I wanted to get a lab coat for my demolition experimentation, but lab coats didn't exist. I didn't even know why I even remembered how to make guns or how explosions work, I guess intresting things are far more memorable. While I was getting into the scientific mindset, I started to question things that I just accepted due to being fantasy like: What is mana? How the hell are beasts able to break the laws of physics? more specifically the square cube law, but also the other laws like the e=mc2 equation, reletivity, or the laws of gravity and aerodynamics. And how the fuck does the framework or skills work!?
But I had a purpose, before I went on a tangent, I had to make explosives. And I knew what to do, I sawed at some of the planks and made 2 planks with 20 cm in length 12 cm in width and 3 cm thick. another 2 planks with 20 cm in length 3 cm in width and is 3 cm thick. Then another 2 planks had 9 cm in length 3 cm in width and 3 cm thick again. I put the first pair on top of eachother, then I put the second pair between the first pair, with the longest two sides touching the first pair, then the third pair of planks was used to close up the two openings on the side.
Then I hammered the cut nails to connect the wood planks, after that I drilled a hole in it, with the size of the rope I have. Before I filled it with gunpowder I chose to just take a bit of gunpowder outside and set it on fire with an ember I got from a servant.
When lit on fire, it burned very quickly; it was the same as when I did this in the united kingdom on earth. Showing that it was the gunpowder I know and love. After this great experiment I was no longer scared of it not working, I filled the box with 3/4 gunpowder. Then through the hole I did the rope it went inside of the box, to a length that made sure that the gunpowder was lit.
Then I tested it outside, again I lit the fuse. The box broke and burned, it also got propeled because of the gas. at the end there were some fragments of wood and some ash around. It wasn't even close to what I wanted, at least I got some carpentry exp for sawing the planks and hammering in the nails, not much but exp is exp. I had nothing to do but sleep or make some more stuff, I was wary of sleep right now.

I don't want to meet that girl again, I don't know what will happen if she realizes that I lied to her. All I know is that it will be annoying or dangerous, and that she's far stronger then I am. I wondered how I was even able to meet her, was it some kind of divine being, she did look like an angel. But what did I learn from the fantasy books? Don't trust angels or gods without a way to make them keep their word, but why did I even read them though? Oh yea I had a lot of free time.
But I was getting of track, I had a big decision to make. To sleep or not to sleep, that is the question. And I chose to burn the midnight oil, with gears. I made a gear, made a hole in the middle. Made a cylindrical beam, it was the size of the hole in the gear. I needed to use a hammer to force it in the hole, again somemore exp. Then I replicated what I made but with a smaller gear with the same size of teeth and hole, and also a stand for both of them. The hole the cylindrical beams went in had a bit of space so that it could rotate, I then set the two gears next to each other. I rotated the big gear, and the small gear rotated with it and it was spining faster.
I looked at the bed, I yawned. I've been working for the last couple hours, I do deserve some sleep don't I? I shook my head, do I really need sleep that much? But then I remembered how old I am, I am not able to burn the midnight oil, that's a biological fact. At least not while staying in good health, sleep is a necessary process after all. But then I snaped out of it, being tired really distorts your thought process. I wouldn't have this problem if I had caffeine, or any stimulant for that matter. Like how did these filthy primitives not have any kind of stimulants, I have gotten a new goal, bring these filthy primitives the wonders of chemistry, and drugs, lots of drugs.
I chose to sleep, hoping not to get a nightmare or meet that girl again. And snap, next time I opened my eyes the sun was up. No dreams I remembered, no angry angel girl. peace and quiet, and new plans to smuggle drugs which weren't legal. I should try make some stuff, real stuff. Later I'll make electricity, I don't know much about the old ways of making stuff, just memories of old world videos somewhere hidden in my mind. And like some articicles from the internet, cause I didn't want to waste my cash on books. I should quickly get the basic electric battery's and glass, but for that I need way more money then what I get from my allowance. Being truthfull, my daily allowance is like at least 10x a peasant's yearly salary.
So I need cash, so I'll make stuff to sell on the black market. Which I have chosen to be alchohol and opium, maybe some cocaine too. I was going to abuse that the creators of this continent made earths plants; Including the opium poppy, grapes and wheat exists on icarus. Also yeast exists, for some weird reason.

Alcohol was banned in the empire for making the drinker make stupid desicions, and it once made a noble insult the emperor. It was seen as an heretical drink, but it was frequantly drunk in the underworld. I once got to see some of the stuff after it was confiscated, it's quality was trash. It was literaly some fermented yeast and wheat, no way to make it taste better, nothing. I am super confident that I can at least make it safer to drink, and with less methonol at least.
But I'm getting ahead of myself, only 8 year olds and older are allowed to leave the mansion with a supervisior. less then 3 years to go, and to make my power grow. Let it grow, more and more.
I think I'm a little to sleep deprived, lets just calm down and wait for Osgar to pick me up. It took a good amount of time, and I needed to waste that time. My plan was to see if I could pour more mana into 'Inspect', the way I got this ingenius idea was that I could force more mana into my constructs. Maybe It could even show me their personality's or stats, my power it grows muahahahaha. But I couldn't find where the mana was going after activating the skill, which was a problem because no path = no way to give/force more mana into it.
Then Osgar came in, he looked sleep deprived. I didn't really care though, I said to him "Let us go to the dungeon."
He sighed muttering "I'm to tired for this." He opened his eyes wide and said "Yes, yes. Let's please do this quickly, I need some sleep."
"If you want that let me call over my horde first." I called over Bob and Erebus with {Come over here you lazy shits, oh and Erebus you come to.} saying that the dintyles where lazy shits, but they were to stupid to really care "Now lets go!" And I went the way of the gate.
When I came to the gate I saw Duke and Hemdal, Duke was looking at Hemdal and Hemdal was trying to ignore him. Duke said "Son, can you tell me why you chose to go into the dungeon with this child?"
I smiled at him "I'll tell you in more 'private' place, okay." Then I looked somewhere else, I had better things to think about how Duke is a duke.
But apperantly Duke was not satisfied with my reasonable answer, and said "Tell me right now."
I again looked at him this time with a less patient smile "If you're worried that he will betray me, you don't have to." I looked at Hemdal with a cold expression "Right?" I hoped that he would pick up on what I was putting down.
And it looked like he did, he was acting like he was shaking in his boots. Wait why does his crotch look a little moist? My god he peed his pants, at least it isn't that easy to notice.
And it seems Duke understood that I had something to blackmail him with and told Osgar to release it if he killed me or something similar. Which calmed him down, Duke said "When I get time I am going to make you tell me about the dirt, got that."
"Yes definently" I said, then I sneered in my mind 'I will not fucking pushover.'
Duke seemed happy and content then walked away like the pushover that he is, that was very annoying. But I won't need to act much anymore after entering the dungeon, it is highly difficult to listen in on someone else in a dungeon. It's really weird, when you sneak up on someone else and don't do shit for sometime. The beasts are attracted towards you, like the dungeon is telling you to kill the one you're being followed by.
all this culminates a culture on looking down on people that listen in on someone else's conversations in a dungeon, making me not that scared about telling something confidential. It was nice, lets not think about the chance that dungeons are inteligent okay. Ignorance is bliss afterall, but forcing yourself into it is annoying so I'll leave the ignorance zone one day, in like a couple years.
I went towards the light element dungeon last time, it took like half-an-hour to get there. I entered with my best boi Erebus, and an army of expendable labrats that I'm going abuse for my evil plans; if I make them one day, maybe some unethical experiments too. Hemdal entered too.
After we entered I made some small talk "How does it feel to pee yourself infront of the patriarch?"
Hemdal stopped for a bit then started walking again like nothing happened "What do you mean? I never peed myself infront of the patriarch."
I smiled and looked away "Keep telling yourself that."
He coughed to change the topic "When are we going to do it?" He said, refering to teaching him mana stuff.
I said relaxed "On the second floor."
Hemdal said to that "Oh okay, but I need to ask. Why do you look so tired now that you've entered the dungeon?"
I raised my right eyebrow "I look tired?"
"Yes, yes you do." He said, he then stopped talking, then "Hey! don't change the topic! why do you look tired?!"
I said to that "Oh that's probably from me only having 5 hours of sleep."
He made a shocked expression "What? only 5 hours, don't you need like 10 hours of sleep?"
I raised my eyebrow at what he said "Who told you that, all the books say that that 5 year olds needs like 7 hours."
Hemdal said "U-um it is a tale in my family line."
I squinted my eyes "Oh really?"
He put his hands infront of him open, he said "Y-yes."
"Hmmmmm" Is the sound I made, while Hemdal was sweating bullets "That makes perfects sense." I said in an upbeat tone.
"Y-yea" he said. Then I continued
