The 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament has just ended with Goku flying off on Nimbus with his new wife Chi-Chi! The remains of what’s left of the tournament are where our remaining heroes were, staring off at the flying couple. Chiaotzu just reunited with his best friend Tien after coming out of the hospital. After being hospitalized by his former senior disciple Tao Pai Pai, he’s come to a startling realization and understanding. He was weak and he was also afraid of dying again! He was helpless against Tao Pai Pai in their match and lost in one hit! How could he call himself a martial artist like his best friend Tien if he was so weak?!
No longer would Chiaotzu allow himself to be so weak. He knows for a fact that if it wasn’t for Tao Pai Pai’s obsession with getting revenge on Goku, he would be dead again! After dying to the evil Demon King Piccolo, Chiaotzu never thought he would be so close to brushing with death again but the world isn’t always so forgiving. This time, he would train himself so hard that he’ll never be in a position where death is an option for himself.
And to do that, he’ll need the help of some magical balls. Since the dragon balls take a year to reuse, he’ll get as many wishes as he wants to become strong! Starting right now!
“Hey, Bulma! Can I borrow the dragon radar?” He flew over to Bulma.
“Why?” She asked.
“Yeah, why do you need the dragon radar Chiaotzu? You planning on wishing for something?” Krillin asked.
“Yeah, but it’s a secret!”
“Fine, here ya go. I’m not planning on wishing for anything anytime soon.” Bulma gave a helpless smile and handed the dragon radar over to Chiaotzu.
“Thanks, Bulma! Hey Tien, I'm going to go looking for the dragon balls! I’ll be back after I’m done, okay?!” Chiaotzu waved goodbye to Tien.
“Alright, buddy. I’ll be waiting. Don’t take too long.” Tien waved back as Launch hung onto his arm, making his cheeks slightly redden but his face stayed the same.
“Hey Bulma, why did you have the dragon radar with you?” Krillin asked.
“Just in case something bad happened but since Goku was here, it looks like everything turned out alright.”
“That Goku huh... He’s really turned out to become someone amazing...” Yamcha sighed.
“Looks like we’ll have to train even harder in the years to come to catch up with that guy.” Krillin chuckled.

“You got that right Krillin... And it looks like Chiaotzu is already getting a head start on us!” Tien said.
“Haha, we can’t let him get ahead of us, Puar! Let’s go back to training!” Yamcha said before feeling a scary aura behind him.
“It's always training this or girls that with you!” Bulma yelled before stomping off into the distance.
“Hahaha... What’s the big deal?” Yamcha chuckled nervously.
“See you guys around.” Roshi said.
“Farewell humans.” Kami teleported away.
…..
“Eternal Shenron! By your name, I summon you forth!” Chiaotzu yelled.
All 7 dragon balls shined with a golden light before erupting into a giant white light that shot up into the skies. From that golden light, the amazing magical dragon known as Shenron appeared floating in the sky! The entire sky was dark as if it was night time but it was still morning! Shenron was looking directly at Chiaotzu’s small figure floating below him.
“I am the Eternal Dragon Shenron. Speak your wish. I shall grant any single wish.” Shenron’s voice boomed.
Chiaotzu was amazed! The sight of the Eternal Dragon was awe-inspiring but he had to focus! He had a wish to make and shouldn’t get distracted. He also didn’t want to waste the time of the almighty dragon. He’s spent weeks gathering these dragon balls all for this first wish. This wish will put his fears and worries to rest.
“I wish to be able to heal from any injury! Even if I'm cut into a million pieces or blown to tiny little bits, I wish to return back to my original state quickly!” Chiaotzu yelled.
“Your wish has been granted. Farewell.” Shenron disappeared back into the dragon balls and they shot off in 7 different directions at fast speeds.
A joyful smile was on Chiaotzu’s face. Now that his first wish was granted, it was time to start training. He has an entire year before he can use the dragon balls again and won't waste this time doing nothing. Currently, his greatest strength is his telekinesis. His martial arts and body aren’t his strongest but he’ll get to those in time. For now, he should perfect what he is naturally good at and then later on work on those two.
Chiaotzu flew off to a dangerous region filled with giant and deadly animals and no humans anywhere nearby. His telekinesis could attack someone’s internal organs but besides that, it could only do rather simple and basic things. Chiaotzu plans to train his telekinesis to a height never seen before by anyone! The first thing he plans to start with is something simple. Like increasing how much he can lift with his psychic power. Then he’ll go on to increasing the range of his telekinesis and then increasing how long he can use his psychic power and then increasing how precise he can control his psychic power and then increasing his reaction speed with his telekinesis and then!!! Perfecting it to a godly level where his psychic power would be unmatched by anyone on Earth!

“Let’s do this!!! The next time Tien sees me, he won’t even recognize me from how strong I'll be!” Chiaotzu let off a motivational cheer for himself and started lifting numerous rocks from the ground.
He pulled at the ground with his mental energy and increased the size of the rocks more and more. He would’ve loved to say he lifted a rock the size of a mountain on his first try but that obviously didn’t happen. He could only lift 2 rocks that were the size of people before hitting his weight limit. In front of him laid a gigantic rock mound. A rock mound that made him look like a tiny ant next to it. Chiaotzu promised to be able to lift something of that size by the end of his training. That rock mound was probably over 100x his size but Chiaotzu didn’t let a little thing like that scare him.
He held his telekinetic grip on the rocks. He could feel the painful strain on his mind threatening to rip his mind apart but knew he could hold on even longer. This may have been his limit before his wish but after his wish, he wasn’t even close to his real limit! His brain could tear itself in half trying to hold these 2 big rocks but it wouldn’t stop Chiaotzu who could now reform himself from a single speck.
It's only been about 30 minutes since he started lifting these rocks and his psychic energy was nearly drained completely. This pain was horrible but staying his old weak self was something he refused to do. Tien wouldn’t give up just because of a little pain and neither would he! Until all his psychic power is drained, he will continue to hold these rocks off the ground.
Blood dripped from any orifice it could out of Chiaotzu’s body. His eyes, nose, mouth, and ears all had blood flowing down them but Chiaotzu knew his life wasn’t in any danger. The eternal dragon’s wish-making power shouldn’t be underestimated. It can even bring the dead back to life! The huge rocks Chiaotzu was lifting crashed to the ground in a loud boom. His mental energy has been depleted.
Chiaotzu’s vision was black and he could only feel pain. His entire body was pulsating with pain, even trying to wiggle his pinky finger would cause him to scream out in terrible pain. He dropped face-first into the dirt and the martial artist immediately blacked out. His tolerance for an 18-year-old youth could be said to be astounding! He might have gotten the ability to regenerate from any injury but that doesn’t mean that his pain tolerance was in any way affected by that wish! His drive to become stronger was truly amazing! He wasn’t kidding when he promised that he wouldn’t allow himself to be weak any longer.
The next day, Chiaotzu woke up after feeling a strange sensation on his feet. He rose like a zombie would from out of a grave and stared at the dog-like animal trying to chew his foot. The doggy locked eyes with him and continued to try and get through his shoes and get the flesh underneath it.
“Shoo doggy!” Chiaotzu used his telekinesis and send the animal flying like a rocket into a nearby cliff wall.
Chiaotzu was stunned. He barely used any mental energy with that push. He looked at his hands and balled his fists. This was progress from his hard training yesterday! Chiaotzu was about to immediately get started on training right away but the grumbling of his tummy stopped that plan right in its tracks. He decided to find some food first before starting his training again. He has an entire year before the dragon balls were active again for his second wish. He has plenty of time to train.
He planned to continue increasing how much he can lift with his psychic power till he reaches a limit where he cannot lift anymore no matter how hard he tries. Then he would move on to the other training he thought about before till he reaches the limit in those as well. Chiaotzu doesn’t expect to complete his training within a year but does believe he’ll make some really good progress after his third wish. By then there will be nothing stopping him and his maximum limit will be nothing but a joke!
“Haha! Just wait, Tien! I’ll become even stronger than Goku before you!”
