RB Chapter 25 A Spark Leads To A Fire!
"Who were you just talking to?" A woman asked a bald headed man.
They were inside of what looked to be a study. The bald headed man...judging his seating position, behind the desk, seemed to be the owner of the study.
"Kizike!" That was all the man said.
"That guy who is using us for his petty revenge? I even wonder why you accepted him?" The woman was playing with her nails.
The bald headed man had brown skin lighter in tone. His body was built like that of a body builder and you could see that even the suit he was currently clad in, was threatening to bust at the seams.
"It seems like some one lent us a hand!" The man ignored the woman's questions.
"Yes...but that woman is going to be fuming! I never really liked her anyway!" The woman commented.
"Which squad do I send! We need to at least put on an act of capturing her! We must also make sure that these fires continue burning!" The man said as he crossed his fingers on the table.
"Do you want me to lend you my army?" She asked.
"Nononono...don't even think about it! I know you are itching to test their might, but let me Remind you, Miss Kiwuka! That army is our trump card! It should never be exposed before the final confrontation!" The man even banged his hand on the table to try and get his point across.
"Ya! ya! ya! I know! I know!" The woman seemed disappointed as she sulked.
"Why couldn't it have been any other person who had done that!? This is giving me a headache! Am pretty sure that Kizike guy is going to try and capture her, but we can't afford to fall out with our ally!" He rubbed his forehead in frustration.
"Choose between the two! Send out either the faster gazelles, or the strong bulls!" The woman suggested.
"The bulls! He wouldn't dare to injure them as they are related to me!" His eyes brightened.
"Get me the captain of the bulls online!" He ordered through the direct line to his secretary.
"So! What truly brought you here?" He asked Kiwuka.
"First take care of the current thing." She refused to say.
"Hello, sir!" After a ring, the bald headed man had picked up a call.
"Chase down...that Mpologoma girl! Make sure that she either falls into your hands or the Mpologoma clan's! Do you understand?"

"Yes, sir!"
"And make haste!...also make sure to give a warning to Godfrey if you see him. Tell him not to get involved!" The bald headed man added.
"Godfrey! Godfrey! He is still as revenge driven as ever! I wonder what road he will choose after getting his revenge!" The man tapped his desk as he entered deep thought.
"He's just a rabid hunting dog. The moment his usefulness is exhausted, we will simply dispose of him. Its not like all the Kizike clan are entirely on board with his current antics! They simply follow him because he is the strongest!" The woman had disdain dripping from her words.
"So...what truly brings you here? Due to this incident, I must hurry up and give the citizens an explanation." The bald headed man said as he stood up.
"I have managed to produce a second." Kiwuka answered nonchalantly while still playing with her nails.
"WHAAAT! Is this true? This is good...no, great news!!! Our plan will be more secure with that!" He sat down before once again standing up abruptly. Shock was visible on his face.
"Why are you jumpy? You startled me!" She shouted at his antics.
"What I just told you didn't warrant such a reaction. With the resources you have been providing, that was the natural outcome." She was unfazed. This was Kiwuka. The woman with the title of 'Ant Queen'. She was the most feared woman by all the clan leaders! One on one, they could win! But! In a war, impossible!
But, what surprised all, was that she had never started a clan!
"You are right, it should be normal considering all those resources." The bald man calmed down.
"Well...its time to go and try to pacify the public!" He adjusted his suit and tie.
It was currently 2:28pm, just three minutes, after Elena's slaughter,
"I suppose so, I pity you! Having to communicate with the public...plus! Your high position. How I love being unfettered!" Kiwuka said as she stood up. She was casually donning a tracksuit.
The bald headed man frowned when she stood up, but ultimately didn't comment.
"With great power comes great responsibility. Even you, who loves being unfettered is producing an army...I suppose that's how the world works." The man said as he took long strides out of the office.
Kiwuka glimpsed multiple people in uniform outside the door. They must have been patiently waiting for the two's conversation to end.

-------
Its currently 2:34pm, 9 minutes after the slaughter.
Elec and Eric, like the rest of the students, bystanders and reporters, are standing outside of the police tape.
Around two minutes ago, the police had managed to arrive...yes Kampala city had a police department. It was outside the meddling of the ten clans and was meant to serve the normal civilians...that's how it was supposed to be.
"Let's go home! My stomach is now empty after that..." He couldn't even look at the bloodstains on the pavement.
The two boys pushed their way through the crowd and entered the school gate. They had been silenced by the carnage that they had seen so, no form of any conversation had been carried out while they headed towards the parking lot... Not that they would have had anything of particular interest to chat about even if the incident hadn't happened.
"The KCPD is going to do everything in our power to bring the culprit to justice, be they teenager or not!" A bald headed man had appeared on the screen on the back seat of the front seats as the car drove home.
He was the chief of police! His body so muscular that the suit was threatening to bust.
"As we are all aware, the perpetrator is related to the ten clans, are you going to allow them to interfere, if they insist on meddling?" A certain reporter asked.
"No!!! We won't stand for it! Our police department will stand by the public! This girl will be caught and arrested! If anyone...and I mean, anyone! Tries to interfere, they will be killed on site!" He answered. His voice had gotten so low that Elec even felt the chills.
"This man can't possibly mean what he said, right!? We are the ten clans! How can they have power in par with us! Am pretty sure the Mpologoma clan will save her." Elec dismissed the man's claims.
"But this incident isn't that easily swept under the rug! It has started a fire in the public's hearts!" Eric exclaimed while gesturing towards Elec to look out the window.
Many people had taken to the streets.
[We, the citizens, will help the police to track her!] One person was waving about such a placard.
"We will appreciate any citizen's aid in catching the perpetrator! She must be heading towards west. All citizens in that area with no combat genes, should be on alert! The subject is dangerous!" The bald man warned.
"In other news, the buying of ATP(Adenosine Tri-phosphate) has skyrocketed as numerous citizens take to the roads in search of..."
Elec turned off the connection.
"Right now, I need peace! After seeing that gruesome..." He didn't finish, but Eric knew what he was talking about.
---------
Its 2:38pm.
In a building, with a lion head emblazoned on it, at the highest floor, there is an office...
It's interior is themed with brown...the brown sofas, desk, bookshelves, the carpet and many more.
A woman with brown hair, brown eyes and a calm look is seated behind a desk as a hologram is showing the latest news.
Her finger is constantly tapping the desk while leaning back in her chair, deep in thought. She is clad in office attire, complete with a pencil skirt and she is crossing her legs.
"Send in the captain of the cheetah squad!" She said through the intercomm. She once again resumed tapping her finger.
The entire office was quiet, except for her tapping. She had even muted the hologram.
After a few minutes, a knock sounded, before an elegant woman clad in black office attire like the one behind the desk entered.
The woman behind the desk was Lena, the current martriach of the Mpologoma clan. She was revered and also feared.
That could be seen in the way that the woman who had arrived did not dare to raise her head.
"Cheetah One, reporting my queen!" She bowed down.
"I want you to escort my daughter back here safely! She must never be taken away by anyone! Ally or otherwise!" Lena cut to the chase. She was a woman who hated wasting time in meaningless conversation.
Even though her daughter was in danger and wanted, she didn't even lose her cool.
"Take as much manpower as needed...oh! And try not to kill the civilians! Incapacitate them, but don't kill!" She added.
"Yes! My queen!" Cheetah One turned on her heels and went out the office. You could even say she was fleeing.
'The calmness of that woman terrifies me!' She thought.
The Mpologoma clan was different from the other clans. Except the family of Leo, no other clan members had the lion bloodline, they just had bloodlines of the other cats!
