RB Chapter 23 Debate!
"Tsk! tsk! tsk! My daughter truly did inherit my genes...even the bad ones." Ivy was saying that calmly but the two boys could sense that intense emotions were behind it.
"Elec. You see, my daughter is the most precious thing to me. You trying to sully her is..." Ivy didn't finish but, the temperature in the room dropped.
Her rage was a quiet one.
"I have an impulse to just kill you here. What do you think I should do?" All her attention was still focussed on her daughter.
Leah had fallen asleep. It must have been done by Ivy! That thought had passed through Eric's mind.
Right now, even though he was paralysed, the cells of his entire body were struggling to break the paralysis. It was the ingrained instinct to protect Elec which was causing it.
But Eric had still breathed in a sigh of relief when that woman put a stop to whatever was going to happen next.
"You see, am currently facing a dilemma...do I make the Masanyalaze clan my enemy by killing you?...I doubt it will happen though, since Baguma wouldn't dare to slight me. Or do I simply break a few of your bones?" She asked.
She slowly turned around and looked straight at Elec.
"I won't do anything. Instead I have someone who needs to learn to respect the adults. She needs to be taught a lesson. You should be happy! You will get off scot free, but in exchange, I hope you never try to meet my daughter ever again!" She said before once again turning around and lifting up Leah in a princess carry together with the sheet.
Her gaze when looking at her was filled with warmth.
She sauntered out of the room while carrying Leah.
Elec was tremblingly standing there, a wet patch had even formed on his crotch.
Eric's paralyzing poison hadn't yet worn off, so all he could do was sit there and wait.
'That woman is strong! Even if she hadn't paralysed me, I have a feeling she could have killed me as easily as breaking a chicken's neck!' Eric admired her strength.
He saw that he was still far away from matching the clan leaders.
They were probably in a class of their own!
---------
Ivy exited the gates and saw the protesters standing by the side of the road. Seeing her carrying her daughter, they didn't try to antagonise her. Her car had purposefully been left outside the gates.

'It seems they still have some fear of us clan leaders.' She looked down on them in her mind. But she still didn't antagonise them but simply entered the car.
"Nakato, find some reliable fellow and teach that little girl Elena about how the world works!" She ordered upon taking her seat in the limousine with Leah's head resting on her lap.
"Yes! Madam!" The chauffeur answered. It was a woman.
Ivy stroked her daughter's hair while working out the plan in her head.
She had planted a listening chip in her daughter's uniform. Leah had a tendency to expose clan secrets, so she wanted to find a way to work around the exposure...and that was to know what was exposed so that countermeasures could be taken.
'That bitch actually told everything to her daughter?' She was surprised that Elena knew that secret.
'You will get what's coming to you!' Her mouth spread into a curve upon imagining about what was to come.
--------
It is now 2:00pm! The time that most of the students are waiting for as they pass through the school day. A time they get to leave behind boring school and head to unboring home!
Elec and Eric were currently exiting the school building and heading towards the parking lot.
Elec was breathing in a sigh of relief.
'Thankfully no protesters made it to the school grounds!'
Right now all the students who used to be picked or dropped off at the gate in the mornings and evenings, were making their way to the parking lot. To prevent the students from being assaulted by the protesters, the chauffeurs had to drive into the school.
"Hmmm!" Surprise leaked out of Eric, who had been focussing towards the gate.
A lone female student, with long legs was making her way towards the gate.
That student was Elena.
'What is she up to?' He wondered.
"Master! Look!" His curiosity had gotten the better of him so he called out to his master.
Elec looked in the direction Elec was pointing and also caught sight of that familiar figure.
"Let's go take a look!" Elec said as he sprinted towards the gate.
'That woman is probably going to cause trouble! I wanna watch!' That thought alone was enough to get Elec moving.
Eric raced after him!
They weren't the only ones! All the students who noticed, spread the news and a crowd raced towards the gate.

'Yes! Come and watch! I am going to show you all that these weaklings are nothing to fear!'
She was in a good mood! She had managed to take care of a potential rival earlier in the day! And now! Her time to rise had come!
She felt like laughing out loud! Her road to the top was already set! The moment she graduated, she would chase after greater power!
She was sure that her mother would lay the path for her, after all, she was probably going to be her successor! Her brothers were still too young and she didn't see any way they could top her when they grew up!
'But, you never know! All male lions like to be kings. I need to find a way to make sure it never comes to pass that they try to challenge my authority. I must become the queen and rise further to become the one ruling this entire city!'
She was seeing a clear path ahead! No more stumbling blocks could get in her way!
'Now! These weaklings. What do they plan to gain by protesting! Hmmm? We have been ruling them for a long time! They should just be content with their stations! Why do they have to cause trouble?' She wondered.
She didn't understand why weaklings tried to struggle when clearly, the strong were more suited to rule them!
No one among the gatekeepers tried to stop her. They feared the consequences that might come with it. In this school, students held more power than the teachers themselves! If you got on the wrong side of a student you might get fired and in the worst case scenario, die!
Of course there were exceptions to that.
Elena opened the gate and went outside. The quiet crowd all turned towards her.
Her lips curved into a smirk as she looked at the crowd.
Old and young, male and female were mixed as they looked at her.
Most had looks of dissatisfaction.
'Oh! They must have recognised me!' She thought.
"Hey there! People! Or should I say, weaklings! Why are you protesting? I don't understand you at all! Enlighten me!" She spread her hands as she asked.
'Now she did it!' That thought passed through all the students who were crowding at the gate.
"Little little girl! Your ego has inflated just because you are at the top in this school! You truly haven't understood society!" Godfrey, who was atop the school building said to himself.
If you looked closely, you could see that his eyes were eagle like! He had far vision, so he could clearly see everything taking place at the gates, though he couldn't hear anything.
His hands were tucked into the pockets of his lab coat.
'Now, its time to wait for the spark, whether from the crowd, or the girl herself! Once it starts, I must find a way to grow it into a fire!' He thought as he closely observed the confrontation.
"Little girl! You don't understand the affairs of adults, and we only have grudges with them." An old man cautioned.
"Explain to me so that I can understand oldman! Hmmm? We are literally protecting you from the outside beasts! If you weaklings are the ones who rise to power, the beasts won't let that go! They have gotten intelligent...according to what I've heard!" She shouted at the Goldman who went speechless.
"There! You see! You have only HEARD! You haven't been there yourself! How can that be believable! You only want to keep us under your thumbs with such excuses!" A hot blooded youth shouted in the crowd. It looked like she wasn't intimidated by her beauty.
"Yeah! You are still just a KID! How can you interfere in the affairs of adults?" An older woman berated.
The smile which she had come with was now gone.
"Kid! kid! kid! Don't compare me with those milk sucking brats! Am about to graduate! Let's not divert the topic! What can you truly do for this city? You are just a waste of resources!" Her ear piercing voice was heard over the crowd's. It seemed she had activated her powerful vocal cords.
"KID! Let me explain it so that you understand! We want equal rights! For example! We pay taxes, and they fund the school you are currently studying at! But why are our children, as taxpayers, not allowed to attend this institution that WE fund?" A middle aged man in a suit asked!
That question alone made Elena speechless. She couldn't come up with any retort!
