The warriors fell left and right when fighting Akira alone, and even though they were helped by Yato and Natsuki, they couldn't match the immense power of that one ancient soul.

Yato's mouth was already bleeding when he landed near Natsuki to regather his strength, "I.. can't do this anymore, he's too strong,"

Natsuki was more determined than before, even though Ishigaki's body received so many blows, she still had the spirit to defeat Akira. She didn't seem to care about her host's condition.

"See? This is what will happen if you keep protecting him... he ruined our lives, he ruined yours! And now we're trapped in this modern world in someone else's body to do what? Ruined their lives too?!" Akira rambled as he threw a diseased warrior out of his sight.

Natsuki, triggered, launched herself forward and traded punches with Akira who's a lot more controlled than her. Her jabs and hooks were just missing and successfully blocked by her enemy. Her blind rage was just fuel for Akira to counter her.

"As I thought, there's no benefit in terrorizing the future..." Akira is still rambling while dodging and blocking Natsuki's attacks. Then he stepped back to dodge one powerful hit, "what did you do all this for?! Is it for love?!"

He then punched her right in the gut, "It's just for love, isn't it?" as Natsuki coughed blood from the impact, she's open for the next blow, "then that love wasn't worth it!!" Akira finished with an uppercut, throwing Natsuki up into the air. Akira then followed up with a boost from his earth element, launching him to the same level.

"Natsuki!!" Yato, still struggling with his wounds, jumped for all his might to block Akira's attack with his lightning blade. He was ready for Akira's strongest attack yet.

"Stop!!"

Kentarou's voice could be heard inside Akira's mind, halting his fist when he was about to hit both of the warriors. He then fell back to earth, holding his head.

Yato finally managed to secure Natsuki's landing, laid her down on the ground, he could see that her eyes (which are Ishigaki's eyes) were tearing up, "I'm sorry... I've done terrible things..." She then fainted.

But seconds later, she opened her eyes once more, the glow in her eyes were reduced. "Natsuki!! Are you alright?!" Yato tried to shake her, but at that moment, he realized, "I-Ishigaki?! Is this really you now?!"

Ishigaki nodded and coughed, Yato then ordered the Oras in the area to heal him out of the battlefield.

Distressed, Akira held his head in agony to block the force of Kentarou fighting back his will. Kentarou controlled part of his body to step back from the warriors and near the cliff once again, "I... already helped you!! Now--- it's your turn to help me... that's the DEAL!!"

"What are we gonna do now?" one of the jaegers asked Yato in distraught, as he was also already wounded.

Yato paused as he watched Akira getting more agitated with the owner of the body he controlled, "Let's get Kentarou out of there," he answered as he charged his sword again.

"Know your place!!" Akira stomped the ground, stopping Kentarou from getting back in control. The impact caused a great earthquake, and made huge fissures on that part of the island. Some, even the jaeger that was talking to Yato the moment before, got swallowed by the earth.

"This shit's getting real bad..." Yato set his position to fight once more, even though his wounds were hindering him to go full force.

Kurouzu meanwhile, explained about the background of this whole situation in his pocket dimension to Kyuuto. He elaborated that Akira was one of the strongest fighters from Akazaru, that he was one of the clan's defenders right up to Yamisuke's reign. He met Akira when Aotori succeeded in freeing the village from Yamisuke's deadly grip.

"I still remember the moment he thanked us for giving their clan a chance at independence," he added. But in the middle of Kurouzu's story, the black mist started to conjure lightning down to the ground, but still frozen in place. Its eerie presence made the two feel uneasy.

"Then what happened?" Kyuuto asked, while fixing his sitting position.

Kurouzu paused for a good 5 seconds, then he explained, "It happened one night, I was fully awake to find that my body moved on its own... stormed Akira's house and massacred everyone in and around it. The very thing I summoned to be the source of power, started to collect its part of the deal,"
