Chapter 19
You dislike failing at anything in general, and you don't like failing twice at something any better, so it should be no surprise to anyone that ever had the pleasure of knowing you, just how much you hate failing a thousand times in a row. So you quickly decide that whoever thought it would be a great Idea to bring everlasting Winter to your Home would learn first Hand of your Thoughts concerning, squishing the waste of Space responsible until nothing but a fine Paste remains.
You truly can't remember if you ever held such anger towards another Person, for the one you hate the most, the Scum that got your last Family killed didn't do so out of his own Volition, so after you put him to the Sword and took his Armour everything was somewhat fine. But that someone not just ruins your whole Year but also weakens and in doing so endangers your new Family won't do, not now not ever, for you will simply not permit it. Be the Culprit a Human, a Giant, or even some kind of Monster you read about in your Books while waiting, you will get to them, all the same, and they better have some good reasoning for ruining your Year, or messing with your Family you suppose.
But even more frustratingly you actually got the permission to leave the Rock out of your Mother, under the Condition that you wouldn't do so in the current Weather, so of course any lull that actually came did so for a few short Hours at whatever time of Day the Weather felt like it. And you would give it to your Mother, for using that to such great effect in getting you away from your Books, if it weren't for the Fact that no Winter could truly be the exact same as the last, allowing you in Theory to slip away into Lannisport and then remain there until a second good lull shows up, which if it continues like this would give you all the time in the World.

Time for what you aren't all that sure yet, though you would most likely use it to order yourself a decent Sword, seeing as you certainly aren't going to get permission to order one for the next Decade or so. But then, if you were actually forced to do so you could always just create a Sword made of Stone, and it would be nearly indestructible as long as you wield it, if your current Experiences are anything to go by.
And you would guess that your Father is aware of it as well, though if he would still approve even after it was pointed out to him, that it would be unbecoming of a young Lady to use a Sword, as your Mother would surely do, is beyond you. For while your Father would surely just scoff it off normally with how valuable you are to the House, you just can't see him scoffing off your Mother, like even in a hundred Lifetimes, or at all.
Though after thinking for a bit on the matter, and looking once more at the unchanging Weather a few new Thoughts came to your Mind, thus you quickly decide to use your Ability to create yourself some Magma. Mayhaps you won't be needing a Sword made from Stone or Steel after all, and perhaps your new Weapon could even help you with softening up your Mother's Defences, for she would surely be willing to let you have something like a normal Sword in the future after you show up with a Magma Sword in Hand.
Looking over your work you feel something else than anger and agitation for a change, and you're proud about what a work of Art it became with so little effort, if only you weren't the only one that could hold it, it would be perfect. But you're satisfied nevertheless, and you can't suppress your Smile while tracing the Blade with two Fingers, admiring the truly beautiful glow. And while you hadn't anticipated that the harsh light of the Magma would change to look so very graceful, you still see it as a welcome surprise, and you find yourself actually hoping that your Parents won't make you destroy your new Sword, for it didn't even get to burn and dismember anyone yet.

It would truly be such a shame to destroy such an amazing Weapon just to please your Parents, and you really hope it doesn't come to that. But then it's not like you will have it on you all that much, for at least a few more Years, seeing as it is literally bigger than you, so it would most likely just be stored away for the time being. You wonder for a moment if you could cut a Giant in two with it, just for the fun of it, and then refocus on thinking about what having a Magical Sword will actually help you with.
There would of course be that your Mother would know that she can't possibly keep these things away from you for long, and with it some more freedom, which sounds quite good. Then there would be the Fact that it adds to your Ability to defend yourself, but as long as no one sends any Assassins your way that won't really matter, now will it. Yes, it truly seems like you have an actual Magical Sword, and it isn't good for anything other than looking good and inuring your Parents, mayhaps you will find someone in Lannisport that you could try it out on.
But then there is that darn Snow again, and again you curse the Gods that rule this World, can't they let you explore even a little bit of your Homeland, what would be the great problem with killing whoever summoned this Winter and be done with it? Was it the Champion of a God that used the Magic, and that's why they are fine with letting this happen, or do they just not care that it's messing up the whole Continent?
You think you have waited more than enough, to visit your now no longer new Guild again, so you think about how you will go about forcing your visit, mayhaps you could create a Tunnel, or clad your Boots in Stone and fly there, or you could simply use your Sword to keep the Magical Snow at bay, yeah, you almost smacked your Face when you remembered what the Sword made from molten Rock could be good for.
