《World Of Swords》Meeting

"Go away," said Xu Yue to the artifact spirit.
The artifact spirit looked towards Xu Yue inquiringly. It didn't know why Xu Yue was asking this.
"I need to put on the robe," said Xu Yue with a straight face.
The artifact spirit had never seen someone so young and so shameless in its entire long life.
Xu Hui was standing outside of the padoga when Xu Yue suddenly appeared. A frown appeared on her face a few moments later.
"Yue'er, how many floors have you passed," asked Xu Hui, a little bit worried because of the frown on Xu Yue's face.
"All four floors," said Xu Yue, still angry at being thrown out by the artifact spirit.
When he heard this, Xu Hui was not shocked. With her talent, passing the padoga is not considered something major. He was just a little bit surprised at how short of a time she needed to pass it.
Xu Hui then took her hand, and a moment later, they both disappeared.
Looking at the ever-so-familiar peak that she considers her home, Xu Yue finally felt at peace at long last.
"I need to do something," said Xu Yue as she went towards her residence, which was on the left side of the mountain.
It took 30 minutes for Xu Yue to come out of her home. By the time she was exiting, Xu Chao, Wu Jing, and Xu Hui were all outside of her residence.
Looking at Xu Yue, who was exiting her house in a light blue dress, the three of them were quite surprised as they investigated the robe.
"A peak heaven-rank defensive artifact in the form of a robe," said Wu Jing.
Defensive artifacts were usually in the form of armor, which could not be worn all the time. Thus, these types of defensive artifacts were quite a bit more valuable than normal ones.

A moment later, the three of them were spotted by Xu Yue, who was exiting her house. She immediately ran towards her mother before hugging her.
Even though she had hidden it, she had missed her parents a lot, as these fifteen days were the longest she had ever spent apart from them.
As she hugged her mother, and then her father, two little tears almost burst out of her eyes.
Wu Jing looked at the eight-year-old little girl, and felt a burst of pain in her heart for sending her away.
As soon as she recounted the pain she had felt in the first trial, all three people couldn't help but feel their hearts ache.
As she continued recounting, she soon reached the part where she had felt the cold emanate from her body. As soon as she said that, three wills scoured her body to find any abnormalities.
A few moments later, Xu Hui disappeared.
"Grandpa Hui..." mumbled Xu Yue under her breath. Even though he was the one who took her there, she still missed him a lot.
"Father needs to go do something..." said Xu Chao.
"You shut up," said Wu Jing, remembering all the beating he had been through for contradicting his wife, he immediately shut up. There was only one period in which his cultivation surpassed his wife's, and that was long ago.
A dangerous glint passed through Wu Jing's eyes when Xu Yue talked about the ice.
When talking about the third floor, Xu Yue did not talk much about her opponents, only the fight itself.
Attaining sword will is extremely difficult, especially for those as young as Xu Yue. Neither the cultivators were surprised, as they knew their daughter's talent.
Xu Yue soon began to talk about the rewards she had gotten from the padoga.

"From the first floor, I obtained a heaven-ranked painting brush," said Xu Yue.
As soon as she said this, she then took out the brush from her spatial bag.
Looking at the brush, Xu Chao couldn't see any difference from a normal heaven-ranked painting brush. But as Wu Jing looked at it, she felt a certain being's dao emanating from it.
"This was one of teacher's brushes." This thought scared Wu Jing as she remembered her teacher's cultivation base.
As Xu Yue talked about the second reward she had gotten, Wu Jing couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, that her second reward was at least normal.
Looking at the sheath Xu Yue was talking about Xu Chao couldn't help but be shocked.
"This must be at least a Saint-ranked treasure," thought Xu Chao as he remembered the strength of the sword contained in it, and how many beings it had killed before its owner ascended.
"This is a good treasure," said Xu Chao, deciding to hide the extent of its power from Xu Yue for now.
Xu Yue then tried to explain what reward she got from the fourth trial.
"Cahf ah nafl mglw'nafh hh' ahor syha'h ah'legeth, ng llll or'azath syha'hnahh n'ghftephai n'gha ahornah ah'mglw'nafh," as he heard Xu Yue's speech become unrecognizable he thought of the items that would cause such a reaction when being spoken about without preparation
"You don't need to talk about this anymore," said Wu Jing, not worrying as the items obtained from the trial would absolutely not harm the user.
"You will need to choose one of the elders as your teacher," said Wu Jing.
"Wouldn't you or grandfather be a better teacher?" said Xu Yue, having noticed her father's cultivation base was the lowest of the three.
"Don't worry, we will continue to teach you," said Xu Chao.
As soon as he said this. All the elders were displayed before Xu Yue. She saw how they looked, their focus, their relative strength, and a small description appeared in front of her.
A mischievous smile appeared on her face as soon as she saw one particular elder, a mischievous smile appeared on her face.
At the same time.
Xu Hui stood before the incarnations of nine cultivators.
"Since she has both the 9 Yin Physique and the profound Ice Soul, I propose granting her a Saint Rank Yang Treasure," said one of the figures.
The other eight figures quickly agreed.
One figure waved its hand and an orb appeared. The orb flew towards Xu Hui.
"Give it to her quickly, little Hui," said the figure in a female voice.

-July 10, 2022- Stocked Chapters: 8 I'm out of hiatus, but honestly, I can't trust myself to post consistently anymore... A new arc is about to begin, and I'll start posting again once the entirety is done. It might take a year, but honestly, this story is going to go on for the foreseen future anyway... so I suppose that's just a blip in the grand scheme of things? I'll leave updates here every once in a while, if for some reason you're still actively checking on this incredibly slow story T-T The path of cultivation is often portrayed as one stained by bloodshed. But is that truly necessary? Heaven is merciful, after all. On a rather ordinary day, a peasant girl was whisked away by a strange old man. In a hall of great white jade, she was offered the chance to cultivate. ...too bad she's as lazy as a sloth. Slice of life Xianxia with fairly little action in early chapters, more focused on comedy.
