Sachi contemplated how much to tell when she heard her mother again "You seemed to have changed in the past few days, I can feel your energy and completely different from before. If I did not have the blood resonance and my feelings then I would have thought that you were someone disguised as my daughter"
"Blood resonance?"Sachi hear it for the first time.
"Yes, where do you think your water magic has come from? I am a water mage" she said smiling. "Because of it I have a blood resonance spell."
Sachi was shocked.
"But I saw you use fire and water magic which were low level for house uses" Sachi asked
Her mother laughed "little girl because I did not show myself don't look down on your mother, you do not know much about me."
"When I was your age, I was the rebel in my family" she said proudly.
Sachi looked at her mother weirdly.
"You do not believe me?" her mother guessed looking at Sachi's eyes.
"You are my mother so I will believe everything" Sachi replied smiling.
"Now enough about me, I want to know about you" She said to her daughter patting Sachi's head.
"Well you can say that my adventure was not pleasant I nearly touched the death door and returned back and something unbelievable and unexpected things happened which changed me completely. So I decided from now on I will take my own path and I will write my own fate."
Sachi's mother was surprised at her daughter's declaration.
As they conversed, Sachi heard some disturbance from far away and her senses were alarmed her highly of the coming danger.
Sachi's mother turned her head to left and her eyes narrowed as she detected a presence from far away. However the person on the other side also detected something.

Though the presence was not on her level she cannot underestimate her enemy. She tried to think of a way as she took out a map from her pouch.
Sachi felt the presence was nearing them fast. Without thinking she caught the horses and motioned her hand as though throwing a stone and then caught her mother's hand who was looking at the map seriously and jumped.
As soon as she landed on the Island her mother's hand slipped from her as she fell on her knees, the horses lay flat on the ground moaning in pain. Sachi was shocked to see this scene.
The system notification sounded in her head "Intruder alert, three unknown presence on the island, should the targets be eliminated yes/no"
Sachi panicked and shouted quickly "System wait that's my mother"
Sachi's mother was on the ground on her knees sweating profusely as a powerful energy forced her down threatening her life. She had no doubt that the power will kill her if it wanted. With great difficulty she raised her head to look for her daughter and what she saw made her drop to the ground.
As her bones creaked as though they were going to break, she was unable to move her eyes from her daughter who was standing normally without any pressure or discomfort.
Then she heard Sachi's voice shouting to someone saying it was her mother, suddenly the pressure decreased. Though the force was still present she was able to breathe now.
As she took two gulps of air she was shocked by the pure energy in the air. The magic in the air was very concentrated.
In the meantime Sachi was trying to talk to the system. "Would you like to allow the unknown presence or would you like to imprison her."

"Allow, allow she is not a threat and prisoner" she shouted again in a reply.
"Please do not reveal the presence of the system in you?" the system warned her.
"Okay" Sachi replied easing her stiffened shoulders, because she the last sentence meant the system and the island allowed her mother's presence.
"Then please enter the name of the participant to allow her officially" the system informed.
"Her name is Lori, Lori Poalm" Sachi informed.
Sachi's mother looked at her daughter's face as it changed from shock to panic and then slight relief. Then she heard her talking to some invisible presence. She thought about her daughter's words and decision.
As she heard her say her name, she wanted to correct her daughter and opened her mouth revealing her full name for the first time "Lori Van Dyna Poalm from Dyna family"
The system quickly registered the name and the pressure on Sachi's mother disappeared. Sachi felt relived and tried to help her mother get up.
The pressure on the horses also disappeared however they did not get up, also one of the horse was shivering. The horse belonged to Lori; also Queen was standing on it looking at the horses.
Lori and Sachi saw the bird. "Queen do not scare them, they can be considered friends as they helped us" said Sachi.
The bird looked up and screeched in joy seeing Sachi. But her look changed to curiosity as she saw Sachi's mother.
Queen quickly flew and landed on Sachi's shoulder, completely ignoring the horses. She tilted her headed from side to side as she examined Lori.
Sachi helped her mother into the wooden house she built for herself.
Lori sat on the bed while Sachi pulled a chair for herself. Lori had a lot of questions but she did not think it was appropriate to pry into her daughter's secrets. However she understood one thing that her daughter encountered a fruitful chance.
Sachi looked at her mother for a minute and then sighed "Queen this is my mother Lori, Mother this is Queen my partner" She introduced each other.
Queen looked at her very curiously and then tried to speak "Gr...a...nd mother" and sent an image of Lori's expression to her mind.
Lori was stunned at the voice and image. Sachi smiled at her mother's stunned expression, because she was the same at first.
"Grandmother?" Lori looked puzzled.
"Well the story is like this we were attacked and I was injured and when my soul was about to enter the underworld, it was pulled into this island and given a chance at life once again. Then I was given this little rascal as gift. It hatched for me after taking my blood. So it calls me mother. That's why you became her grandmother." She explained in few sentences.

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)
