Chapter 57
You wondered for a bit if you could perhaps still manage to escape your Mother, but no new problems came into Sight as the Month began, and you didn't have it in you to push away your Mother without a good Reason, which of course meant that your Fate was indeed sealed. But while you really didn't enjoy being so restricted in your Movements, things could still be worse, for you had your Statues all around the Rock to distract you, which helped you a lot to keep it together. Thus, you used them like the Necklaces you sent to the Vale to continue your work from afar in an effort to keep yourself occupied throughout the Nights, seeing as you were once more stuck lying still at Night like you were so many Years ago.
It was naturally straining your Mind to lie still for Hours again, but you were sure that you could manage it, and though you were annoyed with your Mother for being so unreasonable, the Days to come promised to be so exceptionally boring that you decided those Thoughts wouldn't do your mental State any good. Which combined with it all clearly making her happy, made you determined to endure it till she was satisfied, even though it clearly and frustratingly didn't do your other Relationships with your Family any good, you did neglect your Bond with her after all. But still, your Mother was truly far too popular under the Lions of the Rock for you to just keep her to yourself for a Month, even if you had nothing to do with it.
But just knowing that didn't actually help you as your Siblings continued getting annoyed with you over this whole issue you had pretty much no Hand in creating, well, sometimes there really were no right Answers to take, so you took it in stride and simply showed them the cold Shoulder. Though while that part was rather annoying not everything was, for while you often distanced yourself from your Mother in the past, partially to keep your Brother and Sister occupied, you were actually quite fond of her as well, but you never showed it seeing as it felt far too childish for you to seek Cuddles and the like.

Well, at least there were some Positives to playing the part of the Stuffed Animal each Night as you didn't need to utter a single Word to get cuddled, which was also why you were sure that your Mother would be satisfied once the Month had passed just as you had so speedily planned. For if this whole Fit of madness was really based on a simple lack of Affection from you, then fixing it like this shouldn't be a problem, though you're a bit unsure what you could do to resolve the issue with your agitated Siblings.
It would be a lot easier if your Cubs and Statues were able to give you some decent Intel on the both of them, but since you increased the amount of your Statues quite a bit over the Years, it was nigh impossible to passively gather Intel. Though that being said, your little Siblings got brighter in exchange for your Loss, so it wasn't something that bothered you all that much given that they could still report what they learned to you.
Like how you just learned a few Hours ago that Maltor and Cersei liked each other quite a bit as they met near one of the Training Yards for the Archers bordering the Tower of your Father. Said Information isn't directly important of course, but it would still be useful for the future seeing as it was confirmed by both the Necklace and the Cub. There were way too few People with actual Talent around her and Jaime, and with your little Brothers and Sisters confirming the Friendship, you realised that you would most likely only have one of the Brothers for yourself once their Training was finished.
For you could already see that your Siblings would most likely be in need of a Formation Leader that could handle the Logistics of their own Retinues and Escorts sooner or later, but it's not all that important for now, though that they have taken a liking to each other was still quite useful for the planning of future Projects. No, thinking more coldly about it, this really wouldn't do, you will have to spend Years to get the Argun Brothers to the Standards you envisioned for the Troop and Formation Leaders and you wouldn't just waste all that time for nothing, you just couldn't.

Yeah, you genuinely can't afford to just give up two of them to your Siblings one Day, the three of them were yours, and while you weren't someone that sought Profit for the Sake of Profit, no one could take the three of them away permanently. Perhaps they could be leased to gather some more Experience, but they would simply be wasted commanding only a few hundred Soldiers, hmm, perhaps Marie could help you with the issue. The finding of a few good and trustworthy Men skilled in Logistics for Jaime and Cersei once they were in need of such Support shouldn't be too hard a Task for her all things considered, you honestly didn't want to weaken the Armies of the Rock by squeezing it for skilled Personnel.
You continued to think about it all as time slowly tickled by and once your Mother finally woke up again you asked her to help you with the issue seeing as you had no Idea what she would do. You didn't want to commit to the wrong Decision while your mental State was still compromised by all the concentrated boredom filling your Mind, so you thought asking for her help would be the right Decision, you were wrong. Sadly, your Mother was still half asleep and so only listened with the bare minimum of Focus that was required. The only thing that stuck from your Explanation was that you wanted to keep the Boys, which quickly filled her with unrivaled Energy that she used to swat your Explanations of her Misunderstanding out of the Air one after another for the rest of the Day, and you're pretty sure she still doesn't believe you.

Twice Lived
Previously called Standard Reincarnation Story In a fraction of a moment, the Earth was no more. The planet was destroyed, and billions and billions of people were dead. And it was all an accident. This is the story of Elm. A regular American born once on earth and given a chance to be reborn again on a planet with magic and monsters and dungeons. Except that for Elm, this is far from the idealistic reincarnation into a loving family -- the standard story of a child raised by loving parents who teach him the ways of the world, Instead, Elm is born into a family of inquisitors. An order of nobility that is dedicated to hunting down and killing "Twice-Lived" -- the name society has for people like Elm who are reincarnated with all their memories of their past life intact. Disclaimer This story is: 1) Extremely violent and graphic. 2) Still in a rough draft stage. I see what I am writing more like a synopsis than a fully fledged story. I periodically will go back to flesh out earlier chapters, build characters, etc... If you find the words "Show don't tell," comforting accept that unfortunately, I'm not at that stage of the writing process yet. 3) At one point this story was called "Standard Reincarnation Story," and I had written an extremely off-putting description of the story. This was mostly to keep out people who would just read the silly first few chapters then rage quit as soon as the violent stuff got started. Since I just had my first .5 star rating (without a page read count increase) that technique is not working, so I might as well treat this as a regular fiction and try to get regular readers.
