Because of the intense force Kyuuto has given, Kotetsu's soul was purified in an instance, in a way others have never seen before. After stabbing Kotetsu right on his chest, Kyuuto went unconscious. By then, the others had just cleared the area from the infesting hunters, then gathered around them.
"I thought he was gonna die," Yato pointed at Kotetsu as he sat beside Rin. Her body was still weak due to the previous impact. Ishigaki also laid down beside her, holding his injured shoulder.
The day progresses, as the sun slowly sinks, Kyuuto finally opens his eyes. He was delirious for a brief moment, but was able to recognize his friends. He was surprised that everything he did worked on Kotetsu, even though he hadn't woken up yet.
"How do you feel?" Rin immediately asked him after he regained his bearings, "do you remember what happened?"
Kyuuto slowly nodded, then explains himself, "When my ring started to crack, I felt a strange burst of energy through my veins. Something I've never felt before, frankly because I was mad listening to what he said about our family," he showed Rin his cracked ring. The crack wasn't bad enough to actually tear the whole ring in two, but visible enough.
"Wait a minute, your family? Like you two?" Yato pointed to both of them with skepticism. Rin and Kyuuto then nodded, and explained shortly about their relations. "Wow, you should've told us sooner Rin," he commented.
Rin came back to consult Kyuuto after her short explanation, "Maybe that weird thing you felt was just blind rage. I... felt your emotion while I was away, and quickly rushed in to check on you,"
Kyuuto and others finally ended their mission, then flew back to the island, bringing some purified demons, as well as Kotetsu who remained unconscious through the whole flight.

Soon, Yuukai ordered representatives of the teams to gather in an important meeting about the future of the warriors. He said that the base of operation will be relocated to some sectors inside the city, they are ideal places conquered prior, with only a small amount of buildings severely damaged, the committee thought they are sufficient for the warriors to stay.
"Not all of you will stay in the new nest at one time. Soon, we'll increase the numbers if the bases survive for a duration we've set," Yuukai further delineated the details. He then turned his eyes towards Kyuuto, "this mission aims to provide better organization as well as easy access to the battlefield for further operations,"
All of the representatives agreed, but opinions among the rest of the warriors were various. But because it has been calculated that the island wouldn't be able to hold the increasing number of residents, the school committee has to look for alternatives.
After the meeting ended, Yuukai and Raizen kept Kyuuto in the room to examine his ring. "It's not discernible enough by eyes, but I felt the crack very clearly," Raizen expressed his opinion on the matter.
"It seems like something is actively breaking the ring slowly but surely. You should control your emotions, especially when you're not wearing it," Yuukai advised. Then Kyuuto walked back to his teammate waiting outside of the meeting room.
----
After a week of preparing, some 20 teams were sent out to the city to stay in their corresponding sectors. Kyuuto and his team were positioned in sector 24, the buildings are suitable to stay in, thanks to the beacons acting to reverse time and space. Even the interiors are neatly organized somehow.
"I've been in this place before," Kanata gasped as she remembered her past. The team was inside a studio for an entertainment industry. The sight and feel of the building forced Kanata to relive her past.
Kentarou approached her while looking at various decorations in the room, "What did you do here?" he asked as he held a giant urn.
"This place is where I stopped chasing my dream," Kanata answered briefly.

Junkyard Scavenger
Junkyard does not discriminate. This place where rejects gather is impartial to your past. Almost completely cut off from the Overworld, its limited resources put the residents at odds, as they struggle for each scrap they can get their hands on. You can decide to live in peace, but poverty, or try for a chance to leave. If you choose to leave, then be prepared to steal, plunder, fight, cripple, and kill if necessary. Gather items and become stronger. Crush your opponents as you take theirs for your own, and roll the weighted dice. Marco has watched for years how humans treat their lives like gambling chips. He saw delusion, confused with hope, and warnings falling on deaf ears. A million believing they are the one. Because don't you just need a few rare items to be unstoppable? Some EXP to dominate? Just a little luck? Surely, if you keep trying, fate will work out in your favor, no? Marco knows better than that. He's learned that patience is a virtue. He hopes others will listen; that they would learn. In time, things could be better. He plans to see to that himself. But when he meets Jeanne, their values clash. They both desire the same, yet their means differ. One would risk it all on a hunch, the other waits until the perfect moment. Does either understand the consequences of their methods?
