《Hello, Inside Monster》CHAPTER XLVI: ALL ROADS GO TO YOU

Standing up in bed, SinJu felt his head heavy. So, he supported it with his hands as if being afraid not to lose it if it falls off his shoulders. Then, he grabbed his hair and squeezed it that hard while mumbling: „To be a son of a whore, if I don’t get over this! Ah, only problems lately all around me.”
After this, SinJu threw the sheet off him, revealing the splendor of his naked body because he used to sleep without clothes even if he was sleeping alone - something that was unnatural for Min SinJu, who was always sleeping with a beautiful woman next to him.
But he preferred the solitude last night, even if he didn’t know why because things seemed to favorably work for him despite the fact that DooSan and SolHi were all the time only one step behind him. In spite of all this, SinJu started to drink a lot, almost every day, a thing that could be considered a recent habit for him and something that was often leaving him empty inside, powerless, and somehow afraid of the future.
„Damn anxiety!” SinJu swore, approaching the bedtable and pouring water into a glass from which he thirsty drank later. Then, he approached the bed, took the phone from under the pillow, and checked the text message after hearing the ringtone.
It was a message from Hion Uk, who was informing him that things are very good for them and that „the beetle had been squashed as SinJu ordered.”
„Wonderful!” SinJu murmured, drinking off the water. Then, he put a wrapper on and went to the living room where the breakfast was waiting for him.
The servant wasn’t seen instead because SinJu had the habit to spend the mornings alone. So, he was only demanding to the servant to prepare his breakfast and everything he needs for a hot bath, clean his clothes, and then vanish from the apartment, but to turn back and leave everything in place after receiving the information from the driver that SinJu left home, and in the duties of the maid were: to clean the house, to wash, and to take care of the plants, but never prepare dinner or lunch because SinJu was never eating home, except the breakfast.
Getting into the living room, SinJu sat at the table and pulled the plate closer to him, watching those two well-fried sausages, the fried eggs in form of a star, and the rest of the small details made from fruits and vegetables that were seen on other plates because the servant was good not only at cleaning the house and washing the laundry, but she also resulted being a good cook - something very appreciated by SinJu, who loved to be spoiled.
Then, SinJu took the knife in one hand and the fork in the other hand, and he carefully cut part of one sausage which he right away put into his mouth, slowly chewing it to gloat it. But the meeting he had a few nights ago with Hion Uk flashed into his mind. „Eee, it only spoiled my mood,” SinJu mumbled unhappily to remind this.
„Are you sure that it isn’t a risky movement?” Hion Uk asked him then.
„Since when I don’t do something just because it can be risky, Hion Uk? If I would have been so rabbit, I wouldn’t have gotten here and I wouldn’t have had this big amount of money in my bank account either.”
„Don’t forget about our parents, SinJu. Both, my dad and my uncle, worked a lot to leave us what we have today. We must be under obligation to them for everything we inherited from them.”
„To be under oblig… to be grateful??? For what? For all the problems that I inherited and for all the headaches I had while solving the problems he left behind? Let’s not forget that everything that happened to them was because they’ve been weak so many times or allowed others to trample them under feet.”
„Are you speaking about Han Min San?”
„Not only about him, even if he’s the one I’ve hated the most. I’ve lost a lot in my life thanks to him and also thanks to him I came to hate someone as I never hated,” SinJu said then with such a hatred in his voice that made him shudder and, after drinking everything from the glass that he was squeezing in his hand, he blew to smithereens both the whisky bottle and the glass throwing it against the wall.
But now, when he was thinking about what happened, he considered that he rushed forward when he decided to show his hatred for the Hans in front of Hion Uk because even if he knew that his cousin is weak and boggler, yet … Hion Uk could take advantage of all these in the future and what SinJu never wanted to allow was to be defeated because of his own weakness. „I must be much more careful next time,” SinJu murmured, thirsty drinking from the orange juice, freshly prepared by the maid. „Yes, it’ll be better this way. Nobody mustn’t ever at least suspect that I can have weaknesses or that I can be defeated just as nobody must find out ever the real reason why Ian SolHi and Han DooSan suffer now, paying for old sins that there aren’t even theirs.”

Squatting in front of the dry asphalt, that was still somehow shining in the warm light of the morning, Kan was carefully analyzing it for evidence, but there everything seemed normal as if nothing happened there only a few weeks before.
Inspector Yu was only a few steps from Kan, standing in the same position. „I know that a few weeks have passed already since the accident, but yet … the traces of braking aren’t visible anymore. Or … did someone make them vanish?!” Yu asked.
„Those traces you are looking for… have never been there!” Kan said in a sure voice and this thing amazed Yu, who stared thunderstruck at him. Kan instead looked at the asphalt. „I've been here… the second day after the accident, and I saw nothing on this asphalt. That’s why the alibi of the driver seemed to me untruthfully.”
„Do you speak about what he said? That he pressed the brake pedal to the brim right after seeing Iun Dja Iun approaching the truck?”
„Yeah. But… even if there aren't no brake traces here, where the accident took place, there are some traces of races, even if seen only a little bit, on that part… about 300 meters from the crossroad.”
„About 300 hundred meters? Do you mean that … he waited for them?”
„It looks like,” and Kan stood up, stretching his body. „But… it also seems that someone „worked” a lot here, after the accident, to „mask” the traces. And… he not only made the brake traces vanish. The cameras also don’t work.”
„This means that someone has been well prepared for this. Anyway, it’s no wonder: if they sought the prosecutor’s life, they had to do that nice, quick, and clean. We should thank God that they didn’t use something more dramatic. Like bullets, for example.”

„Do you think we are dealing with the Italian Mafia or what?” Kan told the inspector reproachfully. „Ours are milder, treading everything lightly. They won’t ever do something that obvious.”
„Yeah, never. That’s why our „witness” lays in a mortuary sack in the forensic doctor’s refrigerator. Because „your guys” are never capable of something so dramatic,” Yu said in mockery.
„Yeah, stop your drama! And … now, that you mentioned our dead guy - what about making a social visit to the one who seems to have „convinced” him to take that big step into the underworld?”
„Do you mean Min SinJu’s lawyer, at Ian Hion Uk?”
„Who else?! I would really like him to wet his pants only seeing us and knock his cousin off his perch. But … I doubt this. Let’s go!” Kan said and, turning his back to inspector Yu, he headed toward the car, with his head bent and his hands stuck into his pockets as if feeling guilty for everything that happened.

Sweetly yawning while stretching her arms up, yet with her eyes closed, SolHi suddenly touched, with the top of her fingers, DooSan’s head, who was on her right, supporting his head with his hand and watching her with a snigger drawn on his face.
That touch made SolHi widely open her eyes and, turning her head toward him, she stared thunderstruck at DooSan, mumbling a „what the hell are you doing here?”
However, DooSan wasn’t stupid at all and he also didn’t get his tail down. „If I were you, I'll rather ask what are you doing here?! Let’s not forget that this is my bed, actually.”
SolHi stared scared around because she was remembering that she fell asleep on the sofa. Then, fragments of the past night came into her mind. „The Ketchup!” she eventually yelled.
„Bingo! I like the fact that you didn’t even try to deny that you tried to take advantage of me.”
„I? To take advantage of you? When was that?”
„Last night. When you got into my bed.”
„Yah, don’t even try to lie to me! The one who brought me here was you!” SolHi shouted. „I remember very well that you forced me to stand up after I’ve mistaken the ketchup with the blood and instead of lying me on the sofa, you brought me here,” SolHi to DooSan. „You can’t accuse me now of taking advantage of you when you tried to do the same!”
„Ia, and … what would you have preferred to do?! To leave you kneeled down on the floor while mumbling stupid things such as „I’ve killed him! I’ve killed him!" and staring at that ketchup bottle?!”
SolHi hardly swallowed: the man was right, but yet - accusing her of taking advantage of him when he alone brought her into his bed, it was too much even for DooSan. So, she decided not to budge an inch. „Anyway, I don’t think that’s necessary to accuse me of anything. You are fine, from what I can see. I didn’t even „taste” you,” SolHi grinned.
„Huh, she didn’t taste me and she’s so proud of this! But … what about…”
„What about…?”
„… the fact that I’ve spent a whole night as a perfect pillow in your arms … while you squeezed me practically to her chest. For this, I think you should take responsibility for … confusing me with a pillow,” DooSan finished his speech in a murmur.
„Responsibility? Me? For what? I’m not guilty that you accepted to be my pillow last night. You could have just let me sleep on the sofa.”
„Huh, wow, this woman is perfect to ride the beam! Ia, Ian SolHi, tell me, how is it called when a woman like you and a man like me have spent an entire night in the same bed?”
„Symbiosis? Cohabitation? Benefit? Brotherhood?” SolHi stammered while seeing DooSan’s grimaces, listening to her words. „Yeah… I don’t know, ok?! Just… leave me alone!”
She tried to hit the deck, but DooSan grabbed her hand, forcing her to stop. „Where are you going?”
„Out of here, ok?! And … far afield from you,” SolHi hissed through the teeth, but DooSan didn’t release her hand. „Ia, release my hand! What did you stick to me like the leech?! Ok, so, what if we slept together?! Did I eat half of you or what? Or… maybe I forced you to do something?! Don’t be childish! More than that: you are an adult. I’m sure that it’s not the first time you are sleeping with a woman ... in the same bed, I mean. So… hands off me!”
„You are also right … that’s not the first time I sleep in the same bed with a woman, but it’s the first time I sleep without doing … anything.”
„You are lying!”
„Me?”
„Yeah, you! Or what?! Have you forgotten that we already spent the night together and that nothing happened that night either?! As I recall, it has been exactly the same bed, Han DooSan. Or … should I refresh your memory?” SolHi told him in a whisper, supporting her palms on the bed as she was on all four and approaching her face of his, forcing him to crawl a little bit back.
„What does she brew?” DooSan wondered in amazement, seeing her so close to him. „No, she won’t dare do that! Or maybe…,” he happily grinned. „If so, I won’t stand aside,” and, closing his eyes, DooSan screwed up his lips, waiting for a kiss. And … that kiss wasn't late to be felt: a pillow was thrown on his face when SolHi hit the deck.
DooSan frowned: „don’t you feel guilty for what happened?” DooSan appealed to emotional blackmail while hugging the pillow and acting like an upset child.
„Absolutely… no!” SolHi told him in a confident voice, staring at him while standing tea pot fashion in the middle of the room.
„Heartless woman! You don’t even feel guilty that you kept me all night long like a cat on hot bricks… touching me all the time when I hadn’t even the possibility to breathe, less to dream about … action. Do you at least know how’s this called?! A crime against humanity!”
„Ia, don’t exaggerate, ok?! It’s not that much.”
„Yes, it is! It is! Poor me… how do you think I feel now when I realized that I’ve been forced to only… sleep… only… like an obedient puppy… next to a woman like you?!”
„And?” SolHi said carelessly.
„Wow, unbelievable! If I didn’t know you, I would have said that you are the perfect copy of innocence! Huh, give me a break! I still remember our first kiss in the car.”
„And you’ve been only a poor bunny, who really disliked that kiss!” SolHi’s ironic answer was very soon heard.
„Well… that I disliked it… I can’t say that. But yet… I think that even women must be punished for such things and forced to take the responsibility.”
„Really?! And… how should I take the responsibility in this case, exactly?”
„With another kiss?” DooSan said innocently, grinning with pleasure.
„Maybe … in some other life, Han DooSan because you won’t ever feel something like this in this life. And … I assure you that I’ll do everything I can to be born in a world without you, only not to repeat the same mistakes, again!” SolHi told him feisty and exited the room, slamming the door.
„Really?! In a world without me, you say?! Huh, this woman is worse than the death is! What?! She’ll do everything she can to live in a world without me??? Dream, Ian SolHi because I assure you that I’ll do everything I can to make you realize how wrong you’ve been saying this, and I’ll make more than a kiss possible between us. Don’t even think that you can live without me. It’s not that easy.”
DooSan kept silent for a few moments. Then, suddenly, he plonked on the bed, having a hysteria crisis like a little child. „You are an idiot, Han DooSan! How could you allow the prey to escape from your hands? You are a real idiot if you couldn’t convince her to… at least do something! Idiot! You are just an idiot, Han DooSan. A perfect idiot!”
„Actually, I hear everything, DooSan!” he heard SolHi’s voice, behind the door. So, he decided to keep silent. Then, he murmured barely heard: „yep, ma’am, we’ll be as quiet as the mouse!” but DooSan was smiling inside because he was planning something really interesting for both of them.

„Aaah, finally!” A Rim said in a shout, laying back on the chair and stretching her hands aside. „It has been difficult and a lot of work, but it was worth it.”
„What exactly?” Yoon Suk asked dryly.
„We have money, guys!”
„Money? What kind of money?” SuJin asked in amazement.
„50 thousand dollars have been transferred in the truck driver’s account, or better to say… into his wife’s account. Two days after the accident. And … what do you think?! Right after that, she and her 7-years-old son left the country.”
„What? Do you mean that Nuna and prosecutor Han’s accident hasn’t been actually an accident?” SuJin yelled.
„It looks like so and … money never lie,” A Rim added.
„I won’t be that convinced of this,” Yoon Suk said thoughtfully.
„Why?” A Rim and SuJin asked in a voice.
„Just think about this! If someone really „ordered” the accident to the truck driver, why did his wife and his son leave the country before knowing something about what will happen to him? From what I gathered from Kim Mun Ho, nobody from the driver’s family came to visit him. More than that: she left the country without taking the money with her?! It seems illogical to me because her husband seemed to have hardly „worked” for that money. This is what I consider damn suspect.”
„And… who told you that she left the country without money?” A Rim asked.
„What?” Yoon Suk asked, suddenly jumping off the chair. „Do you mean that his wife can be also a suspect?”
„It’s possible. Otherwise, she wouldn't have withdrawn 5 thousand dollars before leaving the country. Look: it’s written here - two hours after the transference, someone withdrew 5 thousand dollars from her bank account.”
„From which bank?”
„From none. The money has been withdrawn from the ATM, in Starfield COEX Mall. It’s possible that she would have headed toward the subway after this and later to the airport. Why do you ask?”
„Because all ATMs have cameras. Checking that ATM, we can see who withdrew the money in fact,” Yoon Suk said while rushing to gather his stuff. „SuJin, send all the transfer details and the location of the ATM on my phone. I'll check the „traces" of that transfer myself.” After this, Yoon Suk left the room, slamming the door behind him.
„Do you think it's okay to go there alone??” A Rim asked. „I think we'd better let detective Kan know about this.”
„What I think is that detective Oh is a big guy and that he can handle this alone, but… if you insist,” SuJin said, shrugging. Then, he put on his headphones and started to work again.
A Rim however wasn’t at all convinced that it was a good idea for Yoon Suk to go to the Starfield COEX Mall alone. And… after staring for minutes in a row at a blind spot, she finally said: „And yet… it’s better to make sure that everything will be safe before acting,” and she made a phone call.
***
„Are you sure, A Rim?” Kan asked while he and inspector Yu were heading toward the entrance of the IAN&CO law practice.
„Absolutely sure,” A Rim’s voice was heard in the receiver and this made Yu curious, who asked Kan with his eyes „what was going on?”
„A Rim, please repeat what you’ve told me. I’ll put you on the speaker. Inspector Yu is with me.”
„Sure, detective! As I said: 50 thousand dollars have been transferred to the account of the truck driver’s wife, two days after the accident. Then, she withdrew 5 thousand dollars and she left the country right away along with her 7-years-old son. Actually, Yoon Suk is on the way to check the ATM where the money has been withdrawn from.”
„It looks as if the truck driver's wife and son ran out of the country. Or is it only my opinion?” Yu asked.
„No, it can be. But… why did they do that so quickly?! If he has been willingly involved in this… why has his family run away?!
„Kan, what if the driver’s involvement hasn’t been willingly and his family has been „convinced” by others to do leave the country, eventually?” Yu to Kan.
„Are you talking about his wife and his child, inspector?” A Rim asked Yu.
„Exactly. I found damn suspect all this… job. First of all: on that asphalt, where the accident took place, there are no brake traces, but there are acceleration ones, which actually seem erased. Then, the truck driver’s sudden death, right before to find out about the transfer in his account, and now, his family just left the country. The question is: did they really leave the country on their own feet or… they are still in Korea?”
„I must agree with you here,” Kan said. „And…if we are here now, let’s see what his lawyer tells us. I’m sure that he knows more than he says. A Rim, we’ll call you back later.” Then, Kan turned off the phone and both entered the building.
***
Approaching the reception, Kan showed his ID to the receptionist. „Detective Kan Gi Yon. He’s inspector Yu DoJin. Seoul Prosecution, the Western District. We would like to talk to mister Ian Hion Uk, please! Wow, sorry to talk to the lawyer Ian Hion Uk, if possible!”
The receptionist, a young lady about 25, started to stammer, listening to Kan talking about Hion Uk. „Yeah… sure… but… mister Ian is out of the country… for the moment.”
„Aaa, he’s out of the country!!! And… may we know when he’s back?” Kan asked.
„I think in about 10 days. The conference where he’s been invited has been prolonged and … there are a few personal issues he has to solve. That’s why…”
„I think he already solved those issues,” Yu said with irony because while Kan and the receptionist talked, inspector Yu stood with his back to the reception and watched the lobby. „There he is!” and he pointed toward Hion Uk, who was heading to the elevators.
„Wow, lucky us that 10 days flew like seconds,” Kan said in mockery, watching the receptionist with reproach while the young lady looked elsewhere. After that, Kan headed toward Hion Uk, calling his name as loud as possible, making sure that the lawyer won’t ignore them.
Before leaving, Yu whispered to the receptionist: „next time when you try to save your boss's ass, be sure he’s really out, at least out of the office. Or… better try to tell the truth to the people: it’s easy and … safe. Otherwise, you can swim in the same dirty swamp Ian Hion Uk is already swimming in.” After this, inspector Yu approached Kan and Hion Uk, who were already waiting for the elevator.
„Interesting people are working for you, mister Ian,” Kan said ironically while they were waiting for the elevator.
„Why do you say so?”
„Because they know so well your agenda… or, do they think that the Christmas miracles still exist?! As it was supposed that you are at a conference, abroad… instead, we are seeing you now, right in front of our nose.”
„Maybe he has already found out the secret of teleportation?!” Yu asked in mockery.
„I’ll suggest you not to make bad jokes about me, inspector. It’s only a misunderstanding. Who’s actually at the conference is my partner and he has left the country in my place due to some trials I must be present at. Maybe the secretary didn’t tell this to the receptionist, don't you think?!”
„Wow, and I thought it was incompetence only. Shame on me! Anyway, we’ll believe you, mister lawyer and if you need trustful people, don't be ashamed to ask for my help. I know a lot of people that can replace your secretary, and they are also very competent.”
Hion Uk, bothered by Kan’s commentary, slowly bit his lower lip and he entered first in the elevator, whose doors suddenly opened in front of them. Then, he pressed the button 25, after Kan and Yu were already in the elevator.
***
All the way to his office, after exiting the elevator, Hion Uk walked without saying a word. He only greeted his employees by bending a little his head. Meanwhile, Kan and Yu had decided to also keep silent, analyzing each face met in their way and trying to guess who of those people could unconditionally help the lawyer as the need arises.
Then, being already in the office with a cup of coffee in front of them, on the coffee table, the three men looked in silence at the other one for about ten minutes, while Hion Uk stood like a hen on a hot girdle and he’s been the one who, eventually, broke that ritual of silence and espionage, looking somehow irritated because he disliked the fact that the detectives came to ask him about a case he would have preferred not to talk about. „And yet, detective Kan, what’s the reason for your visit here? Not for nothing, but I have important things to do and…”
„Does it look like we have nothing to do, mister Ian? The police and the prosecution also work and not just receive money, doing nothing.”
„You are too sensitive, inspector. I was just trying to hurry up the things. I think that you’ve already seen the difference between my work and yours.”
„Difference? Which one to be more precise?” Kan asked curiously. „Is it because the lawyers can already teleport themselves from one place to another or... is it because after your visits people die?”
„Is this a direct accusation, detective Kan?”
„Let’s say that’s only a conclusion I've made by now. More than this: I’m interested to find out where’s the driver’s wife? Your protégé, actually!”
„My protégé?” Hion Uk asked, pretending that he didn’t understand the hint.
„Yeah. The truck driver’s wife. You know him… the one who committed suicide last night by taking poison. Is it because his wife „abandoned” him?”
Hion Uk smiled and, supporting his hands on his knees while he was clenching his fists, he hissed to Kan through the teeth and his right brow automatically raised up, as an interrogation mark. „I would suggest you get out of here, detective before getting into tantrums. I don't get how could you just come here without a court order, accusing me of such stupid things as killing someone?! Not for nothing, but … it may have serious effects for you.”
„That already sounds like a threat to me.”
„Take it as you like, inspector, but… without a court order with my name on it, I won’t allow you to talk to me like this. So, I ask you kindly to get out of my office because I don’t answer such stupid questions related to baseless and utterly meaningless accusations.”
„Not that meaningless, mister Ian, and … do you know why?! Because it’s damn suspicious that instead of asking us about your client’s fate, you only insulted us and accused the police of being incompetent,” Kan told him reproachfully.
„And… what should I have done? To turn him back to life?”
„No. At least show compassion, but … as I doubt that you took that case because of charity… I’ll not insist on that. Anyway, just tell us one more thing and we are out of here: prosecutor Han and detective Ian, whose pain in the ass are they? Or better to say, who asked for their death? I’m just asking: like a man of law to another man of law.”
Kan's statement enraged Hion Uk, who suddenly jumped in his legs, yelling at them: „Out of my office! Get the hell out of my office or I swear that I’ll show you what a lawyer like me can do for protecting his moral integrity!”
„Do it, if you want to know what can do a detective like me,” Kan told him, using the same tone of voice. „And if you don’t want problems with us, then answer the question, mister lawyer!”
Burning all inside, Hion Uk approached his desk, and called his secretary: „tell the bodyguards to get into my office! Faster and no questions more!” he yelled, a hint that his secretary asked for more details.
„There’s no need for violence here!” Yu said, standing up. „We are already leaving, but … keep this in your mind, lawyer Ian Hion Uk: this has been only the snap. The main plate, we’ll serve it into the interrogation room, with you sat on the culprit’s chair. Let’s go, Kan! There's no need for you to get mad with a puppy that knows nothing else than to listen to someone else’s orders.”
Saying nothing else, Kan followed Yu, who was already out of the office. But… Kan couldn't stay still: before exiting the office, he stopped next to the door and, looking at Hion Uk, he said: „mister Ian, tell Min SinJu that we never sleep and that he can come to the Prosecution to lower his flag anytime. Otherwise… we’ll bark his skin like in the story: „Little Red Riding Hood.”
Then, when Kan slammed the door behind him, he heard how Hion Uk threw the chair against the wall and everything that has been on the desk has been also thrown on the floor because Hion Uk understood that the coming of the detectives there was only the start of the war.
But even if he heard everything well, Kan didn’t stop, and nor did he turn back to see what has happened. With his hands stuck into his pockets and happily grinning, Kan murmured while the bodyguards passed by him and Yu, running, without watching them. „he’ll do us a favor and to the whole world if he kills himself. Thus, I’ll keep safe the last neurons I still have healthy.”

Focused as she prepared breakfast, SolHi didn’t see DooSan showing up in the living room. So, thinking that she was still alone, she stretched her hands up, waking her body. After that, she murmured barely heard: „so hot” and she gathered her hair in a ponytail, revealing her beautiful neck, and she wiped up, with the back of her hand, the few drops of sweat that were flowing on her neck.
Then, she turned toward the table that was behind her and she took the plate with the sausages cut for the scrambled eggs, and only then did she spot DooSan. „Are you already dressed?” but she received no answer from him.
However, SolHi hasn’t been amazed because she was used to DooSan’s freaks and he already did such things before: keeping silent when he should have answered a question. But she was still amazed when DooSan approached her and, unawares, he kissed her neck.
SolHi froze, not knowing what to do: to leave - she would have given to DooSan the opportunity to make fun of her later, accusing her of being so freaky, but … staying while everything was boiling inside her was a calvary for her and she was sure that DooSan was feeling the same as she was feeling.
And … her feeling wasn’t something random because after releasing her hair from the elastic band, DooSan slowly touched her neck and approached SolHi of him, sticking her body on his. But that movement made SolHi stare thunderstruck at the man because it was a kind of boldness, she hasn’t ever expected from DooSan and her eyes started to move in her orbits as if a mouse was running away from the cat. „Han DooSan, what are you … doing?” SolHi stammered. „Did you completely lose your mind or…,” his kiss instead, hot and prolonged on her lips, forced her to keep silent.
SolHi tried to resist that kiss, but DooSan was stronger than she was and she found it difficult to stand against him. Only when DooSan closed his eyes and was completely immersed in fantasies, charmed by the scent of those feelings born inside them, did SolHi manage to push him away from her. Then, she took her coat and left the apartment, without saying at least „goodbye.”
Slowly biting his lower lip while touching it with his finger, DooSan murmured: „you can’t escape from me, Ian SolHi! Not this time because all the roads go to you.”

8 191Anima Academy
Casimir Toomes has been pretty successful as an adventurer... until he wasn't. With his team shattered and the surviving members scattered to the four winds, he went back to his home country of Anima, and at his Master's behest, became a teacher at the Academy of High Magic. Sure, his Master keeps bugging him to take on some personal students of his own, but he's not in this teaching gig for good, it's just a temporary thing, as a favor. There's absolutely no way he'll get attached to any of the brats. Updates on Monday.
