《Series of One-Shots That Might Become Their Own Series.》Just A Big Dumb Brute.

At a young age, Hinata understood how others saw him. Due to his naturally big body and scary looks, most people assumed he was big, dumb, and slow. Like the type of bad guy that always lost to the smaller, handsomer, and more popular guy in the cartoons. Sometimes the brute gets a chance in the cartoons but most times, he’s just on the evil side and complete fodder.
Hinata stood above the Judo Club Captain of his new school. He effortlessly took down the club captain in front of all his fellow club members. He wasn’t surprised by this fact, unlike the others. Ever since he was a child, he knew that it was better to use his naturally strong body efficiently. What was more efficient than learning martial arts in combination with his God-given physique?
“You’re amazing...!” Hiroto said with his eyes glowing underneath Hinata.
“Mhm.” Hinata held out his hand to help the guy up.
Hiroto took it with pleasure and pride. His eyes were shining so brightly that it made Hinata a little unnerved. “We’ll win this year’s competition for sure with you on our team!” Hiroto exclaimed.
“Is there a prize for winning?” Hinata asked.
“There’s an award and bragging rights for first place...” Hiroto was suddenly embarrassed.
“If you can help us win this year’s judo tournament, I'll pay you.” A small kid that looked like the typical nerd with glasses walked over to Hinata in his uniform.
“Every fight, you’ll pay me 23,000 yen. Sounds fair?” Hinata knew the extent of his physical abilities. Why should he sell himself for cheap, especially when he didn’t even have a job?
“Deal!” The kid grasped his hand. “My name is Itsuki!” Itsuki was glad he could pay someone like this to help them win.
“Hinata...” Hinata felt like he should’ve stated a higher price since Itsuki agreed so quickly.
“Did you just transfer in, Hinata? There’s no way I would’ve missed hunting a big guy like you for our club.” Hiroto asked.
“Today was my first day and I have somewhere to be. I’ll see you all tomorrow.” Hinata explained.
“See you tomorrow, Hinata!” All the members said together as if unanimously, they decided that he was the core figure of their team.
Hinata could tell that the guys in the judo club weren’t skilled at all but in place of that skill, they had a lot of passion for the martial art or sport. Those guys seemed to care about the judo tournament a lot, so Hinata assumed they cared more for Judo as a sport. To Hinata, Judo was a martial art used to hone his body and use his body’s strength effectively. Participating in competitions was a waste of time, the rules would only hamper the potential of his Judo.

As Hinata made it back to his locker, he remembered the crazy letter that was placed on his desk during lunch break. Somehow, on his first day, in this new school in a whole new city, someone was daring enough to challenge him to a fight. The sender called him to the roof of the school, a place normally off-limits to the students. Hinata wasn’t surprised that the sender didn’t give a shit about this. Delinquents didn’t give a shit about most things. He should know, he was the strongest one at his old school before he got expelled.
Making his way up to the roof, Hinata didn’t think much of the challenge. It wasn’t his first nor was it going to be his last. He did hope whoever this eager delinquent was, had some cash on them though. If they didn’t, someone was going home with a broken wrist for wasting his time. If there was one thing that Hinata hated, it was doing unnecessary things and leaving things not properly finished. It was because of the latter that he was expelled from an entire school district but thinking of the future, Hinata didn’t think it was such a bad thing to be so thorough.
Pushing open the door to the roof with the chain cut by something, Hinata saw that there was no one waiting for him on the roof. At least, that’s what he thought before he heard the sound of rustling clothes blowing in the wind above him. He didn’t enter just yet though. Something about this made him uneasy.
A bright glowing green light emitted from Hinata’s thick palm. Hinata gently placed his palm against the wall of the stairwell leading up to the rooftop door. From the inside of his hand, a spiraling form of energy slowly condensed into a green seed that planted itself into the wall. It quickly expanded into a large fleshy flower bud.
Nothing but darkness could be seen if gazing into the opening of the flower, however, from that darkness, Hinata knew something was being born from within. The sound of squelching meat and disgusting liquids meeting could be heard from inside if one held their ear close to the opening. But the flesh-like petal of the flower was filled with teeth and completely capable of moving of their own. Hinata has yet to figure out whether or not this thing could eat but in time he would find out. It looked like it was capable of it after all.

In no time, three strange creatures were spat out from flower. All of them were the size of children, they wore leafy masks with black eyeholes in the mask that covered their entire faces, and had differently colored robes that were tightly fitted to their bodies but still loose in a sense. There was one wearing black while the other two wore green. Hinata did not know the significance of the colors but just like with everything involving this strange ability, he would find out eventually.
“If it looks like I'm in trouble, attack my assailant together.” Hinata ordered before walking through the door to the center of the rooftop.
“Chikao Hinata. Commonly known as the Brutal Giant. Previously expelled for hospitalizing over thirty students in a massive gang fight. Has recently come in contact with the Outer World...” It was a chick.
A chick with easily visible dull-white panties from where Hinata was standing, talking to him about his past. Hinata wasn’t the type to go easy on someone because they were a girl. He believed in equality. If she wanted to fight, he would be more than willing to give it to her. But what the hell was this Outer World shit she was talking about?
“Your past reputation as a violent and brutal delinquent puts normal people around you at risk. As someone who has recently been affected by the miasma of Outer World, we can’t let you be while you still hold those abilities.” She somehow from somewhere pulled out a katana and disappeared from the rooftop.
Hinata instantly put up his guard, crossing both of his arms in front of his upper body and face. The back of the katana blade struck heavily on his arms. Despite her size, she managed to push him back! What the hell was this?! How could such a tiny girl possibly be stronger than himself? Was she like him too?
With a glance at his little guys, he nodded his head before engaging the crazy sword chick. It wasn’t the first time Hinata has been discriminated against because of how he looks or his past. He ran into cops all the time trying to mess with him back at his old school. The outcome usually resulted in injuries for the authorities or a threatening lawsuit by his mother. Hinata doesn’t start things but he properly finishes them. This girl will be no different for assaulting him.
She repeatedly slashed at him with the back of the blade before Hinata got fed up and simply gripped the sword in his hand. The blade cut into the flesh of his hand as he reached out with his other hand to grab at the chick. With her weapon immobilized, she quickly released her weapon and jumped back. Right into the ensnaring hug of the black-robed creature who latched all four of his limbs around her waist and arms. She cried out in shock, unable to react to this sudden attack.
The little black one glowed brightly before exploding himself and the girl. Hinata walked over after the smoke cloud cleared, relieved to see that the girl wasn’t dead. The two green ones walked over to the motion-less black one and started doing something to him. Their palms glowed with a green light as they stood over the black one’s body. Shortly after, he began to move and rise again before he was in perfect health. Then they came over to him, looking up at him, gesturing at his bleeding hand.
Hinata gave them his hand and a cool refreshing feeling flowed through his body as they healed his wound. The ripped flesh neatly fused and merged back together without any signs of scarring present.
“Good work.” He rubbed their heads. They made some sort of strange noise that Hinata assumed was out of pleasure? Maybe.
Hinata grabbed the chick’s long hair and her sword before bringing her toward the plant near the stairwell. The plant seemed ravenous as he brought her near it, some of its fleshy petals hungrily reaching out to pull her in.
