Thus I started to grind a fun skill, not feeling to actually try, I made a light construct and fueled it at a rate equal than my mp regen. I deserved a break, in my opinion. So I sat relaxed, my free time flowing. I chose to name the four organizations, legal one like something latin, after some brainstorming the answer I came to; Make it later. The second was easy, so well known it was; The mafia. The third one, I couldn't make easily, I didn't just want to bail out and call it the 'Mage tower', but nobody could judge me for refering to it as such till a better name is found. and the fourth, something to strive for some cult; The fourth dimension. I wouldn't make a cult, yet, it could become a avenue for more power and money. I don't have a god for it though, one of my many roadblocks in my path to supremacy.
I was done with naming the organizations, so I looked at my status for a new skill to grind. I threw out all combat skills, was having my 6 hour holiday. I also ruled out all mana related one too, something else was draining it, sort of. I wasn't able to change mana output to my mana constructs previously though, I chose not to question it. And chose to give Erebus an education, any good follower should have a basic education. This only includes Erebus btw, Hemdal changed to information beholder - fantasy worlds need cool titles afterall - the moment I found out he knew the future and he was always just an above average lackey tops.
{Erebus, get the fuck over here, right now.} I said through the contract, Erebus came over quickly too. First I needed to motivate the student {Erebus, it is time for you to grow. But to grow you need something to strive for and you don't have it, but I will give you a goal to, an honorable goal.}
The drake became excited and caried it through our connection [Which is?]
I was impressed with this enthousiasm, hard to find a passionate worker back on earth {Work up hireachy.}

[Wait, what?] The drake said.
{Oh yea, you don't know the hierarchy. Basically, you're currently above everyone else that's working with us, but you could be overtaken and be ordered around by someone else, second to my authority of course.} I told the drake the hard truth.
But strangely, Erebus was not saddened that I was above him [So, I can order anyone that's working with us?]
{Yea, but you need your own way to comunicate with them, I'm not going to do it for you. But like I said, someone could overtake you.} I said gravely, trying to convey the gravity of the situation.
[So another could, take away my authourity behind yours?] The drake questioned.
{Yea, and that's bad.} I said, telling the drake a fact {And now it is time to educate you in the important subject in the world.}
[fighting?] The drake asked.
{Power growth min-maxing! Or just min-maxing.} The drake didn't really understand it, so I gave an example {Think of your time in your old dungeon, your three years of hard work to survive and grow strong, the amount of strength you gained at the end of your first 3 years of life.} Erebus imagined {If you min-maxed your time usage and skill growth you could've gotten that strong in a year or less, pretty useful I'd say.}
[Woah.] The drake was amazed at the great power min-maxing held, at this moment I had a thought. Maybe I could make a religion out of this, nah, it'd be stupid to give these savages the power of min-maxing.
{Are you ready to walk the path of a munchkin!?} I told the drake grandly.
[Yes!] Erebus said enthusiastically
I made a geniune smile {Then let's begin.}
-3 hours later-
[this is so annoying] The drake said in annoyance [Why do I even need to learn this?] the drake was having problems with big additions and subtractions.
{You must learn to predict the power growth given by your actions young padowan, which is very easy if you know how to do quick math.} I said wisely.
[Why would I need to predict the power growth given by actions?] The drake said, not knowing the true path.
{To choose the best action to take, you wouldn't want to become supbar lizard through bad decisions. Well some people do, they also keep on talking about these things called 'rights', no clue what they are.} still had to keep up the act of a noble with no connection to earth, and I also didn't want the drake to know about rights. If it ever did, it may whine about me abusing the minions.
[then let's continue, i'm no filthy lizard.] showin the pride beffiting one of my followers, it's great that I'm rubbing off on him.
{That's great, let's continue where we left of.} I noticed I got a level in drake training, cool I guess.

-1 hour later-
[Yes! Finally!] The drake had gotten down the basics, to the level of being able to do it without help but taking a long time.
I nodded softly {You're doing great, let's take a break of a few hours. I need to sleep.} I was tired, and I didn't really feel like hiding it to the drake.
[Oh, ok.] Then the drake left to do its own thing, went back to the bed, went to sleep. also did my best to set up the construct to automaticly take the mana while I slept, it kind of worked.
I woke up like every other day in the cave, no dream I remember, weird. not going to question why I don't remember dreams now, maybe they're repressed or something. Who cares? I don't, and that's all that matters.
I looked aroun thinking about what I wanted to do today, I checked in on the construct, it collapsed while I was sleeping. I had at least gotten a level out of it, but I was still upset that it didn't work. I looked up at the ceiling, wondering what I should do today. I remembered that monster, they really aren't that memorable.
I walked around, when I found out in which room it is doing its thing. Since it didn't know I was there I went behind of the wall next to the door way, then leaned over into the door way "Click, clock! The clock is tikking!" The monster was shocked, but before it could waste my time with trying to change me into a 'good' person, I ran away into a different room and hid behind the giant dark purple-ish mass inside it. after the monster gave up looking for me, I looked at the thing I hid behind, and it was Erebus as you would suspect.
He was doing his thing so I let him be, I have enough honor not to get in the way of somebody's business, if they're not getting in the way of my plans, and when I don't feel like, and when... You get the point. I ran out of the cave as silently as possible, I needed to keep that feeling in the monster.
I ran around in the cave system, humming a little a theme. I chose to get a quick experiment going, I ran through the tunnels. Using the blade in my hand to cut through the dintyles in my path, getting a quick level in arcane swordmanship. overtime the level of the dintyles became higher and higher, just how I predicted it, not that it was hard to predict though.
I didn't feel like learning about what I got from my new skill levels, had better things to do. I saw a dintyle after a turn, it also saw me. It ran towards me as did I, I put my blade before me, a bit to the side as the skill tells me to. I slowed down as I made my stance more stable, as I set my feet onto the stone. The dintyle leapt at my like all the others before it, except it jumped a bit higher and earlier than those before it. When it's claws came close enough, my body moved, my arms guided the blade to the claws. I pushed the claws down and hit the dintyle in the face with the hilt, where a pommel would be if it had one, sadly the hilt didn't have a sharp point there that could kill. while it was on the floor I made a two-handed reverse-grip, stabing it through the head.
I looked at the exp I got from that, it was a ten percent, I was happy that what I did gave me a high exp amount. And man, that hilt smash felt great too. Must be what the new level gave, but it's way to fucking dangerous, not going to do that again before the skill evolves; probably.
I quickly looked at my log, I'm currently fighting with lvl 7 and lvl 8 dintyles. just a little more to go, my power shall grow with knowledge. I don't want to make a mistake with my current greatest asset, Erebus' growth.
I killed a couple dintyles in my path, after every kill I looked at the log. After about 7 dintyles I got to the lvl 9's, when it got consistant in the levels. The hunt began, I first found a small group of dintyles without a leader, they just are just close by to eachother.
I ran over sliced some of them in half, you really don't need to know more, there weren't really any big events, exept me throwing a dintyle corpse in to another dintyle. I just kept most of them alive, gave one a chance to be my new blood beast. But it refused, so I held an execution. I picked up the arrogant dintyle by the throat, took out a throwing knife, and stabed it into the dintyle's head through the botom of the head.
I quickly cleaned the blade, then stored it again. Then I tried again with the blood I had used for the last one, this time it worked. I didn't care to communicate with a being with 1 or 2 inteligence, I looked at the other stuck dintyles. I no longer had a potential use for them except one, I told the new minion one thing {Kill them, all of them.} I pointed at the stuck dintyles. Unable to go against me, the new minion killed them all.
I quickly checked the chosen lvl 5 skill, dash, good skill I guess. I won't kill it after I'm done if it isn't a spectacular failure, maybe give it to a slave or something.

Earth's Army In Another World
As the god's battleground starts to turn into anarchy with justice and prosperity disappearing and instead being replaced by pain and suffering, the goddess of Justice and Prosperity has to do something that no other god or goddess has done. Call upon the forces of a godless planet. She wanted the strongest, and got the strongest. She got armies from three separate countries, and has forced upon them a mission of no return. Literally. Like they can't return to earth unless they complete it. Without any governments, the armies are left to fend for themselves with a large amount of bullets, tanks, planes, and ships. This story will have a large amount of characterization and slice of life moments. I did an insane amount of research for this and poured so much time in, not just militarily, but other basic necessity things as well. Fights will be bloody, magic will be rampant, and the slice of life moments will just warm you to the core. (actual kingdom building)

A Primeval Future
Follow the story of a modern caveman as he learns to survive, thrive, and shape his nascent civilization in a world yet untouched by man. Expect a focus on the nitty-gritty of primitive living, especially early on. I plan for this to eventually progressing to the settlement management and politics stage as people gravitate towards the one guy who looks like he knows what he's doing, but this will likely take some time. Despite the occasional system elements, skilling and levels will not be a part of this story. No shortcuts. There will be violence and there will be sexuality but there will be no sexual violence. I hate reading that crap and I hate writing it even more. This is my first serious foray into writing. I plan to put out at least 1 chapter a week, more when I can. Constructive criticism is very much welcomed as are ideas and suggestions! Cover image credit: "Mesolithic camp site" by Wessex Archaeology is licensed with CC BY-NC 2.0.
