《The Noble Curse of Ookami [Previously Titled: CLOSER]》The Dark Turnover

"I'm sorry for messing you up this bad," Kuroyuki apologized to Kaisuke as he walked in a circle and eventually sat in front of him. He looked at Kaisuke's injured state and broken blade.
"Why... Did you do this?"
He didn't answer, he just powered up his nails once again and looked like he was about to transform. Kaisuke was terrified to the point of closing his eyes in fear. "I'll explain it to ya," Kuroyuki then approached the wounded man, and grabbed his head with his dark hand.
Kaisuke then experienced something he'd never experienced before, he saw Kuroyuki's memories. Trying to comprehend what makes him act this way.
After what felt like eternity, the flashes of memories finally ended. Kaisuke, still on the track to understand what Kuroyuki tried to explain to him, his eyes stared blankly at the sky, as tears fell down to his cheeks.
"You get it now?" Kuroyuki asked him but he didn't respond. "I hope you get it now. The things you heard from your leaders are just plain lies... Kyuuto isn't the person you sought to protect with all your life," once again, Kuroyuki powered up his right hand.
"W-What are you planning to do?" Kaisuke asked one last time.
Kuroyuki chillingly replied with a smile, "Disposing the evidence," he then waved his hand for a short while, signalling to the surrounding hunters to attack Kaisuke at once, and changing him into one of the zombies because of his wounded state.

The migrating warriors soon came about a different base. Because their communication center was completely destroyed, they can not report to the island just yet. The base they found was in perfect condition, there is no sign of any struggle. After a short negotiation, base 37 finally accepted the arrival of base 24's warriors. They shared their story of the breach, and soon reported to the school.

A few days passed, and Kyuuto's team settled on base 37 and made new friends. They helped the base to further be developed into their new homes. While some of the warriors are frightened that the base will breached again just like base 24. Some warriors from base 24 even had trauma regarding the breach and rendered them ineffective for any mission.
Base 37 was located near the Ookami residence, only a few blocks outside of the boundaries. When Kyuuto was mesmerized with the sight of the road he usually took while going to school, he remembered the past in which he was just a normal schoolboy gossiping about school with other friends while walking home.
Among them, he remembered one shy friend who rarely talks, let alone plays with other kids. He then realized that this old friend had been missing for years. Kyuuto even struggled to actually paint this person in his imagination. But his remembrance suddenly stopped when Ishigaki interrupted him.
"I've been wanting to talk to you," he said as he hold the railing of that building's balcony, "but haven't got the opportunity yet,"
"What is it?"
Ishigaki sighed, then told a story about his ancestor who had delivered him a message about her true intention. "The soul inside my body was close to the one within yours. She failed to keep a promise to him, and she lost him forever,"
"Do you know her name?"
Ishigaki shrugged, then sighed once more. "She never actually mentioned her name, when I asked, she just vanished. Our dreams seem to be connected somehow, and I'm not sure as to why my whole body didn't just get totally controlled by her. We have the same fate,"
It is possible that Ishigaki also has some sort of family heirloom to prevent his soul to be taken over, just like the Ookami ring possessed by Kyuuto. But they were not sure as to what really transpired when an ancient soul doesn't just usurp one's body.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Impressed at the Mage's efforts, an ancient, powerful being, the Creator of Gods, has now chosen him, to become one of the Dungeon Gods of a new world in a new segment of reality. Their directive, to bring life to this new world. Follow him, as he brings forth the knowledge his efforts awarded him, and pits it against his unprepared competitors, in a bid to be the first to create sentient life. This is my first full on story, and is mostly going to be a learning experience for me. It is going to be a story following the life of Arcius as a Dungeon God, with very few POV swaps, if any. If I make any errors, either in spelling or in grammer, please let me know, and I will endevour to correct them ASAP. I was inspired to create this story after reading the Scale Dungeon, by TheSilverGunner, here on RRL. It is a good story, despite having only a few chapter out at the time of writing this. I highly recommend that you read that story if you find this one interesting.
