The warriors then prepared a plan to ambush the evil Kazuki that they've been fighting for the last two weeks. Even though the majority of them still have trust issues to the real Kazuki that came with his team, Aosuke pushed them to keep on cooperating to just see what will happen.
"Damn, I came back as a hostile alien," Kazuki expressed his frustration to his team while they were guarding their post the following morning after the plan has been decided, he then looked at Hikiri who was cleaning his blade, "Hikiri, what do you think is actually going down?"
Hikiri sighed and answered that he wasn't so sure. The man then looked far ahead into the distance, once again concern can be seen from his eyes. He appeared to know even more than Natsuki does.
"Quick, wear your mark," Kyuuto reminded Kazuki of the plan. It was to make sure that the real Kazuki can be easily distinguished if the violent one appears, then if the time comes, the warrior will strive to defeat him.
Kazuki then wore a mask and red headband to differentiate himself from the impostor. And as the team stood by, they observed every subtle movement of the city outside of the newly erected beacon walls.
For hours they only saw normal movement of the possessed that they could easily purify, but by Aosuke's command, they refrained from doing so. They were tasked to keep vigilant of the possible attack.
"It's coming," Hikiri suddenly sprang up with his keen eye. The team soon followed and prepared themselves. As they nervously looked at approximately what Hikiri was focusing on, noises could be heard behind a fallen building covered by vines.
Kyuuto unsheathed his sword slowly to focus on the noise, but after a few moments had passed, they only saw a female jaeger, walking unsteadily, with her sword clearly broken. The team could figure out from the distance that she uttered the word 'help'.

Kanata instinctively jumped down to save the girl, he carried the girl by placing one of her hands on her back. Kanata then began to walk towards the team, saying to the girl that everything's gonna be alright.
"Well, it's just a false alarm, isn't it?" Kyuuto put his sword back into its cover, smiling nervously.
But Hikiri didn't flinch, he didn't even take his eyes off of the girl. Then at an instance, his eyes widened, Hikiri then whooshed down with explosive force, stabbed the girl, then kicked her until she got pushed a few dozen meters away from Kanata, crashing into a wall.
The other team members are shocked in disbelief, seeing Hikiri attacking a wounded warrior. "What the hell is wrong with you?!--" Kazuki unsheathed his sword and conjured a slight of his light element. Once again the warriors felt nervous.
Among the rubbles, shrouded by dust, the team could see the silhouette of the girl, standing up again. But the shadow somehow transformed into a more familiar form. Hikiri then told the team to get ready, as the threat they've been waiting for... finally came.
----
Rin shot a flare up into the air, alarming the others. As laughs could be heard from the dust obscuring the injured jaeger Hikiri just attacked. The dust then cleared, they saw something unreal emerged from it. It was *Kazuki.
"Holy shit--- it's real..." Kazuki thought to himself. He gripped firmly onto his mask, while still digesting what's in front of him. It was himself, he felt like he was looking at a mirror.
"How can you even guess that?" *Kazuki walked away from the rubbles, adjusting his broken jaw into perfection once again. He then collected a sword from a fallen warrior nearby. Hikiri didn't answer, the team was also bewildered with what they saw.

"You are not Kazuki... stop impersonating him," Hikiri warned, while the wind blew hard around him, "I know who you are,"
*Kazuki then laughed more, he then changed into a battle stance, "I don't know what are you talking about," as he prepared to strike, the other warriors started to flank the area from every direction. Making him distinguishable from the real Kazuki.
"I see... you're trying to trick me now," *Kazuki looked around, picking a target to attack, "but sadly... I didn't come alone this time,"

Ursus Ex Machina
Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. The realm he was born into had been there long before him, and it would remain there long after him. Sure, there was the occasional madman who threatened to destroy it, but such boasts were always empty. No one individual was actually capable of demolishing this beautiful blue-and-green ball Ozzy called home. No matter what terrible magics these villains wielded, they were incapable of causing permanent harm to the environment. Even if the planet was completely devastated, it would recover. Life would find a way to flourish, same as it always had. That was what Ozzy believed from the bottom of his heart, so he never once felt the need to save the world he loved. After all, it was never truly in danger. The world would be fine no matter what. The people were a wee bit endangered, but that was another story altogether. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.
