widened uncontrollably as mortality came back to me. Emotions started flowing back a little after my survival instinct returned.
It could be remembered that because of the powerful female immortal, time seemed to had stopped – rendering my instincts and emotion gone.
Though I couldn’t think of how it was possible for me to still be able to use two of my senses, mainly the sight as I’m unsure of whether I only heard the Goddess or the glass cracking due to supernatural reasons.
Suddenly, the chains tightened once more which woke me up in my sudden trance. I was shocked at how I could still daydream at a time like this. The wheel with an eye on the center was still looking at me. I couldn’t see any emotions surfacing on the eye itself other than a child-like curiosity towards me. There’s no malice but I felt that this wheel would be my doom if I don’t do anything.
Alongside the grip of the chain being stronger was my humanity coming back to me faster. My mouth was dry, my nose unable to inhale oxygen nearby. I was panicking. It was as if I’m under the ocean – drowning as a sea monster dragged me down to the Earth’s crust hidden under the sea.
Then, the feeling of touch came back. It was very dull at first but I was able to feel the pain of being constricted. Now that it fully came back, my left wrist felt immense pain. I looked down to see why it hurts and I was greeted by an empty stump. The wrist was now spurting out blood like a fountain, giving color to the black void whilst turning me into a white canvas at the same time. Luckily for me, one of the chains surrounding my body was placed right on top of the forearm thus slowing its bleeding down.

However, with all this said, I was still feeling fear. Afraid of the fact that this was the time for me to die, that the eye staring at me would be my final destination. Tears came out, my face cringed, saliva drooping out and flying everywhere. Was there really no hope?
Unexpectedly, I felt a change in motion. Instead of downward, I was slowly being dragged to the side. I was confused but my heart dropped when I figured out what would happen.
The chains moved like it was a whip. I was thrown away from the eye as if a toy that a child was bored off. I don’t know if I should be happy or not but the feeling of being catapulted away was incredibly scary. Not to mention the now-bursting-with-blood arm of mine was making a bloody trail as if I’m a comet in space. I could only be thankful that there’s no air in here or else my face would surely be ripped off due to air resistance.
I flew to nowhere, far away from the eye. I started slowing down. My eyes still releasing tears darted around until I finally found the massive eye. It was still looking at me in a perspective only possible if it threw me upward.
I still couldn’t breathe. Unable to calm down, My consciousness are slowly getting faint as dizziness struck my head. I don’t want to die… I don’t want to die!
My brain started to go overboard in trying to think of how I could escape this nightmare. Wait! I have a lighter! I reached to my black pants but I paused. This is a vacuum so how would a lighter work? I gritted my teeth, I have to try!
I took the lighter with force and raised my left wrist, the lighter directly below it. I screamed: “Please work!” but no voice came out of my mouth. I need to hurry, as my mortality is coming back, so do my death! I’m slowly starting to feel cold and I’m sure that if I dillydallied more, the Goddess’ power would be gone!

With my fingers on the lighter, I pressed the button hurriedly and a spewing flame comparable to a flame thrower— no, a dragon’s breath came out which surprised me.
Pain, pain, pain. I felt the burning and searing pain on my flesh. Fuck! It hurts! It fucking hurts! Uaghh!
My body jolted due to the burn. I only pressed the button as even I had no hopes that it’ll work. But contrary to my expectations, not only did it work, it’s output also increased. The fire it spew was also enough to drain the lighter of its gas, but I could still feel the weight of it as if it wasn’t even used.
Now that the blood was stopped. I glanced at my forearm and all I saw was charcoal black. This achievement still didn’t save me from my current situation but I discovered one thing.
This lighter… could be used for my vengeance! With the light tap before that I did, I was moved downward. The lighter propelled me.
A plan came up in my head which I immediately followed. I held the lighter with my two arms right on my belly and showed my back to the eye. My eyes glistened with insanity as I hold the button of the lighter hard.
Fire of great amount suddenly flew out of the lighter, propelling me towards the eye. Closer and closer, I looked back and saw the eye still staring at me. Feeling the distance between us shorten, I mouthed as I was being propelled.
“Let’s die together you fucking bastard!”
