RB Chapter 21 Kiss

Monday, 14th June, 2199.

A smile was plastered on Elec's face as he opened the door to enter the car.

It was currently 30 minutes to 8:00am.

Elec was waving goodbye to Lisa. Judging by the way his hand was energetically waving, he had practically forgiven her.

Eric had already boarded.

Lisa had a big smile while waving to her son.

This moment made her heart swell with happiness! It was one of the things she had wanted to do for a long time! Even a few tear drops were threatening to roll down her cheeks.

'Why don't they end this faster? It has almost been 30 seconds!' Eric grumbled in his mind.

He was dissatisfied! The attention which had just been given to him by Lisa...even though it was little...had been magnified and all of it given to Elec.

But he wouldn't talk about it. He could only sulk secretly.

'That woman is fickle! Or she just tried to place her affection on me, but now, because she has made up with her son, she pretends I don't exist!'

Such thoughts were eating away at him.

Elec finally entered the car and it drove towards the school.

"Eric, why is a gloomy atmosphere surrounding you?"

"How can it be! Its all in your imagination." Eric answered in a deadpan voice.

Elec let it go and leaned against the car window with a smile plastered on his face.

He was still remembering the fun Sunday he had had with his mom...now he could say that word.

They had gone shopping...and many other things. The entire day had been about the two of them...scratch that, Eric had been tagging along, but it still became a fun day for him.

He saw the cheerful side of Lisa...and it was truly great! She was a very attractive woman, pity that his dad wasn't that interested in her.

She had fussed over every little thing they had tried out...from food to clothes. She tried to get involved in everything! Giving him ideas and even pouting cutely if he tried to insist on something she didn't like.

"Hahaha..." A chuckle involuntarily leaked out of his mouth in the midst of his reminiscence.

Eric who had turned to look at him, found that somehow, Elec seemed to be brighter.

"Remember Leah?" He impulsively said to try and rain on his parade. That handsome smile made him very angry!

Elec snapped out of it and a frown slowly begun to form on his face. He was running ideas through his head on how he should apologise.

"By the way, Eric, you are always quiet. Why are you suddenly so talkative? Hmm? You should remember this! Even though we are to act as brothers, that doesn't mean that we truly are. You should understand your station! You are my SERVANT! I am the MASTER!"

Elec emphasized while poking Eric's shoulder with his finger.

"Do you understand?"

"Yes."

"A word is missing! Do you understand?" He asked again. His gaze looked particularly intense.

"Yes, master!" Eric had no choice but say it. He was once again reminded of how cruel his situation was. He had temporarily forgotten it.

After that, the car continued on in silence, neither talked again.

"Oy! Leah! How are you?" Elec greeted happily the moment he reached class.

Leah was already in her chair stufying some text books.

The enthusiastic Elec saw no response and he quickly became embarrassed.

The others who had already arrived were wondering what had happened between them.

The stares alone caused Elec immense dissatisfaction.

'This bitch thinks she is special because she is my only friend!'

"I am truly sorry about what happened this weekend." Elec apologised as sincerely as he could.

"Elec. I already know your true colors. No need for such an insincere apology. We are already strangers...parallel to each other. We will never cross again. So go away, you are spreading your rottenness to my desk!" Leah chased him away calmly. She didn't even look up from her desk.

'Good riddance!' Eric felt refreshed. A part of his gloom...a very little piece...was removed by her purifying words.

He had bypassed Elec and sat on his desk.

Elec clenched his hands and grinded his teeth! He was enraged.

"Leah! We only have each other! Both of us aren't exactly the many friends type. Why don't we try to go back to the way we were! I have already applogised!"

Elec had lowered his head and whispered into her ears. He didn't want the others to catch what he was saying.

"Elec."

Leah turned her neck, and her eyes looked into his. He felt a chill!

He almost backed away but, she had snuck her arm behind and held his head in place!

"If you don't leave me alone, there will be consequences!"

Leah's menacing gaze was locked with his.

He couldn't shift his eyes away! They were locked with hers.

"If that's how you wanna play it..." Elec decided to do something bold.

All the others in the classroom could sense the tense atmosphere between the two. The classroom had devolved into silence as they waited for how it was going to turn out.

Even Eric was looking at them.

Elec's gaze turned scorching. He brought his head close to hers so fast that she don't have time to react!

Leah's heart jumped when she felt something soft and moist touching her lips! She had closed her eyes instinctively thinking that Elec was going to attack.

But something pried her lips open and snuck inside, it searched for her tongue and entwined with it. In her dazed state, she unconsciously went along with it, and a dance of tongues ensued.

The entire classroom had gotten even quieter by this point! Everyone was surprised by what they were seeing.

'What....?!' Eric almost jumped out of his chair! A little pain was felt in his heart!

He had come to have some vague feelings of Leah when he had seen her vulnerable state in the virtual world. He didn't know that he had them!

The dull pain he was experiencing...he didn't know what it meant!

The kiss lasted about ten seconds before Elec backed his hard away with a trail of saliva still connecting them.

Leah's hand had been removed from the back of his head the moment he brought their lips together.

A smug look was contained in Elec's eyes as he broke the kiss. He looked around at his classmates as if taunting them.

Leak woke up from her daze and her eyes narrowed!

'Shit! Am toast! Eric! Get over here!' He signaled with his eyes towards his servant.

Eric hurriedly appeared infront of him.

'Damn it! My body moves even though what I heard was just a thought?!'

A look of frustration appeared on his face as he stood in front of his master facing Leah.

"Wha-wha-wha-what!?" Her eyes widened and what had just happened sank in.

But all the students' expectations were subverted when Leah, whom they had expected to pummel Eric, reacted strangely.

She stood up abruptly, looked towards Elec who was poking his head over Eric's and any words she tried to form failed her.

Instead, she looked downwards shyly while holding the sides of her red skirt tightly.

"Hmmm!? What's with that reaction?!" Elec's thoughts escaped from his mouth. The rest of the students went along and nodded their heads as if echoing him.

"You...why did you ki-k-kkiss me? We....?"

When was panicking judging by her words and the powerful spirit seemed to have vanished somewhere!

"Hey! What happened to you?!" Elec pushed Eric to the side to appear in front of Leah.

"Nothing." She answered softly while trying to avoid his gaze.

'It was just a kiss! Why does she act as if she has fallen in love with him?!' Wondered Eric.

He was looking at the current Leah and comparing her with all her other forms he had met...it was incomprehensible! She was like a newly wed wife!

"Are you sick?" Elec asked as he tried to bring his hand closer to her forehead.

"Go away!" She uttered in a soft voice after collapsing into her seat while backing away from his hand.

"O-o-okay!" Elec answered and went away. He thought she was angry with what he had just done and didn't want to talk to him so he just went to his seat behind her.

'I claimed her!' He fist pumped in his mind.

'What's happening to me!? Why did my body almost soften because of the kiss? Right now...I even want to be near him! What's happening?! All my hostility has vanished!?' A myraid thoughts were running through her mind.

She was confused, her body temperature was shooting up and she felt as if she couldn't breathe.

Her vision turned blurry while she was lost in her thoughts before darkness overtook her.

"Leah!" She heard a vague voice sounding like it was far away before slipping into unconsciousness.
