Tom was sent away, and after a few bounces, he stopped. His body is full of scratches, and some blood was showing up from some wounds. He was in pain and had trouble breathing.

The creature was eagerly following Iska. Since she saw how she took over the orb, she had completely lost interest in Tom and the others. Sarah and Aiden approached Tom, totally worried.

- Are you ok? Aiden approached and checked Tom's wounds, who responded by shaking his head.

- I think... I'll be fine...

- Adolf should be back by now. Let's hope Iska can hold on long enough," whispered Sarah.

Although the sight was quite worrisome, it was obvious how much effort Iska put into moving. They left Tom aside to recover some energy and moved, started shooting rocks, and even though the creature ignored the attacks, they made it slow down.

Noelle observed everything and considered that it would not be good to intervene at this point. They needed to have this kind of experience, even if it is controlled. While she held this view, she couldn't help but be frightened when she saw her student get hurt.

Batze said nothing but was alert and ready when Noelle told him to act. She studied and tested everything the child showed, considering it a hard fight for her.

It belongs to her own family, but it is a species she could not identify. Her defense was stronger and more powerful.

A few minutes passed, and there was a roar in the distance. Tom recognized Drako's voice; he was the fastest in the group and had the most fire potential of his creatures. Adolf was riding on his back, and behind him, Lessar and Bronk were still flying.

He assumed the rest stayed behind to guard the camp. Drako's eyes showed some anger as he saw Tom hurt, Adolf got off his back, and Sarah ordered the creatures to attack from a distance.

Drako approached the creature and immobilized it with his psychic ability. The effect didn't last long; he freed himself from his restraint and attacked him. His blow didn't even hit, as Drako used his ability again. He grunted loudly as his target broke free.

Lessar arrived just as he broke loose and blinded him with his ability. He didn't have the same firepower as Drako and Bronk, so he chose the moments when he would intervene.

In the distance, Iska fell to the ground, completely exhausted.

Although she was blind, the creature attacked at random. Bronk arrived and attacked continuously while dodging his opponent's outburst. His cuts were not deep, and when he achieved something significant, they regenerated quickly.

Drako took advantage of the fact that she was still blind and pounced on her back. He knocked her down on the third attempt after she somehow reacted to his attacks and began to fiercely bite his prey on the ground while holding it in his claws.

This did not last long, and it tied the roots of the enemy on his back around Drako, making him stop his attacks. After immobilizing Drako, he tried to get up, Bronk attacked constantly, and his cuts became deeper and more precise.

A few moments later, a scream was heard nearby.

The smaller creatures had regained consciousness and attacked the children. Tom's group was not paying attention and was taken by surprise as they watched the creatures fight. They had injured Aiden when he was attacked from behind.

Noelle refrained from intervening after seeing how they responded. Adolf had extended his large territory and counterattacked using the rocks on the ground. Tom responded somewhat belatedly to the pain but began to "equip" himself with the rocks that had not entered Adolf's territory.

Sarah carefully observed what was happening on both sides. Aiden regained some mobility and attacked. Everything they did since this fight started was to keep their distance. He had knocked down the "little ones" before, so I think they would not be a problem.

I also thought that it would be a matter of time before the big one fell. After thinking that last, the creature had stopped resisting for a moment and looked at what was happening around him. He seemed unbalanced, perhaps because Iska had taken that orb.

The creature extracted itself from Drako while ignoring Bronk's attacks and rushed to the collapsed Iska.

Lessar flew in haste and tried to get in front of the creature to blind it again but was unsuccessful. A blow knocked him aside and sent him quite far away. Seeing that hurt Sarah. Drako had got on the other side while this was happening, and he roared as he crashed with all his strength.

He still couldn't immobilize his opponent with his psychic ability; he needed a few more seconds to do so. He diverted it a little from its course, so like the look of fury settled on him, did a blow to his head that left him stunned.

Bronk descended on the creature's head and began to stab his enemy savagely, but on his neck and parts of his head, the creature had a pretty solid defense thanks to those rocks.

Sarah turned her head momentarily to see her friends, after hearing Adolf say something. Tom ran by her side, which surprised her. He was heading towards the creatures.

A few moments later, Aiden and Adolf celebrated their victory and looked at Sarah, waiting for his orders. A little dazed, she pointed to Tom, and the three of them ran after him. At this point, they had to cooperate to stop the creature.

Tom had become a little desperate after seeing the creature charging back towards Iska. Right now, he was trying to get rid of Bronk, who was constantly stabbing it as it fluttered like a bird on top of him.

Since she could not face him directly, she ran directly to Iska, passed by the stunned Drako, and shouted at him not to let her be defeated.

Behind Sarah screamed to "put it away," she did not understand what he meant. When she finally saw Iska, she couldn't help but wrinkle her expression. He was quite bruised, his eyes were closed, and his breathing showed his situation.

He didn't know what to do. He was as upset as he was worried about Iska having gotten into this situation and himself. He thought it was his fault he was behaving this way. He didn't mind her behaving this way when they were at home, but he was endangering the entire group in this situation.

He tried to lift him a bit so he could see how he was doing. Iska reacted to the sudden movement. She murmured a "sorry" when she saw Tom's scratched face. He didn't respond; he just followed him, watching him while he thought about what his next move would be.

The only ones who had actually harmed the creature were Drako and Bronk. It was likely that if those guarding the camp were there, the fight would end more quickly.

It bothered him to know that they were useless in this situation. They were not capable of dealing with this type of enemy at this time; perhaps with better equipment, they could do so with the creatures' support.

If the creature had really attacked him, he did not believe that he would be conscious or alive at this time. It was certain that Sarah and the others thought the same about this situation.

But his teacher hadn't intervened yet. He wasn't sure why. I look at Iska again.

- Are you okay? What happened to that orb? Tom, I remember what the original plan was.

Tom wondered what it was, but this wasn't the time to look into what had happened. As he watched the fight, he remembered what Sarah had yelled at him.

- Come back, at this moment, you will only be in their way...- Tom interrupted him and pointed to the place where Drako and Bronk were fighting.

Iska saw the look of helplessness on Tom's face and accepted the order.
