《What would you do if you suddenly fell in love?》Past

After they left the mansion, Ophilia said, "I'm sorry for disturbing your conversation with the mayor."
"Don't worry about it, even though it took me by surprise, it wasn’t a big deal." Sian said carefreely.
"Hearing that you would pay 36 gold coins caught me off guard, that's an amount I've never seen in my life, the most I'd ever seen was 3 gold coins when I was sold together with the other slaves." Ophilia said.
"Where did you live before you became a slave?" Sian asked.
"I lived in Tarova, that's where I was born and raised, it was a city near the border, like Solaris, but in Edrorian. Then in the war of 15 years ago, Poutis invaded Edrorian and the battle came to us.
Many people tried to escape, but it was late, most were caught by the soldiers, luckily I managed to escape and run along with my family.
But our happiness was short-lived, although we managed to escape the soldiers, we were chased by the slave hunters. As my mother was pregnant and weak at the time, I decided to stay behind to try to distract them and so I was captured, but at least my family managed to escape." Ophilia said while looking nostalgic and sad at the same time.
"Looks like you had a rough time..." Sian said.
"Yes... I don't even know where my family is, if my mother managed to give birth to my little brother or sister , or if at least they are alive... But it doesn't matter anymore, I think for them, I'm probably already dead...” She said.
'Is that what the Sacred Treasure calls stepping on a landmine? Somehow, I feel bad after hearing this...’
"Stopping to think, don't you think the mayor was acting weird?" Sian asked, clearly trying to change the subject.
"I think so, although he seemed a little discontent at first, he was really nervous when he heard your last name, I have a slight feeling that he was afraid." Ophilia said.
"Now that you've said, it seems to be really the case." Sian said.
As if she had remembered something, Ophilia suddenly said, "Didn't you say you didn't come from a noble family?"
“And I didn't come, I mean, maybe I can be a bastard son of some noble, but I'm really an orphan, I didn't know my father or my mother. But when I was handed over to the orphanage, I had a reliquary around my neck with a text written on both sides.

Maybe it was something that my parents gave me, but I never heard of any noble family with that surname.” Saying this, Sian reached into the collar of his clothes and removed a silver reliquary with an oval shape from his neck and showed it to Ophilia.
Looking at the text in the reliquary, which was about 5 cm long and 3 cm wide, Ophilia spoke a little embarrassed, "I can't read."
'Oh, I had forgotten about that.'
He pointed to the side she was looking at and said, “On this side it’s written:
'For my dear Sian Fontes de Castilho
I hope you have a happy and joyful life,
Maybe I'm not by your side,
But know that I will always believe in you.
You were and always will be the best thing
That ever happened to me.
Since I can't promise to be here during your life,
I promise to love you
for the rest of mine.
With love, mom.'
And on the other side it's writ-”
Before starting to read the other side, Sian realized that Ophilia looked even sadder than before.
“Did something happen?" He asked.
"It's nothing... I was just thinking that being separated from your family when you're still a newborn and not being able to meet your parents should be very sad..."Ophilia spoke sadly while appearing to be lost in thoughts.
"It was really a little sad when I saw the other kids holding their parents' hands ... I've always been jealous of them, but I also met some good people in the orphanage..."Sian said thoughtfully as he remembered the past.
"What's written on the other side?" Ophilia asked while turning the reliquary.
"It is written:
'My son,
It's like your mom said.
With love, dad.'
P.S.: If you can, realize my dream
And have many wives and several children.
Hearing this, Ophilia was surprised.
"I was also surprised when I first read it." Sian received the reliquary and continued, "Although the latter was very anti-climatic, the first one made me feel a little bit emotional and curious. Maybe something happened to them, that is, if it was really my parents who left this reliquary."
Appearing to be quite thoughtful, Ophilia asked, "Why do you think that?"
"Because even though I've been looking around, I've never found a noble family with the surname Fontes de Castilho or any of those separate surnames." Sian said.

"That's strange... So why did the mayor seem afraid after he heard your last name?" She asked.
"It must be because I spread my name around, after all, besides being a hunter, I'm also known to the king of Hosnein." Sian said with a calm expression.
But inside it was completely the opposite...
'Shit shit shit, I was so focused on looking cool in front of Ophilia that I totally forgot about the reputation I have.'
'But that explains why he started acting weird so suddenly...’
"It probably must be that..." Ophilia said.
"Yes yes, that's it for sure." Sian agreed promptly.
While he was thinking of changing the subject again, Ophilia asked, "How big are 6 hectares? I've never heard of that form of measure."
"There are 60 thousand square meters."
“Si-Sixty thousand meters?! ”
“Yep.”
"That big?"
"It's not that big, it's square meters."
"I don't understand about these square meter things, I'm sorry..."
"It's almost 15 acres of land. You don't need to apologize so much, just ask whenever you don't know, just out of curiosity, there are still more units of measures like yards, miles and a few others.”
“That many?"
"I don't know exactly why, but I've heard that these forms of measurement came from the time before the calamity."
"From so long?!"
"Yep, many of today's customs came from the time before the calamity."
Sian and Ophilia continued talking all the way back until they reached the inn.
Getting there, they went straight to the room and continued talking until dinnertime, when they were called by the inn’s receptionist.
When they came down, an extravagant dinner awaited them. After finishing dinner quickly, when they were about to get up, the manager came to meet them to find out how Sian's visit to the mayor's mansion had been.
But they soon said goodbye and went back to the room.
Once there, Sian used magic to bathe and dry himself.
“Fuu~~, a bath after a long day is very refreshing, it’s a pity it’s not a bathtub. ”
"I never heard of mages using magic like that, it was always things like releasing a blast of fire or a stone arrow." Ophilia said.
"Magic is not as restricted as you think, there are many uses for it, you can use it even on a daily basis." He said.
“Even if it is not so restricted, I think almost nobody would use it for this, I heard that only nobles and rich people could learn magic, since it is very expensive to learn spells.
And besides, even these people may not be able to use magic, since they need to have aptitude.” She said.
"Well, how the magic will be used will always depend on the user, but leaving that aside, do you want to bathe too?"
"Can you really waste magic like that?" Ophilia asked.
"Don't worry, this spell doesn't use that much magic, I still have a lot to spare." Sian said proudly, puffing out his chest.
So I will accept your offer, should I take my clothes off?" She asked.
"It's not necessary, but it would be a feast for my eyes to see this sexy body without clothes." Sian replied.
"In that case..." Ophilia said smiling as she started taking off her clothes.
She began by untying the corset, the moment she did that, the hills that were trapped jumped to almost freedom.
Even being covered by the blouse, it was still possible to see its seductive peaks.
Then she took off her skirt, showing her voluptuous and sexy hips.
She wore a black lace panties that made her even sexier.
As she folded her skirt, she turned her back on Sian, slightly shaking her tail and leaning forward, putting her skirt on the bed.
Seeing that beautiful prancing ass, which seemed to be calling him, Sian began to get excited.
'She sure did it on purpose.'
She turned again to Sian, smiled and began to take off her blouse.
Soon, her twin peaks were finally free.
'Although they are slightly fallen because of her age, they are still beautiful.'
"You’re very sexy." Sian said.
She smiled seductively and said, "Thank you."
"Let's get this over with soon or I might end up devouring you." Sian said and started chanting the spell.
In the blink of an eye, Ophilia was already clean, then she looked at him and asked, "Do you still want to devour me?"

Slime of Gluttony
_____ ___, a completely and utterly deplorable person. Lazy, apathetic, and unmotivated. He spends his time as a shut-in, wasting his life away doing nothing of importance. This is the life of the man, a life of no importance. At the impulse of desiring food, he left his small and cramped apartment. Regretting his actions immediately, he was left with the prospect of a complete panic attack due to the numerous amount of people outside at that day. However, he pressed on, determined to find some sort of delicious food to consume. Life had other plans for him. He gets hit by a car, and after hearing strange words from an even stranger voice, he dies. However, minutes, hours, maybe even days later, he awakes, his senses of smell, sight, and hearing robbed of him. Author's Note: This is my first story on Royal Road, so it might not be the best. Although, I hope you enjoy! I'll probably write around 2000 words or more per chapter, but on average a bit more. If you're wondering, the cover art is drawn by me, just in case you thought I wasn't giving credit to the creator. This story might often times lean more into the comedy side of things, but stuff can still get pretty serious at times, especially in the later chapters. The story isn't super dark or anything, but character death is of course going to be a thing. Who? Well, you'll find out, eventually. Also, I'll upload chapters on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I hope you enjoy reading this little hobby of mine!

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
